“Our February 2025 wedding at The Pitcher Inn was nothing short of extraordinary. From start to finish, the entire experience felt effortless, warm, and deeply personal. Jim truly led the service team with exceptional care and professionalism. He made sure every detail ran seamlessly—not just on the wedding day, but throughout our entire two-night stay afterward. Anything we needed was anticipated before we even had to ask, which made the whole experience feel incredibly thoughtful and calm. Sergiu, Shanay, and Jannielle deserve special recognition for keeping the energy light, fun, and engaging. Our guests absolutely loved connecting with them—it felt less like “staff” and more like friends who were genuinely excited to be part of the celebration. Their presence elevated the entire evening. The food was a 12/10. Not a single dish was sent back, which says everything. Chef Jacob and the kitchen team (Marine, Arra, Cem, Ervin, and Stella) went above and beyond, even accommodating a gluten-free request for just one guest with care and attention that never felt like an afterthought. And the cake—crafted by head baker Jordan—was truly breathtaking. It looked like something straight out of Vogue and tasted just as incredible. Our ceremony was very small and intimate at the courthouse up the road, and our cocktail-style celebration at The Pitcher was intentionally simple. But doing “simple” well requires an immense amount of planning—and thanks to Caitlin leading the way, I didn’t stress once. She took everything off my plate, made decisions easy, and even stepped in to make choices for me when needed. Her calm confidence allowed me to be fully present and enjoy every moment. We already can’t wait to do a vow renewal someday—just so we have an excuse to plan another party at The Pitcher Inn. This place, and the people who make it what it is, will forever hold a special place in our hearts.”

“Our wedding at Sugarbush was perfect. We worked with Carolann who was extremely easy to work with, professional, and made the day of feel completely seamless. We got married in the Claybrook courtyard, held cocktail hour outside Gatehouse, reception inside Gatehouse, and had an after party in the pub. Every detail was excellent - bar service, food, and the team's ability to bring my half baked vision to life. They handled all my questions, last minute requests, and day of coordination. We stayed on-site and our guests loved the hotel. The large suites were great for getting ready and hanging out post events. As the bride, all I had to do was show up where Carolann told me to be and I had the best day. I know there was a whole team working behind the scenes to make that possible and I am so grateful.”

“It was so hard to begin to write this review because we have a book of amazing things to say about Lareau Farm. Being from Connecticut, my Husband and I accidentally found Lareau Farm Inn and fell in love with both the location and the staff. From the second we met Helen for our tour of the venue, she remained extremely helpful and easy to contact. What immediately grabbed our attention about this venue is that you can stay at the Inn for the weekend with your family and close friends. This was such a special weekend for us, we were surrounded by our bridal party and our direct families from Thursday to Monday. The Inn has beautiful land to walk around, a creek to swim in, and my younger sisters loved walking around to see the flowers. Even better, the breakfast at the Inn was delicious every single day (we say it is the best french toast we have ever had). Helen and the team at the Farm were accommodating with all of the ideas that we had. On Thursday we held an outdoor yoga class on the grounds of the Inn- it was peaceful and everyone had so much fun. We decided to have rehearsal dinner at the Historic Red Barn and it was beautiful. Helen has so much attention to detail, tables and decorations were spot on to what we had imagined. We opted for the American Flatbread at rehearsal dinner and our guests say it was the best flatbread they have ever had ( we even ordered extra later that night!). The best part about our wedding morning was that we had no worries because we knew that Helen and the team had everything under control. I was so calm, cool, and collected, on the wedding day morning and it was all due to everyone making the process so easy. As a bride who had every little detail planned out, Helen was able to place every decoration perfectly just by following little sticky notes I had left her. Helen was great at contacting our vendors and keeping everything going smoothly. We decided to have a food buffet for dinner, and we still have our guests talking about how good the dinner was, “ the best wedding food ever”, as they say. I think we went up for thirds at one point! One of our favorite parts of the night was sitting around the fire after our Reception, having s'mores , and watching the stars. Another plus of the venue location is that there are no street lights around, so star watching is spectacular. There was not one thing throughout our entire wedding weekend that went wrong, and nothing we would change. The venue is so beautiful, it makes for perfect pictures no matter where you are. If you are looking for a venue that is laid back, naturally beautiful, has delicious and fresh food, and kind staff, then LF is your place. A month after our wedding the farm surprised us with a painting of my bouquet as a gift- just another instance where they are so thoughtful! There is nothing better than enjoying coffee on the porch and the company of everyone you love on the day you get married. I wish we could give this venue more than 5 stars because they deserve it. A huge thank you to Helen, again, and the team at Lareau Farm, Colby & Taylor Nolan”

