I’m a family portrait photographer based in East Windsor, CT. I live with my fiancé, our dog Marcy and our cat Fauci. I love cooking, reading, walking in the woods, sushi, and of course photography. I completed my photography education at the Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2009 and went on to receive my Associate’s degree in business entrepreneurship in 2020. My photography has been featured in the Boston Globe, New Britain Herald, and on Channel 3 news. I am also an active board member and official photographer of the East Windsor Chamber of Commerce.

Growing up near cameras, flashes and lenses, my father was a photographer for a newspaper, and I loved developing photos with him in his darkroom. For the last few years, I have launched CC Garvie Photography and could not be happier--I love it ! Every new project is another exciting adventure, as I continue to develop my vision. I love capturing those precious moments, so we can look back one day and say, "wow look at that, remember when we took that photo?" That is photography to me, "preservation". Photography has always been a passion of mine even after I started my career as a science teacher. I wake up everyday and teach 100+ kids in 9th and 10th grade about the wonder and beauty of the sciences. I also get to wake up everyday with a camera in hand, and connect to loved ones starting out on new paths. I have this strong desire to create art and speak the truth of other’s lives.
