Angel Ormand Photography
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
Tucson, AZ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $900

I am a Tucson native, military wife and momma. I met my husband here in Tucson, then, we got married and moved to England for a year! Then, after that, we moved to Italy for 5 years, then to Las Vegas for a year, then back here to be close to family. I love to travel, explore, read, go thrifting, antiquing, love doing DIY projects, and I love getting creative for spontaneous photoshoots! My style is warm, moody and bold, candid/documentary and I absolutely love black and white photos! I've done photography for about 10 years for myself but I love to capture beautiful moments for others and share how beautiful I find things behind the lens.

Angel Ormand Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our engagement photos and I am excited to have her do our wedding. From the very first interaction, Angel was punctual, professional and friendly. Her communication style put us at ease and made the entire process seamless. We were thrilled with the stunning engagement photos she took of us in downtown Tucson, and we can't wait to see how the wedding photos turn out. Angel has a wonderful eye and photo style that we know will make our wedding day feel even more special. She is a joy to work with and we highly recommend her services to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photographer.

Original Weddings Photo & Video is a team of EMMY award winning storytellers. Our photography and videography packages are tailored to you, customizable and perfect for every wedding. We offer engagement photography, wedding photos, highlight films, wedding coverage and more.

Awarded Best of Zola
Our wedding was filled with whimsy and charm - Original Weddings was able to capture that energy in video and film, so we can revisit that experience for a lifetime. Thank you for your attention to detail and level of care - we are overjoyed with the results! EXPERIENCE - We interviewed a few photography companies to compare prices, offerings, and aesthetic appeal; we ultimately decided on OW because they offered the best rates for videography and photography packages. From the beginning, the customer experience was favorable with multiple opportunities for touchpoints and planning. Their pricing is transparent and straight-forward; the add-ons will be tempting, and it will cost you. However, we appreciated that our interactions with the office staff weren't sales driven; they shared the options for add-ons without it being pushy. All communication and planning details are handled through a personalized portal and its the easiest way to ask questions and relay changes to the photography team. If you are someone that is not particularly organized, you'll love this feature and the imbedded questionnaires. They'll serve as a guide to crafting the look, identifying highlights to be captured, and a space for notes to the team working with you on the day of. During the wedding day, everything went smoothly and everyone was professional and personable. Their presence didn't feel intrusive and they expertly worked around our timeline to maximize efficiency. RESULTS - Our gallery was a fantastic mix of curated moments and candid memories. Each cluster of photos creates a timestamp throughout the day and it was a welcome reminder of all the small details of the wedding that can be easily missed among the shuffle of it all. In our package we stuck with 8 hours of photography and videography; electing afterwards to request the raw footage for an additional charge. I believe the quality of the photos and videos is phenomenal for the price - something similar may be double the price, especially if you're looking for more aesthetic/Instagramish vibe - we went traditional and it exceeded our expectations. SHOUTOUTS - I have to give special kudos to the team that worked directly with us. For planning and logistics, Sarah and Gabriella were attentive and quick to respond to questions. Sarah was very sweet and made our wedding feel like a priority and not just one of many they're juggling. I appreciate her collaboration on capturing the specifics to ensure even the smallest details were relayed to the team; and the results speak for themselves. The true heroes of the day were Pricilla, Sanaa, and Collin; they were the team tasked with documenting the magic of the day in a fashion that captured our essence as a couple. They quickly became a highlight of the experience - we hit it off immediately and their energy was uplifting and reassuring. We are eternally grateful for their patience with our families and the lighthearted approach they took to dealing with grumpier relatives. Overall, it was a beautiful day, and we are overjoyed to have been paired with this team because they did a phenomenal job.

Deeply passionate about couples celebrating their love their way, Daniela advocates for wedding days that feel true to who you are—filled with what brings you joy, and free of anything that doesn’t. She honed her craft at the San Francisco Art Institute, where she developed a distinctive style that merges fine-art composition with a candid, documentary approach. The result? Honest, artful imagery that tells your story exactly as it felt.

Awarded Best of Zola
My partner and I eloped last weekend at SF City Hall and just opened our sneak peek of Dani's coverage of the day... The photos are beautiful and so authentic to us as a couple. She did an incredible job and we are so happy that we were able to work with her. Throughout the process, Dani was very communicative and available to answer all of our questions. She also took the time to get to know each of us individually, our story as a couple, and our goals/hopes for the day which I think really contributed to her nailing the vibe we were going for. She helped us brainstorm how to get the most out of our 3-hour shoot time and we were able to get in an impressive amount of shots in two different locations without feeling rushed or stressed. Throughout the shoot, she did a great job balancing directing us with letting us just exist together, which resulted in really natural looking photos of us that don't have an overly-posed look. But she definitely got both of our good sides lol. She also handled a high-traffic wedding day at SF City Hall with grace-- there were lots of couples getting married at the same time and it took some coordinating to get the best shots, but she made it happen! Dani is warm, respectful and kind and brought exactly the kind of energy we needed to our wedding day! It goes without saying, but I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to commemorate their special day.

Debra and her partner do incredible work, they were on time and even worked well with any wedding day hiccups. When I received my wedding photos back I was in awe, but Debra herself is so kind and you can tell she actually cares about her clients. I had a completely different vendor drop out last minute and she even tried to help me find a replacement even tho that wasn’t her job. I’d hire her again just based off her care to her clients. You can tell she has a true passion and her work speaks for itself. I could go on but I only get 50 characters. Book her.

