Hummingbird Floral Studio
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Baton Rouge, LA
  • Starts at $5,500

Wisconsin born, Michigan raised, Annmarie is from a military family who was stationed in Louisiana and loved it so much they decided not to leave! Annmarie has been a wedding and event florist since 2013, designing events from Lake Charles to New Orleans. Whimsical, garden style arrangements are her jam and she currently lives in Baton Rouge with her husband and two dogs.

Hummingbird Floral Studio was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. Their communication was always timely, kind, and flexible, which made the planning process seamless. The quality of their work was truly beautiful. They helped create a charming atmosphere with perfect floral colors that complemented our wedding theme beautifully. Annmarie, in particular, was wonderful to work with and demonstrated a clear talent for her craft. I would highly recommend Hummingbird Floral Studio to any couple looking for a talented, helpful, and dedicated wedding florist.

House of Redd's Event Design Atelier, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA

House of Redd's Event Design Atelier, LLC is an Event Planning and Floral & Decor Design Company located in Louisiana in additional to being part of the destination industry. We have been blissfully part of many successful events during our 21 years in business. Our vision for celebrants is to provide each with "A Design Experience". From the initial intake to the final creation, celebrants can expect our full attention to detail and our goal of creating their dream event.

Ms. Tonga is a dream to work with. I gave her the brief “Terracotta theme but not very picky about the specific flowers; Organic and whimsical vibe,” and she made magic. Her rates are very reasonable, which allowed me to get everything I wanted. The florals were absolutely beautiful, she was early at the venue for setup, and she was an absolute joy to work with. She has the warmest personality and is a consummate professional – she reached out to the venue directly as needed in order to make sure that the décor would fit properly. We got so many compliments on the florals at our wedding, and it fit our fall/terracotta theme perfectly. Just go ahead and book her if you’re considering it!

Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (101 reviews)
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
This was my second time using Flower Moxie for wedding flowers (first for our daughter, and now for her college roommate). Both experiences were wonderful…it’s definitely a labor of love, but Flower Moxie had everything I needed in terms of supplies and education to make the process smooth and truly enjoyable for this wannabe florist! We had one bunch of lisianthus that got crushed in transport. Joe Ramos from Customer Support responded to our claims email very quickly and had an option for us to pick up replacement flowers from a wholesaler in our area. When we were unable to make that happen, Flower Moxie fully refunded the bride, no questions asked. I’ll be doing wedding flowers for another of my daughter’s friends this spring using Flower Moxie, and I can’t wait!

The Faux Bouquets
Rating: 5.0 (43 reviews)
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
I recently had the pleasure of working with The Faux Bouquets for my wedding and couldn't be happier with their service. Their communication through email was great - they were fast, reliable, and very helpful in answering all of my questions. The faux flowers they provided looked and photographed just as if they were real, and the final product was stunning. I would highly recommend The Faux Bouquets to any couple looking for beautiful, high-quality floral arrangements for their wedding.

My husband and I were incredibly impressed and absolutely blown away by the floral arrangements put together by Poppin Peonies for our wedding day! We wanted stunning fall colors and 'cozy' vibes and that is exactly what we got! Pretty much all of our guests commented that the flowers were beyond gorgeous and really tied everything together decor-wise. Perhaps most incredible was the mantle piece, which was this dreamy cascade of flowers and greenery installed around the fireplace that was the focal point for both our ceremony and reception. It was more than I had hoped for or expected - simply breathtaking! Poppin Peonies really went above and beyond to make our day perfect! I highly recommend!

After the global zombie apocalypse, in the early winter of '24, I heeded the call, picked up my shovel and shotgun and headed out to the fields. Protecting this wide world from the pestilence that is the zombie flower is no small feat, but I've learned to survive. I've made it my mission to hunt these jokers down, wrangle them together, and to serve to you dead off the proverbial platter. In these post-apocalyptic times, the zombie flowers make for excellent mantle trophies, but some have said they make awesome wedding bouquets. Whatever your cup of tea, these zombie flowers are one of a kind prepared just for you.

The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals
Rating: 5.0 (3 reviews)
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Baton Rouge, LA for additional fees

Wedding florals shouldn't force you to choose between beautiful and affordable. I've watched too many couples fall in love with a Pinterest board, then feel deflated by the quote that comes with it. That's not how I work. I bring both professional and academic training to every arrangement. I studied fine arts at the University of Pennsylvania, an Ivy League university, and I apply that same eye for color, composition, and detail to every bouquet, centerpiece, and installation. Your florals aren't just decorations to me. They're a work of art, built specifically for your day.

I was referred to The Ivy League Wedding Studio Florals by a friend who used them for her wedding. They can definitely make very unique table centerpieces if you are into that. They also offered conventional choices as well. The point is they offered options which is exactly what I needed in a florist.
