From our first meeting at our NYC engagement session, we knew WildRoot Moments was the right choice. She was sweet and direct, bringing so much energy to capture all the shots we wanted. She had a clear vision for what would work best and directed us with ease, making us feel comfortable the entire time. Her editorial style and breathtaking photos exceeded what we imagined, and she was quick to send sneak peeks that left us speechless!! Communication was seamless throughout the whole process, she always got back to us right away with clear answers to our questions. We cannot recommend her enough to couples looking for an elegant photographer who truly cares about telling your love story!

If you are looking for THE wedding photographer, trust me, stop here, you found her. And if you are looking for a photo/video team that genuinely cares and will give you the most stunning wedding photos/videos, RUN to Wildroot Moments and The FlameKeepers. Together they are an incredible powerhouse couple duo. My husband and I got married on April 10th in Rhode Island, and I genuinely cannot stop talking about how amazing our experience was from beginning to end. We first booked Wildroot Moments for our engagement shoot, and that alone had us completely sold. Destiny is seriously the sweetest person ever while also being insanely talented and confident in what she does. My (now) husband and I were nervous going into our engagement session because we wore all black and, as a Black couple, finding photographers who truly know how to capture different skin tones without washing people out can be stressful. Destiny NAILED it. The photos were stunning, flattering, elegant, and still felt like us. We left that shoot obsessed with her work. But then came the wedding day… Nothing could have prepared us for how incredible this team was in action. They were everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Aside from taking portraits/family photos, we barely noticed them throughout the day… yet they captured EVERYTHING. Later, while looking through guest videos and behind-the-scenes clips, we kept spotting them in the background running around like ninjas making sure not a single moment was missed. And honestly? They did not miss ONE thing. Destiny and Mac were beyond attentive the entire day. Destiny deserves her flowers because she truly helped run the day. She came prepared, organized, a hype girl, and it honestly felt like working with someone who cared about our wedding as much as we did. Speaking of previews… THE PREVIEWS??? We genuinely fell to the floor. The quality is INSANE. We cannot stop staring at our photos, and neither can anyone else. Every single person we show loses their minds over how cinematic, timeless, and beautiful everything looks. What made the experience even more special though was how personal everything felt. Throughout the whole planning process, Destiny was phenomenal with communication. She gave us resources and truly understood our vision from the start. She was the ultimate hype girl. Mac was also so easygoing and kind during planning calls and on the wedding day itself. In our guest bts videos, you can literally see Mac smilling so genuinly while Destiny focused and hyped up. At no point did we feel like “just another client.” We genuinely felt cared for. And one thing that seriously deserves recognition: our wedding had a very wide range of skin tones. Nobody looked gray, washed out, overexposed, or poorly edited. If you know, you KNOW how hard it can be to find photographers who truly know how to work with diverse skin tones consistently and beautifully. Absolutely mastered it. Booking Wildroot Moments and The FlameKeepers was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Truly individually talented, but together an absolute dream team. We also loved how human and warm they both were through the entire process. We never felt awkward in front of the camera, and by the wedding day it honestly almost felt like having friends (with communicating headphones lol) there documenting one of the biggest days of our lives with so much care. Truly unforgettable overall.

We absolutely loved working with Destiny! She took our engagement photos at Hartford City Hall, and they came out absolutely stunning. From the very beginning, Destiny made us feel so comfortable and natural in front of the camera- it truly felt like we were just enjoying the moment together while she captured every bit of it beautifully. Her eye for detail and ability to capture real emotion is incredible. The photos perfectly reflect our personalities and love story, and we couldn't be happier with how everything turned out.
