“We couldn't be happier with Marty at our recent wedding! From start to finish, he exceeded our expectations in every way. First and foremost, his attention to detail is amazing -- he noticed a discrepancy between the couple introduction song that we had put in the Vibo app versus what our day of coordinator had on her wedding timeline. He then reached out to the day of coordinator to figure out which song was correct. He also took the time to understand what we were looking for for our cocktail hour and wedding reception. He reached out many times prior to our wedding to check in with us and make sure that all of our questions were answered. It was clear that he genuinely cares about providing a memorable experience. Marty is also flexible. Originally the plan was for our dance floor to be outside. However, due to a heat wave we ended up deciding to move the dance floor inside. Marty was able to easily accommodate this request and he also offered to put speakers outside so guests who were out on the deck would still be able to hear the music. We also recommend going with the up-lighting. He did a great job setting up the lights. The lights actually change colors and really change the vibe of the reception room once the party gets started! The live music he delivered during cocktail hour was a standout of the night. We had so many compliments from guests about his cocktail hour performance. Another aspect that truly set Marty apart was his willingness to go above and beyond. Not only did he do a great job reading the vibe of the room in order to keep the dance floor lively, but at one point he also helped with cleaning up dinner plates. He showed a level of dedication and professionalism that's rare to find. Marty played a crucial role in making our wedding a success. We highly recommend him for any occasion!”

We never worried about anything and knew he was on it. For our first dance song, we really wanted to use “Buy Dirt” but couldn’t find a slower version we liked. Without us even asking, he asked his friend Cody Daniel to record a version that was PERFECT for us because he knew we loved his music. Thank you so much Cody! On the wedding day, Randy was dressed to perfection and so many guests noticed (even the cool cuff links!). The music was on point all night and the dance floor was completely full! “It was meant to be for us to have Sam be the DJ at our nerdy chic wedding. On a sheer whim, we emailed him when it was clear our original plan of "oh we'll just make a few playlists" was absolutely not going to happen. Only 6 weeks out, and he was free on our date *and* had played the venue before! Fast-tracked our consult meetings, worked with us on our timeline for our very short ceremony and reception and overall had great tips and tricks. There were one or two moments during the wedding that were maybe hiccups (including me kicking the plugs out!) but he rolled with it, we rolled with it. He's so personable, everyone loved him - we're all transplants from NJ/ NY and turns out he's practically related to at least one of my family. For sure, would recommend him!”

The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well.
