“We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise. When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. We couldn't agree more that Melhorn Manor was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we have the incredible team to thank for all the hard work, attention to detail, and love that went into making this the wedding of our dreams. We, and our families and loved ones, will truly cherish the memory of this day for a lifetime. We are so grateful to have had the absolute joy of working with Allory, Jess, and the entire Melhorn Manor team. They were enthusiastic, thoughtful, kind, and so organized at every step of the way. We can't imagine what our special day would have looked like anywhere other than Melhorn Manor - what an amazing place that will hold a special place in our hearts forever. We simply can't thank the entire staff enough!!”

“This was the perfect venue for my husband and I! We got married outside in the apple orchard on 6/6/26 and it was absolutely beautiful. We love the tranquility and nature focus of the venue. Our coordinator, Tara, was super helpful throughout the process and on the wedding day. We hired our own wedding planner which I recommend to make the day and process go even smoother. She and Tara worked great together. We did our cocktail hour in the barn for 1.5 hours since we had a lot of add on stations and the owl and it was amazing. We also had the 10 minutes of alone time where we actually got to eat and drink before entering cocktail hour which was super nice! The barn is absolutely stunning. The reception was amazing as well. We added on an extra hour, so we could end at 11pm which was great. The food was delicious all night, especially the prime rib and all the cocktail hour goodies, like the bacon bar! Our day was so so amazing, and the venue played a big role in that. A few things we would change about the venue: you are required to pick a vegetarian option for plated dinner, which we were a little disappointed about, there isn't much space for the groom to get ready in, and you can't really get everybody ready on site due to the time you're allowed there and the space allotted. Still though, we absolutely loved it and highly recommend.”

“CCC has been so easy to work with and we couldn’t be more excited to have CCC host our wedding in January 2021! Natasha the Events & Dining Director has always kept open (And fast!) communication and has a real understanding of the experience we hope for! Chef didn’t wince once we submitted a request for a special 5 course wine dinner for our reception. He took our ideas and truly made our tasting experience at the club wonderful. I know our family and friends will be over the moon when they see how the club will pull everything together.”

“First off, online photos do NOT do this venue justice. We looked at Applecross last August and from the moment we walked in, we knew this was our venue. It is absolutely beautiful and the directer, Susie, made us feel so comfortable and at ease during the whole process. She answered any questions I had and that really showed that she cared about her couples. I’m SO happy we went with Applecross! The day of our wedding, everything went PERFECTLY! I owe that to Susie, her assistant Heather, the Gardens At Applecross staff and all of our vendors! I did not have to worry about a thing. Our guests all commented on how the venue was beautiful and the food was amazing! I truly couldn’t have asked for a better day! So if you’re thinking about Applecross as your wedding venue, DO IT! You will NOT be disappointed! OH! They were also pet friendly, which really won us over! If we had to do it all over again, I’d pick Applecross in a heartbeat!”

“I knew from the moment we ended our tour that DCC was the venue for us! Terri greeted us at the tour and walked us through their newly renovated ballroom. My guests are still raving 2 months later about the venue and the high quality dinner and deserts. They REALLY loved the food. My church ceremony was 45 minutes away, so my willingness to travel that far between ceremony and reception is a testament to have amazing DCC is. I wanted a venue were I was confident I wouldn't be worrying about any thing on my special day and DCC provided that. I was able to use their table numbers, glass vases, and back ground arch wish saved me those additional expenses/decisions to make. Terri also offered us a card box, but I opted to use my own so I could add a lock even though the box was securely placed by the sweetheart table. Decision fatigue is so real but with Terri I never had any worries about my reception. I last minute decided to have Sean Reilly, who sounds just like Frank Sinatra, sing during cocktail hour. It was no problem for them to have a dedicated space for him and assist him in his set up. Their flexibility, understanding, and positivity was amazing. The venue is large with a lot of space! The cocktail area is large and the ballroom is beautiful. None of my guests had to wait for drinks since the bar staff was super efficient. It rained a lot on my wedding day, but Terri was super prepared and explained to me the adjustments she would make in the placing of the decor. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Terri and DCC and recommend it to anyone getting married! We had so much fun and are so grateful for Terri and her team! “We held my daughter's wedding at Whitford Country Club 10/14/23 and could not have been happier with the event. Our wedding coordinator Dawn was amazing. Throughout the planning process she was accommodating and flexible with meetings and tastings, working around our schedule as my daughter was living out of town. Her attention to detail was meticulous, incorporating our input at every step along the way. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, which was plentiful and delicious. In addition, we had to switch from the planned outdoor ceremony to indoors on 2 days notice based on a rainy forecast, and the transition was seamless with a beautiful set up for the ceremony, thanks to Dawn and her staff's very hard work being the scenes. The evening was everything we all had hoped for and I would highly recommend this venue.”

“First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“I was so pleased when I found out the Indigo would be opening just in time for our wedding! Originally I planned to just settle for the old standard Hotel Warner - which is fine, but pretty worn. Linda, who's an absolute dream, helped me setup the block for our guests. I loved being able to offer both options for our out-of-town guests. The whole staff was extra sweet and helpful in coordinating both holding my overnight bag and handing out our welcome bags too. After the big day was over, my husband and I were really delighted to spend our honeymoon night there. We were too tired to even drink the special champagne they left us in the room! Our room was clean, stately, and really just perfect. Everyone else in the wedding party raved about the lobby decor & the fresh quality of the rooms. 10/10! Here's a photo of us walking in after the afterparty at Square Bar - highly recommend that too!”