“The Inn at the Round Barn Farm is one of the most magical places on the planet. We had our September 2026 wedding at the Round Barn and it was everything we dreamed of and more. The location, the beauty, the comfort, the service... all immaculate. We knew this is the venue we wanted from the minute we stepped foot on our tour in 2024. Fortunately, it lived up to all our expectations. The inn itself is clean and inviting. There's a variety of room styles - we had our immediate family stay here during wedding weekend and they all loved it. The unique decor makes for fun spots to do wedding photos too! Ashley, the innkeeper, just instantly becomes part of your family. She is kind and thoughtful and makes sure you have everything you need. For example, she made sure she had iced coffee for my fiancé and I before we arrived because she remembered from our tasting weekend we didn't do hot coffee. Also the breakfast and treats she makes is UNREAL - so yummy. I keep thinking about the maple yogurt bowls... Renee, the wedding coordinator is a force; she is exactly who you want running your big day. She is calm and easy to work with, while also running a tight ship and making sure you get everything you want. A few months out from our wedding, when we met and started working with Renee, so many of our lingering concerns just dissolved. She is ON IT. We really wanted a private breakfast the morning of our wedding to do private vows. We would've been fine with just a table... Renee went above and beyond to create a beautiful, romantic, private breakfast for us. This was one of the highlights of our entire wedding weekend. Ari, food and beverage manager, just simply makes your dreams come true without you having to do much. We gave her notes from our food tasting and general "vibes" for our signature cocktails and she just nailed it. She also does so much more for you than 'just' the food and drink. Her and Renee are a dynamic duo for all the things you need. I also just appreciated her ability to be fun and thoughtful during a weekend that had a lot of pressure on us. Food was really, really important to us. We wanted really extraordinary dinners for our guests. RBF nailed it. Guests were talking about the food all day and night. My friends are STILL talking about the caviar potatoes in my group chat. Every single bite I took was 5 stars. We can't wait to return here for our anniversary every year. 3”

We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. “We got married at Stickney Farms last weekend, and we really can't explain how wonderful it was. We had all our friends and family stay on the property with us, we used the field for giant games of kickball, volleyball, badminton, and capture the flag. We swam in the waterfalls on the property, walked the trails, and took in the beautiful valley views all day every day. The dancehall was everything you could hope for as a dinner venue - historic, elegant, and magical. The owners are incredibly kind, responsive, and wonderful people. Being able to use the property and do our own food and flowers and everything else let us have exactly the wedding we hoped to have. Every single one of our guests told us that it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I feel like I'm giving away a hidden gem, but we already got married there so now it's ok if this place is booked every weekend!!!!”

