House of Redd's Event Design Atelier, LLC
Rating: 5.0 (2 reviews)
Prairieville, LA
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Louisiana

House of Redd's Event Design Atelier, LLC is an Event Planning and Floral & Decor Design Company located in Louisiana in additional to being part of the destination industry. We have been blissfully part of many successful events during our 21 years in business. Our vision for celebrants is to provide each with "A Design Experience". From the initial intake to the final creation, celebrants can expect our full attention to detail and our goal of creating their dream event.

Ms. Tonga is a dream to work with. I gave her the brief “Terracotta theme but not very picky about the specific flowers; Organic and whimsical vibe,” and she made magic. Her rates are very reasonable, which allowed me to get everything I wanted. The florals were absolutely beautiful, she was early at the venue for setup, and she was an absolute joy to work with. She has the warmest personality and is a consummate professional – she reached out to the venue directly as needed in order to make sure that the décor would fit properly. We got so many compliments on the florals at our wedding, and it fit our fall/terracotta theme perfectly. Just go ahead and book her if you’re considering it!

New Orleans, LA
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Louisiana

Bad Dog Farms is a specialty floral business rooted in Louisiana and California, where we grow unique, seasonal blooms using sustainable practices. Samantha is absolutely fantastic! Wonderful to work with, truly beautiful florals that are unique, and the most kind soul! She was one of the first people I saw on the big day right as the stress and chaos really began and she greeted me with the warmest hug and well wishes! Highly recommend! I loved the florals she created for us so much, that I splurged on something I did not anticipate I would ever want and overnighted my bouquet, my husband’s boutonnière, and the flat lay she left for the photographers to be preserved! Absolutely amazing - thank you, Samantha!

Beth's Flowers New Orleans wedding planners
Rating: 4.0 (1 review)
Metairie, LA
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Louisiana

Beth's Flowers is committed to offering only the finest floral arrangements and gifts, backed by service that is friendly and prompt. Family-owned and operated, Beth’s Flowers proudly serves the Metairie, New Orleans, Kenner, and Harahan area as well as many other southern Louisiana cities

Beth's Flowers in New Orleans was slightly disappointing for our wedding. Their communication style was unprofessional at times, primarily via email and a couple of texts, and they hounded me monthly for payments (after i told them twice that i preferred to pay in full the 60 days before ceremony as listed in their contract). The quality of their work was just fair - the flowers they provided were limited in variety and did not match the colors as well as their inspiration photos had suggested. Burgundy stock was supposed to be in the bouquets and it was not. Boutonnieres were pretty sad looking, esp for the groom. They would not let me use my own fabric/ribbion for wrapping the bouquet; didn't say why, just told me no. They only provided the basic flower needs for the event and did not go above and beyond to make our special day more beautiful. I would only recommend using them if you are on a strict budget, and if flowers are not of big concern for you.

Pick-a-Petal Floral Design
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
New Orleans, LA
  • Serves Louisiana

I take a grassroots approach to my arrangements by bringing in all levels of greens and blooms. My style emphasizes grace, movement and the delicate blending of colors that evoke images of the natural garden and uphold a sense of wild spontaneity. I love to express my talent in blending elements to produce an original, fresh look. My goal is to provide an unforgettable, fun & boutique experience for my clients.

communication with emily prior to was great. we did multiple zoom meetings to talk details beforehand. she brought in the bouquets early in the morning so that was my first look at things. i didn't love my bouquet (also didn't dislike or even hate it, was just underwhelmed.) this made me nervous for the venue flowers because that is where all of my hopes and dreams for this wedding lied. the bridesmaid and mother/MIL ones were really pretty though. so i held onto that...it was worth it!! emily had to shift gears the night before due to weather and go from a pre-built gazebo on the patio to making her own structure in our secondary space. i had a vision in my head and i did my best to express it. let me tell you, she understood the assignment!! i cannot express how stunningly perfect our venue flowers turned out. i was already emotional due to the moment but the alter arrangement would've made me cry either way! she took my vision of the ceremony space and made it a reality. the first time I got to see it was when i walked down the aisle. it was absolutely breathtaking. the arch was everything i had imaged and the aisle flowers were so beautiful. i stayed and took extra photos with it afterward because i loved it so much. my only negative was we had talked about doing a cake topper that was reminiscent of my parents' topper (i had send a picture) and we didn't get that. i don't know exactly what happened but i totally understand something that small getting overlooked when we had a floral order the size that we did, it was just a little bit disappointing. it's such a small thing and everything else was so perfect that i couldn't take a whole star away over it. i would absolutely use her again!!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers
Rating: 4.9 (94 reviews)
Oklahoma City, OK
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Louisiana

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
We used the “Full Monty” package for our wedding and DIY-ed all our florals. Our florist, Hattie, did a great job listening to our vision and responded to all of our questions quickly! We explored options together, and she was able to help us get so much more than we would have with a florist and with the exact color palette we were looking at. Neither of us are great at design/DIY, but we felt very supported by the plethora of tutorials, recipes, and videos to create our flowers. With our florals, we made 6 pillar arrangements, 2 bridal bouquets, 8 bridesmaid bouquets, 3 corsages, a boutonniere, 2 medium centerpieces, and close to 100 bud vases. My maid of honor made my bridal bouquet, which made it even more special than it would have if a florist had made it. The flowers arrived at our AirBnb without any issues, and we lost barely any florals! I will say if DIY-ing flowers, whether with Flower Moxie or not, make sure you have people to help - especially with getting the florals out of the wrapping, in buckets, and cutting stems. We had our crews help, and it still looked overwhelming at first, so I can see how it can be stressful. We had our day-of-coordinator set everything up florals-wise on our wedding day, and everything looked GORGEOUS. If you have the people to help and are looking for more florals for less money, we would definitely recommend DIY-ing with flower moxie

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Holy moly!! Working with Brittany at The Faux Bouquets was a breeze, and our flowers looked remarkable -- and real! Nobody even believed me that the flowers were silk because they looked so legit. I would highly recommend her for any future events. And the best part is that we were able to repurpose the flowers seamlessly from ceremony to reception!

I had a wonderful experience working with the team at Pick A Bloom-Preserved & Dried Florist. They were easy to communicate with and listened exceptionally well to my unique needs after my mom passed away. The quality of their work and attention to small details was lovely. They created a special memorial for my mom by turning her corsage into an ornament that we could display at the wedding. The team sent photos throughout the creation process and everything arrived early, which helped make our special day run smoothly. I'm so grateful for their thoughtful service and beautiful florals.
