They were helpful and provided amazing food (the best Peruvian food in California and possible the entire US in my opinion). Their food has a homemade taste to it but also has an elevated feel to it. “What a wonderful day and a more awesome team to work with :) Abbey catering was beyond amazing and blew our expectations! From the start Will, who signed us up, was most helpful and really knew his information. We clicked instantly and it was such a pleasure to talk with him and meet him in person. We signed up for the tasting before signing with Abbey Catering and that was such a great experience. We got to meet Will in person and there was so much food to try and luckily bring home. After meeting Will we really had a great feeling and signed up within that week. The food was incredible at the tasting, and it was hard choosing which entrée and hours d’oeuvres to choose from since everything was so good. Chuck, our wedding coordinator, was beyond great and so helpful. He was such an asset to have on our side and really made the day go smooth. He was also so friendly and great to work with. We really felt like we made friends with our Abbey team. There were absolutely no hiccups whatsoever and I was so calm the whole day. David, our catering lead, was another amazing team member. He was right there to offer us food first and make sure we had enough of our share. The rest of the catering team always made us a priority too and I was very hungry after the ceremony in between pictures so that was so great. We ordered the following for tray passed hors d’oeuvres: petite beef wellington, wild mushroom arancini, bruschetta, and bacon wrapped stuffed dates. We opted for the dual entrée of the boneless short ribs, and the panko-herb crusted chicken with vegetables and the truffle smashed potatoes. All were so good and I wish I could eat them all again. Our guests could not stop raving about the food. They even made dietary restriction meals for several of our guests, and they said it was one of the best vegan/vegetarian meals they have ever had. We really were impressed with the food and so glad we went with Abbey as that was important for us to have really good tasting food. We opted for the whole package with their vendors for flowers, DJ, photographer, and cake. Best decision ever!!! We had Emerald and Ivy for the florist and my goodness Mishele, and the Abbey team put together exactly what I pictured in my mind! Such beautiful flowers and we rented bud vases and candles from her. DJ Abel from the Wedding Entertainment Collective was beyond amazing! He played our songs and knew the vibes we were going for. The dance floor was a hit, and our guests were dancing the whole night. Everyone was telling us the DJ was so good! Misha, our photographer, was amazing and made us feel so comfortable. The pictures are so beautiful! The cake and mini cupcakes from Sugar Bears Sweet Provisions were out of this world! I’m so glad we saved our wedding cake because we ate it the next day. Our guests loved the mini cupcakes too and we even had enough to give out at treats and take home. We really are so grateful we decided to go with Abbey catering. They really went above and beyond. The whole team, Will, Chuck, David, and the caterers were 10 out of 10 Thank you so much and to the Abbey vendors for making our day even more special!”

Would book them again. I do wish they had better tech/communication methods other than email and phone call, but it didn’t impact their service or quality on the day of, which is all that matters.”

“We hired Optimum Catering for a Marine reunion in Oceanside with roughly 120 guests, and the experience turned out great. Lisa was our primary contact and she was very easy to work with from the beginning. Communication was quick, clear and straightforward, which made the planning process simple. Their team took care of the full setup including tables, chairs and the general layout, so we did not have to deal with any of the logistics. Everything arrived on schedule and was arranged exactly the way we had discussed beforehand. The food was very good, there was plenty for everyone and the pricing felt reasonable considering the size of the group and the amount of work involved. The staff was professional but also relaxed, which fit the casual reunion atmosphere perfectly. They were attentive when needed but never in the way. “We could not have been happier with the service we received from Buckboard as the catering provider for our wedding. Right from the initial meeting Ashley, (Buckboard’s sales manager) gave us a personalized introduction and very friendly tasting. It was clear from this initial interaction that she cared more about our experience and less about just becoming one of their customers. The food was/is absolutely delicious. Every single item was cooked perfectly, and it was clear from the initial tasting that their chefs and cooks take genuine pride in cooking high quality meals that do not come off as “mass produced” like a number of other caterers in the area. We have lost count of the number of guests who told us during and after the meal that it was by far the best food they’ve ever had at a wedding, and this is reflective of the company as a whole. Ashley and JP (the Chief Operating Officer) were both present during the planning process, and worked with us directly to determine a menu that would be both wonderful for the guests as well as within our budget. When dietary restrictions were presented, Ashley and her team made the accommodations easy and care free, and provided options that were also delicious. She and her staff were so friendly and professional on the day-of that a number of guests went out of their way to comment on the crew. “Selecting a caterer for our wedding was a very daunting task. So many caterers to choose from, all at different price levels and various offerings. After interviewing a handful of companies, we decided to go with the team at Krafted Culture. From the beginning Chef Cooper was attentive to our vision, and our budget. He helped guide us along the path from beginning to our wedding day. Chef Cooper was always punctual, reliable, respectful and honest. He truly had our best interests at heart. At our tasting, we knew we had made the right choice. The food was phenomenal. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the entire layout of our wedding changed 4 days prior to the big day. Chef Cooper was very instrumental in collaborating with our wedding coordinator and made sure that the changes would not affect his service. On the day of Chef and his team were on time, ready to work and pleasant with our guests.