“(9/27/25; 130 people) It is hard to sum up how special of a place the Tillerman is. We feel so lucky that we were able to have our wedding there and have endless gratitude for the Tillerman team for giving us the best weekend of our lives. From our first conversation with Kenzie, we immediately felt that this is not your normal wedding venue. Jason, Kate, Kenzie, Merel, and the entire Tillerman team have created an environment and experience that magically combines unique intentionality with flawless execution. As a couple planning from CA, we felt deeply cared for and we always knew we were in the best hands. We were already in love with the Tillerman and their wedding process even before we stepped foot on property. The easiest and best part of the entire planning process was every touchpoint with the Tillerman team. Menu & beverage planning was a joy and the genuine care for sourcing locally, bringing a unique farm to table experience to guests, and letting couples be creative in crafting their event. Merel & Kenzie even made custom menu art and the most incredible printed materials for us. Jason sourced such a fantastic list of beverages for us and we had the kindest, best bartenders. It is a unique combo to be able to give guests incredible food & bev and an incredible, seamless guest experience and the Tillerman cares deeply about both; you can tell it is so woven into their ethos. If I could have Kenzie plan & execute every event in my life I would be thrilled. And truly...I cannot tell you how many people came up to us to say that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. It is incredible what Chef Taylor & the whole team does. In addition to a stunning ceremony location where you can hear the river, to the perfect party barn, to the best accommodations that allowed our families to be together the whole weekend, every nook and cranny at the Tillerman is special. Our guests loved exploring the Cozy and sitting by firepit and I felt like I would blink and the Tillerman had transformed the space and thought of something unique for the guest experience. Every photo is stunning because of the natural beauty of the Tillerman. We also were able to have an incredible family kick off dinner at the restaurant and we all couldn't get enough of the property. We feel so beyond lucky to have found the Tillerman and it will forever be a special place to us. If you are looking for a venue that cares deeply about you as a couple, is the antithesis of a cookie cutter wedding venue, is kind and professional, and goes above & beyond in every aspect, then look no further. We are so grateful for the amount of love and care that was put in by every single person at the Tillerman. We can't wait to be back!”

“We had our September 2024 wedding at FF and let me tell you, this place and these owners are special. Farmhouse Flowers was the first and only venue we looked at. From the beginning, Thomas (co-owner) was so patient with all of our questions. We immediately got the sense that he cared about us and our event. He even gave us suggestions for how we should word certain things when speaking to different venues! Working with the FF team in the months leading up to your wedding is stress free. They get everything organized and set up for your event far in advance and are so easy to work with. They are flexible and are willing to do anything they can to make your event perfect. In the week leading up to our event, Bridget (co-owner) went into labor and had a baby. She was literally at the venue the NEXT DAY setting up flowers to make sure our event was on track. They showed no signs of stress and just continued to blow us away. The day before our wedding, Thomas was at the property assisting us with anything and everything. The only word I can use to describe our wedding day is perfect. The entire property comes together to create such a beautiful environment for the wedding party and the guests. The house on the property is perfect for getting ready or for providing lodgings for vendors. The ceremony spot is STUNNING, it overlooks fields of beautiful flowers, the barn, and beautiful Vermont landscapes. Our reception was such a hit. There are so many things for guests to do throughout the day. They can play with cutie animals, sit by the pond, enjoy the firepit, stroll through the garden, play cornhole, or dance the night away. If you are looking for a rustic New England vibe wedding, look no further. This venue and the owners will make your wedding day absolutely unforgettable.”

“Riverside Farm was so wonderful to work with and a spectacular place to host our wedding! We hosted around 130 people and had three days of events at Riverside Farm in 2026 and all went so smoothly and were stunningly beautiful. We had a welcome party in the evening the first day, a cocktail hour and reception the second day, and a farewell brunch the morning of the third day. It’s lovely to have the whole space for your wedding for the weekend - we were glad to only have people we knew at the venue, and to not feel rushed for arriving and dropping things off nor leaving at the end. Kaycee gave us a tour of the property in 2025 which was very helpful and gave us confidence. Then over the next year, we worked extensively with Krissy, our wedding coordinator, to bring the wedding weekend to life. She was excellent, friendly, helpful, and kept everything running smoothly and was our one point of contact for anything we needed related to Riverside Farm. She coordinated all with 1888 Builders, the company you are required to rent from for tables, chairs, kitchenware, etc. We found the prices to be reasonable and it was easy to just work through Krissy and Vermont Farms Catering, who did our catering, as they knew exactly what was needed for most things. The property is absolutely stunning. The barns are immaculately maintained and the grass and landscaping too. The accommodations vary in layout and we and our wedding party enjoyed them but they are not all your typical rooms of a queen or king bed. Additionally, they are scattered around the property but none are so far from the main activities that it’s a hassle. We enjoyed the beautiful Suite for the bridal couple, it’s a large, eclectic space and convenient from the red barn. We would highly recommend Riverside Farm and Krissy and the whole team for your wedding!”

