John was on top of it, thoughtful, meticulous, and intentional throughout the entire planning process and all the way through the very last song of the night. We had a few “secret” songs that were kept from the bride and he held them close, ensuring there was no slip until the perfect moment. We also asked for specific moments of the songs to be played, down to a few seconds and John delivered every single time. Finally, we also asked for a wide range of genres throughout the reception- from oldies, to modern day pop, to old school country. Once again, John killed it and we had guests coming up to us all night saying how amazing he was. I don’t think there was ever a single moment where folks weren’t up and dancing! On top of his talent, it was also upwards of 90 degrees and fully outdoors. Thank you Black Tie Entertainment and thank you, especially, to John! The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Having a band play our Northern Virginia wedding was very important to us. We found Bachelor Boys on Instagram and relished their vibe from the get-go. They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

“I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

The weddings were different environments and a different crowd, but Jeremy created the perfect atmosphere for both. He was completely stress free to work with, gave good insight and recommendations on song choice where my wife and I had no strong ideas, and most importantly the dance floor was non-stop fun all night. I can’t recommend this business enough, you won’t regret it!!”

“DJ Neal was an amazing choice for our recent wedding at the Rust Manor House in Leesburg, VA. From the beginning of the wedding process, DJ Neal was friendly, communicative, and thoughtful. He took into consideration some of our favorite artists and curated a wonderful playlist for our wedding day (i.e., ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). We had quite a unique request being “early 2000s nostalgia” for the reception and he delivered! During couples portraits before the ceremony, I remember telling people how much I enjoyed the music he was playing. Additionally, during our reception in the outdoor tent, everyone was out of their seat and on the dance floor. As someone who considers themselves a homebody, he really brought me and my (now) husband out of our shells and created such a fun energy. The transitions between songs were so smooth and well executed. Additionally, he was a wonderful and well-spoken MC for our event. We really appreciated him for being part of our big day! Thank you so much, DJ Neal, I can’t wait to continue telling all of my friends and family members how amazing you were.”

“DJ Anthony with Phil Phest was extremely invested in us having a good time. He was able to mix in almost all of the songs I had mentioned even though some were in another language and he had not worked with them before. His MC skills are on point, getting the party amped up. People were dancing till the last song. He gave great advice on timing for father-daughter/planned dances and helped make sure the tunes were cut in/out at just the right time.”

DJ Ant Boogie is not one of them. He was so nice and so patient and professional with us during the planning, and an absolute joy to work with during the actual wedding. We had such little direction for him and gave the most vague descriptions of our friends and ourselves and the general vibe and he crafted the most perfect wedding playlist I have ever heard. All night people were complimenting us on our amazing song choices (all DJ ant boogie) and the dance floor was alive literally all night. He also did such a wonderful job with all of our special requests and announcements and all the “scripted wedding stuff” that happens during a wedding.