The space itself is gorgeous, giving us the elegant garden and estate wedding vibe we were going for. The grounds are beautifully maintained and provides a stunning backdrop for ceremony and photos. What really sold us is their sustainability and conservation initiatives. We are so grateful to Shelly and the Welkinweir team for helping us work towards making our special day truly unforgettable.”

“We had the BEST experience with having our wedding here. The venue itself is absolutely stunning and there are so many great options for ceremony spaces. It is also the perfect venue for any type of weather - rain or shine there is no stressing about your wedding day. The getting ready bridal suite was so spacious and beautiful. Dawn and Brian are the nicest people and their staff was exceptional. Having the “prop shop” is such a plus - we live out of state and didn’t have to worry about buying and bringing in all of our decor and furniture because it is all there for you! This venue is so organized with the planning process and know exactly how to make your day run smoothly. Every one of our guests commented on how beautiful the property and landscaping was. Having their preferred vendors list was also so nice because each vendor already knew how to best set up for the space. Communication with each person at this venue is prompt and they truly want to help you make your day happen the way you want it to. I am so grateful we chose to get married at Stoltzfus and HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone considering. Best choice we made!!”

“We got married at the Philander Chase Knox Estate on September 4, 2026, after a two-year engagement, and our wedding was truly worth the wait. We don’t have anything but amazing things to say about our experience from start to finish. We worked primarily with John Alexander throughout our planning process, and he was incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to work with. He answered all of our questions and never once made us feel like we were a bother. He truly made our planning experience feel seamless. John was also extremely informative and upfront about all costs and packages, which we really appreciated. We toured quite a few local venues before making our decision, but the moment we walked through PCK, we knew it was the venue for us. Growing up next to Valley Forge Park, I instantly felt a connection to the house and grounds. You can feel the rich history the moment you walk in, and the property provides such a unique and beautiful backdrop for a wedding. A big factor in choosing our venue was my sister, who has multiple severe food allergies. It was extremely important to me that the venue could guarantee a safe food preparation area and that my sister would feel comfortable and confident eating the food at our wedding. This was one of the very first questions I asked every catering company we spoke to during our venue search. Honestly, most venues gave us a “grey area” answer about whether they could safely accommodate her. One catering company even suggested that she “bring her own meal,” which was incredibly discouraging to hear. That all changed when we asked John the same question. I was expecting another uncertain answer, but John assured us with absolute certainty that it was not a grey area. He explained that they could prepare her meals separately and safely, and they absolutely delivered on that promise. They even made my sister her own plate of appetizer mini cheesesteaks that were completely free of soy protein. They were extremely careful and cautious with all of our guests who had food allergies and dietary restrictions. If you are on the venue hunt and have food allergies or special dietary accommodations to consider, I cannot recommend PCK and Robert Ryan enough. They truly took our concerns seriously and gave us complete peace of mind on such an important day. Brianna was our “day-of coordinator,” and we met her for the first time at our two-week check-in meeting before the wedding. From the moment I met her, I knew we were in good hands. She is incredibly helpful, efficient, and professional. She accommodated all of our requests, kept everything running smoothly, and always made sure my husband and I had food and a drink in front of us. She truly made the entire day feel effortless. As a more “Type A bride” , being able to put my complete trust in Brianna was priceless. I was able to let go, enjoy my wedding day, and have complete faith that everything was being handled behind the scenes. Bri is truly amazing at what she does! All of our guests raved about the venue, with many telling us it was the best wedding they had ever attended. My husband and I would have to agree. :) Thank you to John, Brianna, Robert Ryan, and all of the staff and people working behind the scenes who helped make our wedding day everything we dreamed it would be. Our fairytale wedding was truly worth the wait, and we cannot recommend the Philander Chase Knox Estate enough to anyone beginning their wedding venue search.”

“When we were searching for a venue, we wanted something a bit different. I didn't want just some huge empty hall and most importantly, the food needed to be the star of the show. Most venues we visited were so contract heavy and filled with stipulations of what we CAN'T do and we assumed it was normal. That is until we met Jeff over at The Kimberton Inn. He was the first person that a) wasn't in a rush b) didn't push us into spending more then we had c) asked us what WE wanted. This man was so laid back and a breath of fresh air. We told him what we wanted and he told us how they could make it happen. The Kimberton Inn is stunning with rustic warm vibes and truly beautiful landscape outside for photo ops. The food is also incredible. We have all had a dry wedding chicken and potato option before and as a chef, I wanted something worth paying for, a dinner to remember if you will. They delivered. Full size portions of massive crab cakes, lamb chops, duck, salmon and an impressive cocktail hour with great apps and drinks. The service was top notch. Jeff worked with us from start to finish and was there through the whole reception. Jeff even went out of his way to ensure my disabled mother was comfortable and could get where she needed. (Something I will always remember as it was so important to me and as a bride, your attention is pulled everywhere at all times.) I highly recommend The Kimberton Inn. Set up a meeting.”