“20/10 recommend getting married on the Mountain Top! The venue in and of itself is a DREAM. The staff and servers went above and beyond. Shout out to the events coordinator manager, Danny, who quite literally was always smiling and checking in on us our entire wedding weekend. My husband and I live out in Seattle, but we’re both from Massachusetts. We wanted somewhere in New England that has that rugged mountain landscape, but also somewhere everyone could join us for the whole weekend. I’m so obsessed with it here, can’t WAIT to come back! We used Meadows Edge Florals for our flowers/decorations, and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say about Gayle and her team. We used Juniper Studios for photography and Angela and Idena’s talents are something I can’t even put into words. Best decisions I’ve ever made.”

“We had a lot of guests from out of town/state and hosting our weekend & big day in the heart of the village was so phenomenal; people could walk to eateries and shops to design their days and nights without us having to plan too much extra for them or isolating them at a single venue that required a car to go somewhere else. THE STAFF at The Stowe Village Inn were always thinking ahead. Lit a fire during cocktail hour due to the chilly wind (late September wedding) and it ended up being a great accent to the atmosphere and a gathering point for guests- the fire stayed lit for the entire event! They were very accommodating to us as the bride and groom, knew exactly what we wanted when we wanted it (signature drinks upon arrival; effortless flow to dinner with 115 guests & great display for our dessert table). We highly recommend the location, the space (those floor to ceiling glass windows in the dining room CANNOT BE BEAT) we got so many compliments on the venue itself the staff were top notch. Wish we could re-live the day!!!!!!!”

Molly took care of everything, it was set up so nicely and exactly as we had discussed, they went above and beyond to ensure the offerings were gluten free and delicious, and helped us make a custom (and very cute) menu. “Our experience at the Essex was 10/10. Our event coordinator was Cindy, who did a phenomenal job guiding us and our wedding planner through the choices to be made and the lay of the land! She was so communicative and was great about answering any and all of my questions (and I had a lot). The banquet and catering team spearheaded by Sydney was fabulous as well; I have celiac disease and it was very important to me that I have a dedicated gluten-free wedding, and Cindy and Sydney made my dreams come true while also navigating our guests varied allergies and dietary restrictions! The food was phenomenal and several of our guests commented on the high quality of the meals. We and our guests also loved that the inn was connected to everything we needed on the property all weekend - we never had to leave the building (which was ideal, given we got married in early March!). The inn is so cozy and cute, and the spa is a wonderful and relaxing bonus. My husband and I have nothing but good things to say about our entire (flawless!) wedding weekend at the Essex, from the rehearsal dinner to the farewell brunch. Photo by Anne Mientka Photography”

“I love the Intervale Center, it is so beautiful! I knew that by choosing to get married there in July, we could really cut back on our decorations and let the landscaped grounds really shine. This venue is very conveniently located to Burlington, VT, but doesn't feel like you're in a city. It feels quiet and somewhat secluded. The rental/site fee was very affordable (and what you pay goes to a good cause!) and their guide book/post-booking-brochure is really helpful. They provide tables and chairs which are probably ample if you are having a small shindig, though you will likely want to cover the tables as they are not very pretty! Or you can always rent tables and chairs at additional cost. Most of what they offer is very DIY, so get some friends together (we set up in less than an hour with our friends). Our wedding here was pretty low-key with about 40 guests, but I think this could work for more formal gatherings too. My top of mind words to describe it would be "Pretty, local, affordable".”