But hey, don't let my current location or specialties prevent you from reaching out, I am always eager to travel and experience new places and people.

Morgan is an exceptional photographer with so much talent and care for her craft. From day one, she was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and organized. Working with her was so easy and straightforward. She told us exactly what she needed from us, and she was always prompt with her communication. We loved working with Morgan for so many reasons, but her thoughtfulness, sincerity, and flexibility are particular memorable. Especially with all the chaos that comes with the wedding, it was refreshing to have Morgan be in charge of our photos, because she kept a cool demeanor and was easy going, but prescriptive. Beyond her professionalism and personality, my family, friends, and I are absolutely stunned by how beautiful our photos came out. The photos were creative while maintaining timeless elegance. Morgan's expertise with outdoor photography was perfect for our venue because we had a lot of natural sunlight come through our space since we had a lot of windows. I truly cannot express how thankful I am that Morgan was our photographer. I wish we could have another vent just to have her do more photography for us! Her turn around time was extremely reasonable as well!

Malachi was phenomenal. Choosing him for our adventure elopement/micro wedding ended up being far more meaningful than simply hiring a photographer (though he’s an extraordinarily gifted one). At first, his photos drew us in (especially his breathtaking night sky star shots, one of his specialties). But what sealed the deal was his professionalism, warmth, kindness, and overall expertise. It was immediately clear that working with him would ensure the wedding experience we had always dreamed of. His photos are nothing short of spectacular. We honestly doubted ours could live up to the stunning examples he shared, yet somehow he managed to make ours even more incredible. From starry night portraits to vast landscapes, intimate candid moments, and detailed close-ups, he’s a true master of his art. In every environment he has a creative vision, and following it allows him to capture moments that feel both authentic and magical. And even in rugged locations, he ensures you feel safe. From our first Zoom chat to planning meetings and emails along the way, his communication was consistently clear, timely, and helpful. His website, client portal, and custom PDF guides are beautifully designed and immensely useful. Despite a packed travel calendar, he always made time for quick calls when we needed to go over plans or ask questions. He strikes the perfect balance, offering direction when you want it but also stepping back to let you take the lead when you prefer. A big part of what makes his process so seamless is how intentional it is. We filled out several fun and thoughtful questionnaires that helped all of us clarify the intended vision for our day. Afterward, he sent a personalized location list tailored to our preferences. From this, we selected the perfect ceremony spot and a few additional photo locations. One of Malachi’s greatest strengths is his deep familiarity with the outdoors and his ability to uncover incredible, lesser-known locations for ceremonies and portraits. He’s constantly exploring and expanding his list of amazing spots so that every couple can craft a day that’s uniquely theirs. In our case, we wanted to visit several different landscapes over multiple days, including places accessible for our grandparents while still feeling remote and private, and Malachi made it all happen seamlessly. Above all though, his most valuable quality is simply who he is. Malachi is kind, easygoing, thoughtful, and genuinely fun to spend time with. For an elopement or intimate gathering, that matters so much. From the moment we met up with him in Utah, it felt like a friend had joined us, not just someone we’d hired. Traveling between photo spots and having him at our family dinner felt natural and fun. By the end of the day, every family member had connected with him. He’s a rare and wonderful person. One especially moving example was that during a short break between our morning and afternoon activities, he managed to fully edit and create a stunning preview slideshow/album of our photos from that day, which he surprised us with during pre-dinner happy hour. It brought us to tears and was such a great way to start the evening. In short: we recommend Malachi wholeheartedly and without any reservations. Whether you’re planning an adventure elopement, a micro wedding, or something entirely unique, he’ll make it happen and will surpass your every expectation. Working with him was an absolute joy. He’s truly one of a kind.

During our first intake call he was concise and walked through the package we were interested in. We were in awe by the timeless and beautiful photo gallery and videos we received that we’ll cherish for a lifetime. JayDee was also very responsive and easy to communicate with throughout the entire process. We’re so grateful to have our day captured so beautifully and highly recommend him and his team.

Hi, I'm Andrea, you can call me Drea. I am a travel wedding photographer with PNW roots. I will go anywhere the light is pretty and help every client have incredible wedding photos for years to come. I shoot hybrid film + digital for every wedding (yes, film is included), I turn galleries around faster than pretty much anyone in the industry, and I'll travel basically anywhere if the light is good and the people are great. You don't have to know what to do with your hands. You just have to show up.

Andrea Michelle Photography was an incredible choice for our wedding photography. From the very first interaction, their communication was easy, fast and simple - putting us at ease throughout the entire process. Their work was truly over the top, capturing so many lasting memories that we will cherish forever. We are thrilled with the final photos and cannot recommend Andrea Michelle Photography highly enough for any couple looking for an exceptional photography experience.

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. You'll find me often traveling, spending time in nature, collecting rocks and shopping for vintage t-shirts. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

Hey there! I’m Emma. I’m a sassy, sarcastic redhead and also a complete sap. To keep it short, I value relationships and experiences above nothing else (although some would say I have a serious West Elm and pizza addiction as well). I love reminiscing and think some of the best nights involve sharing a bottle of wine with old friends and laughing about all of our past adventures (while planning new ones too!). When I think about it, I know I was meant to be a wedding photographer - because I admire your relationship, understand how important this journey to marriage is for you two and understand the importance of documenting it.

Emma and her team were so amazing! Working with Emma before the wedding was seamless; she created a timeline that really helped with planning. We had Kayla and Almida for our photographers the day of and they were truly fantastic. So easy to work with and the pictures are so beautiful. Highly recommend!
