“A few things that stood out the most about Isaac were how responsive he was, how he was able to accommodate to our budget, and how he took pictures from angles and views that turned out great on the photos. As a couple with demanding careers, I much appreciated how quickly Isaac was with replying to emails. We had a pretty tight budget, and Isaac was able to offer us a package that landed pretty close to our budget and only had the items that we needed the most (mini engagement photoshoot for the website and wedding day). Our ask for him was to get some candid shots as we feel pretty awkward in front of the camera. I personally think that the wedding day pictures came out more naturally because of the setting being surrounded with friends and families, and Isaac and Sushen did a great job capturing the candid moments beautifully. Isaac even had an idea for me to pose by climbing up a wooden stair ladder for a shot that I honestly wasn't sure how it was going to turn out while doing it, but it ended up turning out beautiful and magazine-like in addition to other ones that he asked us to pose for. Isaac put together a behind the scenes video that also showed the reactions of guests to our photo place cards before we had entered the reception area, and this was lovely in that we got to see our guests' reactions that we weren't able to see.”

“LONG REVIEW but PLEASE read it all! Canyon and Pine are worth the booking!!! TLDR: Book Canyon and Pine if you want someone reliable, capable, and CRAZY talented (especially if you are an introvert!!). Emma SAVED our wedding from being ruined by a coordinator. For context, I have been photographing portraits for 10 years and have photographed two weddings. There's a LOT that goes into both weddings and good photos so we (I, haha!) were really picky when choosing a wedding photographer. From the moment we first connected with the team at Canyon & Pine, we knew we were in good hands. We were nervous about having photos taken but their friendly, cooperative, and personalized approach put us at ease throughout the entire wedding planning process. From day one, we felt incredibly comfortable coming to Emma with any and all concerns, questions, and ideas. When you book with Canyon & Pine, you really are booking quality artistic storytelling. The personable, humorous, and down to Earth team shown on their website is exactly what you get in person. We chose to book a package which included an engagement session in which Emma went above and beyond providing outfit suggestions, reminders, and other helpful guides to make our engagement session memorable and beautiful. She then drove out FIVE HOURS to meet us at sunset in Oklahoma and capture the most beautiful photos on top of a whole mountain! My husband and I are NOT camera people, I cannot stress how comfortable Emma made these two introverts. I also did bridals with Emma. Trust me when I tell you NOBODY will make you feel more comfortable than she does. I was going through some major health issues at the time of my bridal portraits and just didn't feel or fully look like myself. Emma found a way to make me look stunning. -- I'm really proud of these photos and will show them to every and anyone who asks (or not, haha!). She truly helped me feel beautiful in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Canyon & Pine's thoughtful and personable demeanor helped us stay calm and focused on enjoying the moment. The quality of their work was absolute perfection - they captured every detail with incredible precision. Nothing was overlooked and they took great care to make sure every single feeling was highlighted throughout the day (and there were a lot!). Special and priceless moments were constantly caught on camera despite the craziness of the day. On our day, there was a significant issue with the coordinator that threatened to derail the whole wedding. Emma stepped in and saved the day, ensuring our wedding ran smoothly and playing the part of coordinator and photographer. She went above and beyond, considering every last detail and helping us have fun during incredibly stressful moments. Because of Canyon and Pine, we can now look back on our wedding day and see it as beautiful, touching, memorable, and unforgettable instead of the disaster it surely would have been without Emma's help and knowledge. We will be booking Canyon & Pine for all of our future photography needs, from family photos to pregnancy announcements. “TLDR: I could not have picked a better photographer and I truly believe that Annie would be perfect for absolutely anyone. Her energy is infectious in a way that really brings up your excitement levels but also keeps your anxiety down. My husband is very introverted and was really worried about photos, but she kept him comfortable and in his element in a way I truly don’t believe anyone else would have. As for myself, I felt beautiful and gorgeous the entire time because of her and her partner. For the work she did and the amount of effort she puts into our photos, I believe her prices are incredibly fair. If anything, she’s undercutting herself. I will absolutely be recommending Annie to anyone and everyone. Now for the longer part of the review! We got married on May 30th, 2024 and we were doing our wedding a little differently. Instead of doing private vows or doing our vows at the ceremony, we did our vows at our rehearsal dinner. That is also when we allowed friends and family to come up and say something. The reason we did this route is because my husband is introverted and not a public speaker while I am the complete opposite. He also really wanted to see my walk down the aisle as our first look instead of a private look. Me, on the other hand, wanted at least our family and close friends to witness our vows. So we compromised! On top of it being two separate days, I was very adamant that I wanted two photographers along with wanting to capture the little things, such as my grandparents holding hands or our friends doing silly things at a table. I don’t mind staged photos, but I really wanted more natural focused shots. It was surprisingly difficult to find someone who was able to both days and within our price range. When we stumbled upon Annie, it felt like fate. She was so easy to figure things out with. Instead of an engagement photo session, she was happy to do our rehearsal dinner instead. She was there for any questions I had and the forms she had us fill out were super detailed! It really helped getting our thoughts together and deciding what was most important for our wedding. The day before the wedding, she vibed so well with everyone at the rehearsal dinner. She even got perfect photos of our dogs, who are honestly like our children. The day of the wedding, Annie and her second photographer (who I’ve completely blanked on the name, my fault for taking so long to write a review!) were amazing. Every single one of our friends had compliments for them and just LOVED their energy. Annie kept me calm and collected while the second was fully invested in my husband. I don’t think the wedding would have gone as smoothly without those two. The photos I received back? Better than I could ever dream of. Truly. They got beautiful shots of my grandparents dancing, my dad talking to one of his nephews, his mom talking with his brother. Just candid shots that looked real and natural. I am unbelievably so happy with Annie and the work she put in for us. Photographs are one of the most important things for me at our wedding and she truly blew it out of the park.We thank her for all her work from the bottom of our hearts and will always cherish the memories she gave us.”
