“I found Hannah and Jordan through instagram and immediately fell in love with their work. In meeting with Hannah about traveling to Boston I knew she would be a perfect fit for our beachy wedding in Massachusetts. She was able to bundle everything for us and we were able to even use our points to book them flights to make it more cost efficient. Hannah asked us to book for the day before the wedding in the morning so they had time to make changes if something happened with their flight—and thank GOD for that. The morning before the wedding I got a text from Hannah that their flight was delayed and they wouldn’t make their connection. They were immediately on the phone with the airline finding a way to get here. They kept in contact the whole time and flew into a different airport entirely and had to drive further to get to our venue, they handled everything and I wasn’t worried for a moment. The actual day of the wedding was amazing. Hannah worked with me while Jordan worked with Tom (my husband) and when we came together for our first look and group pictures they were so in sync making sure to get every shot imaginable. When Hannah delivered our sneak peak I felt like I was reliving the best day of our lives. I cried immediately looking at the pictures and what they were able to capture. When we got all of the pictures back (8 weeks after the wedding which was earlier than we expected!) we loved everything they captured. There were also so many wonderful pictures of our family dancing the night away which we were thrilled with! We just had the most amazing time working with them, Hannah jumped on the dance floor with me and my bridesmaids towards the end of the night for “the wobble” and she truly felt like a friend by the end of the day.”

“In October of 2019, the love my life proposed to me. All excited and bushytail from the engagement I immediately started planning our wedding that night. Before 9pm I had our date set, May 15, 2021. I had asked a few people I knew what was the one thing they wished they could have redone or really could not live without. Most said "if you're going to spend money on a photographer, make sure to get a professional with plenty of experience." So I took those words and ran with it. Fast forward spring of 2020, COVID is new and at its prime. I stressed about getting a photographer and meeting one. That's when I found Courtney. From the first message I sent her, she made me feel at ease. She set up our first meeting over zoom and went through everything with us. Budget, theme, and most importantly what we wanted out of our photographer. She was very professional and set us up with a payment plan for the wedding package. Fast forward to our engagement session with her, she made everything go so smoothly as we did not have to worry about posing or being uncomfortable. The pictures were absolutely beautiful. Comes May 15, 2021 as any bride would be the nerves are as high as they can be. My soon to be husband has a large family so this weeding was bigger than expected. Courtney laid everything out and immediately went to work. Working around everyone. She already had a few things planned out and asked if there were anything we wanted specifically that we may have forgotten to tell her. She made me feel so at ease. The pictures we recieved were absolutely breathtaking and incredible. Courtney has been one of the most understanding and professional people I have ever met. Since our marriage in 2021 we have welcomed a beautiful baby girl in which Courtney done her newborn session and is about to do more photos for us. She has become our go to person when it comes to the best pictures. I highly recommend her!”

“Nick is a gem!! We are so thankful that he photographed our wedding. My partner and I had a lot of requests, and Nick accommodated them all while never making us feel difficult. He listened carefully to what was important to us - for my husband it was not stopping the party to take pictures and for me it was LOTS of candids of our loved ones. Somehow Nick made it happen!! We got gorgeous photos of the two of us just being ourselves with each other and amazing dance floor shots of our guests having the best time! With no posing!! The colors in the photos are fantastic -- even though Nick does AMAZING work outdoors he makes indoor photography feel just as special. Nick made a special effort to take a lot of photos of my grandparents and our parents specifically which we will treasure in years to come. Our friends said that the photos "look like how the day felt" which felt so right. We were amazed by how many micro moments between guests Nick captured!! Reliving the day via the photos is now my favorite past time. To top it all off, Nick was incredibly kind and calm throughout the day. Everyone in our families raved about how nice our photographer was. He worked with our coordinator for our timeline to run on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. “Wow… I don’t even know where to start, but the stars literally aligned with Dani (and Jed) from Elle & Co Photography. I found Dani while scrolling bridal Facebook groups, which can be… a lot. Trying not to assume the worst from all the horror stories. I came across her and immediately knew she was it. I sent the message and crossed my fingers. Her photos were exactly the vibe we were going for. We chose to elope near Sleeping Bear Dunes for a reason… the color of the water, the fall tones, all of it. And Mother Nature gave us the most imperfectly perfect day. Wind, sand, rain… you name it. THANKFULLY we had Dani to capture it all. The amount of time, energy, and care she put into our day (and our reception back in Indy... we booked her for both) was beyond anything we expected. Her communication was top notch. She scouted, scouted, and then scouted again. Plans, backup plans, backup backup plans… which we absolutely needed. Most importantly she kept us on. time! We literally showed up to our ceremony spot and got hit with a “nope, not today” thanks to a government shutdown… even though we had permits and confirmations. But Dani already had her little hidden gem location ready to go, and it ended up being incredible. Like… better than what we had originally planned. And let’s talk about the conditions… late October on Lake Michigan, 25 mph winds, sand flying everywhere, and easily 10,000 steps trekking through dunes to chase the best views. Dani was everywhere at once making sure we got every shot. And Jed… running through sand like he trained for this moment. The two of them together are the dream team. Whatever it takes, they make it happen. They didn’t miss a single moment. From travel time to the ceremony, to the little in-between shots… even getting the perfect fall leaves shot with the Sleeping Bear Dunes sign (yes, it took a plenty of tries and yes, it was worth it). Champagne, lanterns, sparklers back at the domes… they captured all of it. And gave us just enough direction so we looked our best without ever feeling staged. And even after all of that, Dani went back and edited like crazy to balance out the fact that while we "looked fine"… we were most definitely freezing. The final photos are unreal. Our day was made by friends, family, and chosen family… and we’re so happy to add Dani and Jed to that circle. #PhotosToFriends for life!”

“We hired Jeff to take photos for an intimate outdoor ceremony (us and 12 guests). The planning process was easy and stress free. Jeff slotted himself into the day seamlessly to capture candid moments in the ceremony and the time leading up to it. “It's hard to describe exactly how wonderful of an experience it was to work with Michi and Maya. From the very first moment, they were incredibly professional, friendly, and everything about them gave us confidence that they were the best possible people to photograph the most important day of our lives. It's such a special privilege to have your wedding photographers be so happily in love themselves. They have a uniquely deep understanding of what love is, looks like, and how to capture that through the lens of a camera in such a way that you can easily relive every moment just as clearly as the first time. We originally hired them just for photography, but decided at the last minute to add videography onto our package (highly recommend having video). We reached out to Maya and she was so helpful in accomodating the last minute addition. The day of our wedding, "they were like ninjas," to quote one of our more observant guests. Some other photographers try to act as wedding coordinators and end up turning the day into a photoshoot instead of a celebration, but not Michi and Maya. They had a few planned moments of staged/directed pictures, but otherwise their candid photography style turned out to be the most beautiful and authentic representation of a wedding that I've ever seen (ok maybe a bit biased there). I can't recommend enough that you hire Michi and Maya. We love them so much, and undoubtedly you will too!”
