About this venue

Located in Moosup, Connecticut, Hope Lodge Venue is a unique event space. Perfect for celebrations, it has 2 floors of 5000 square feet of beautifully renovated space in a building bursting with historic charm. On the top floor, couples will encounter a wood ceiling, barn doors, gold chandelier and a huge stage. Combined, these elements can create an atmosphere like no other. On the lower level, couples will find an industrial but chic rustic space with large windows, full bar area and a bridal suite. We are also happy to share that we now offer access to our in-house speaker system, available on both floors and easy to use via Bluetooth perfect for setting the mood for your event.

The Perfect Room, located on the top floor, can accommodate up to 170 guests for a ceremony or reception. It features a stunning high wooden ceiling with a gold chandelier, a built-in stage, barn doors, and a convenient kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, sink, ice machine, and food warmer. Couples are welcome to bring their own food, work with any licensed outside caterer or food truck, or choose from our preferred vendors In-house speaker system easy to use via Bluetooth available

The Bella Room, located on the main floor, feature a rustic, industrial, and loft-inspired style that accommodates 80 seated guests with a bar area and bridal suite. Large windows and beautiful floors complete this space with a direct access to the outdoor space, fully handicap accessible and kitchenette available with counter spaces, sink and fridge. Couples can bring their own food, use any outside licensed caterer/food truck or use our preferred vendors. In-house speaker system available.

    Hidden Gem

    Hope Lodge Venue in Moosup is such a hidden gem. The historic building has so much charm and character, but it’s also incredibly well kept and thoughtfully maintained. Both floors are beautiful and offer their own unique feel, which makes the space so versatile for different kinds of events. The chandelier in the Perfect Room is absolutely stunning and really makes the room feel special. One of the best things about Hope Lodge is that it’s affordable while still feeling elegant, and it truly serves as a blank slate for anyone planning a DIY party or event. You can really make the space your own. If you’re looking for a venue with beauty, flexibility, and character, Hope Lodge is definitely worth checking out.

    Great place !

    Hopelodge was a beautiful place! The owners were absolutely fantastic with communication. Any time I had a question or needed clarity they would answer right away. I really loved how I could DIY my wedding the way and I wanted and this venue was very affordable compared to others!

    Bright and Open event space

    I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

    Great DIY Venue

    I've had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue on several occasions, and I've been consistently impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail. Their communication is prompt and they are incredibly easy to work with, making the planning process a breeze. The venue itself is an open, flexible space that allows couples to truly make it their own. I've seen them transform the space to match the unique vision of each couple, and the end result is always stunning. If you're looking for a wedding venue that will work with you to bring your dream day to life, I highly recommend considering Hope Lodge Venue.

Yes you are allowed to bring your own alcohol in with presentation of a liability insurance. You can also hire a bartending company or a caterer with a liquor license that will be on site serving drinks to your guests, in that case scenario the liability insurance won't be required as the vendor you hired will cover you.
Yes we do have a self-parking in our lot, you are allow to park on High Street (on the left side of the venue) and across the street after hours.
Our lower level the Bella Room is wheelchair accessible.
Your reservation includes the venue from 9am to 11pm. Each extra hour is $250. Set and clean up must be included in your time frame.
If you only rent the Bella Room on the main floor the retainer fee is $250 If you only rent the Perfect Room on the top floor the retainer fee is $250 If you rent Both Floors, the retainer fee is $350. This Retainer Fee will be refunded it to you within 30 days after your event if no cancellations, issues or damages.
Cancel 60+ days before event: 20% of rental fee refunded (tax refundable) minus the the cleaning fee as event did not happen and full balance has not been paid. Cancel within 60 days: Full rental and retainer fees are retained; cleaning fee refunded if balance has been paid in full.
If you only rent the Bella Room or the Perfect Room the cleaning fee is $125. If you rent both floor the cleaning fee is $225. What is expected from you is to take back with you any decoration you bring in, to clear the space and to dispose of the garbage bags into the dumpster.
Once you come in for a tour and you decide we are the right place for you, an inquiry form on our website will need to be filled out in order for us to send you your Proposal with everything you need to know. The Deposit will have to paid online at time of booking when signing the agreement. The payments can be split up in 4 different payments with a final payment 30 days prior to the wedding date.
The Deposit must be paid online at time of booking. A $15 processing fee will be applied. The Deposit will be refunded on the same card within 30 days after the event if no cancellations, issues/damages occurs. The remaining payments can be pay online, a 2.9% processing fee will be applied to each payment. To avoid this fee you can send us a check/money order to our PO box or meet up at the venue. Whatever works!
The retainer fee is due 48hours after received your client portal and signing the contract. If you chose to do a payment plan (we can go up to 4 payments), the 1st payment will be due one month after paying the retainer fee. The next payments will be set 2 months apart. The full balance must be due 30 days prior to your event.
Yes! You are more than welcome to use any outside vendors as long as they are licensed and insured.
We sure do. Our list is available on our website. We meticulously chose our vendors and met with each of them. We support small and local businesses. Let them know you are booked with us to received a discount of their choice.
We have white and black linens available for $12 each + taxes.
