“I used Summit Events Co. for my December '24 wedding and could not recommend them more! DJ Ben was SO fun and really kept the party alive. He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. Overall I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Summit Events Co!”

There were a few minor hiccups during the ceremony and reception (that were not caused by him), but he was able to be quick on his feet and keep the wedding flowing. The photo booth package he has available is a MUST! Guests were raving about the printouts and the quality of the photos! Attached is an example of what the printouts look like. These also can be sent to your phone and will be emailed to you the next day. We were beyond happy to with the energy, music selections, effort, and work Ryan put out for our wedding! Our venue had recommended BVTLive if we were interested in booking a band, so we watched one of their live showcases streamed live on YouTube. Leading up to the wedding we worked closely with our band leader, El, to choose songs and create a timeline for our wedding. “Josh had our whole wedding dancing all night. With really creative mixing, he was able to blend in so many different genres seamlessly. Most importantly, he was really attuned to the crowd's energy and was great about knowing when to play a song in full and when to just tease us with quick samples. If you're looking for someone who really listens to what you want, instead of playing just the same 30 songs you hear at every wedding, Josh is your DJ. The music selection process is easy - in addition to check-in calls and zooms, he uses an app, so you can build you can craft the perfect playlist ahead of time. We both really enjoyed adding songs to our app throughout the planning process. But the best was actually hearing the way he was able to combine so many of our favorite songs for our reception party. He had all our of guests (ages ranging from 10 to over 80 years old) dancing all night long. Our first comment from friends the day after our wedding was about how fun they had on the dance floor and how great the music was! I also think its important to add that Josh handled our wedding ceremony music, cocktail music, dinner music and sparkler exits as well- he provided mics, sounds systems, everything we needed, and all of those were executed perfectly. He was on time for set-up, very respectful of the rules/guidelines in places at our historic venue, and he collaborated really well with our other vendors to make sure everything looked and sounded perfect. Also he is just the nicest guy- really responsive on email and genuine- which was so, so appreciated during tho last few chaotic months of wedding planning. 10/10 - highly recommend.”

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

From the beginning, the conversations felt like the perfect balance of professional and personal, which made the entire process so comfortable. Phillip truly became my go to person for everything, and that meant more than I can put into words. I also really appreciated my first conversation with the owner.
