Hi, I’m Melanie! I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember. I have a background in photojournalism with years working in news and creative outlets. That background is at the heart of how I photograph weddings. I’m drawn to real moments, honest emotion, and the story that naturally unfolds when you’re fully present with the people you love. Nothing energizes me more than capturing your wedding day as it truly feels. Melanie is simply the best!
Melanie is an incredible photographer and person. She was so professional and helpful through every step of the way. She is kind, very organized, and quick to answer any questions we had. She went above and beyond to make us feel like the most important people in the room. Melanie brought along an amazing team who helped every detail run smoothly and who made us feel like royalty throughout the day. Melanie is the best in all aspects and I truly cannot reccommend her enough!

One of THE Best Decisions You’ll Ever Make!
Melanie has an incredible eye for capturing the moments you want, and moments you didn’t even know you wanted until you open the album link. Everything from the engagement and wedding sneak peak photos to the wedding day pictures themselves were breathtaking. We are having trouble not printing every single photo that they took! Melanie’s vibrant photography style highlights the colors of the day and allows us to relive the warm feelings from one of the most memorable days of our lives with each special moment she captured. Melanie and her team are not only incredibly creative but they also are so professional, courteous and enjoyable to work with. Melanie’s communication was excellent throughout the entire process– before, during and after our big day. She has such a fun personality, is so easy to talk to and has just the right balance of charisma and calming nature that we felt at ease and relaxed on our wedding day. She did all of this while sticking to a tight day-of schedule and giving such clear directions for her team! It truly made a difference seeing how much she cared about every single aspect and shot! A true artist!
From our first conversation, Melanie made us feel heard, eased our nerves, and understood what we wanted for our wedding day. She was responsive to every question and detail we brought to her, which gave us so much confidence in our choice. More than that, she was incredibly warm and friendly and continued to bring that light throughout the whole process. On the day itself, Melanie went above and beyond—she helped me into my dress, cheered us on throughout the celebration, and her whole team moved through the day like a well-oiled machine. Actually Perfect
I don't even know where to begin with Melanie. She is professional, knowledgeable, and made my husband and me feel like we were the only people she was working with the entire time. The scheduled calls to discuss a plan that worked for both of us, the quick follow-up when it came to emails and texts, and the day of communication where she brought the utmost best energy to our day, made for the perfect recipe. Even after the initial intake call, my husband and I knew we had to have her as part of our day; there was no question about how that was the best decision we ever made. I would highly recommend her for any of your photo needs and recommend her to everyone I meet (even if they don't have the needs right now), she's just that good.
