Mary Redente Photography
Rating: 5.0 (12 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,286
  • Serves Mesa, AZ

My gift with the camera is capturing the beauty of the moment. I love telling stories through pictures to keep memories alive, using the click of a shutter to make time stand still. I was inspired to become a photographer when I was young, before the days of digital cameras and cell phones. My eye for photography was first developed along side film, and this fascination set me off to see what I could do with light and lenses. The images you see today are the results of my long, passionate love affair with the camera, developed by life's most precious resource: time.

Awarded Best of Zola

Eivan's made our wedding day wonderful! Alexander Schmidt was our photographer, and our videographer was Noah. We got our pictures back sooner than expected, and they suited the exact style we had hoped for. Communication was great, photos were easy to access, and we were allowed free download for so many pictures! One family portrait had one person not looking, otherwise people were smiling and looking in everything. Many people commented on their professionalism as well as their kindness at the wedding. Thanks, Eivan's!

Nelson Cinematic
Rating: 5.0 (7 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Serves Mesa, AZ

Whether you are throwing a massive get together with all of your friends and family, or putting together a smaller, more intimate wedding day, no day will come close in comparison. I have always loved capturing weddings in a documentary fashion. I don't do super posed photos but instead I like to capture moments as they happen. I don't lay out intricate patterns with bobbins, ribbon and invitations, but instead photograph the small details in their true and simplistic form.

Awarded Best of Zola
From our first interaction, the team at Nelson Cinematic demonstrated an articulate, consistent, and personable communication style that put us at ease. Their work is truly beautiful, reflective of our relationship, and filled with passion. They openly communicated with us to understand our vision and were amazing to work with, helping us create the perfect wedding video and photos. Nelson Cinematic even drove to our location and collaborated seamlessly with our videographer, capturing all the special moments we'll cherish forever. We loved working with Elizabeth for our engagement photos and look forward to continuing to use her services for our family photos in the future.

Alyssa Campbell Photography
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Mesa, AZ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000

It’s not enough to simply take beautiful photos of people in epic scenery and bring forth their personalities. Nearly every photographer can do that these days. What I think matters most is being an mirror, a witness to people’s small and big moments in their lives and capturing those for them. I want to capture moments and photos that mean something to my clients throughout their lives- the photos they hang on their walls to bring them joy when they are going through a tough time and the photos that bring them comfort at the funerals of their loved ones.

Awarded Best of Zola
Alyssa has a wicked talent! She's also just an awesome person. You'll love the interaction AND your final photos. I easily recommend her to my couples who are looking for a real pro.

Briquelle Kayanne Photography
Rating: 5.0 (4 reviews)
Mesa, AZ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $3,500

When I’m not with my golden retriever, Rigley, (which is always, since I’m a work-from-home dog mom) adventuring to a new Arizona destination, finding my next favorite taco shop, or trying a new workout, you’ll probably find me in some pretty desert location third-wheeling with super-in-love couples and loving every second of capturing it!

I had a destination wedding so my go to on finding vendors was instagram. As soon as I stumbled on Briquelle’s page I just knew I wanted her take our photos! Her work is so beautiful and matched my aesthetic so well. We had never done any kind of professional photos together and she was great at telling us what to do, to get the best shots and not look awkward. She did our engagement and wedding photos and I’m so in love with all them! She also just started offering videography in her packages as well and we were so lucky to get in on it! It was so beautifully done and captured our day perfectly. Briquelle and her team are hands down the best!

Your wedding isn’t one dimensional, nor should your photos. I believe a great wedding gallery walk the balance between candid and editorial. I know when to step in with direction for stunning shots and when to step back, letting the moment unfold naturally to capture its raw beauty, creating wedding gallery that feel both artfully composed and authentically real.

Sam, our wedding photographer, was absolutely amazing! The photos turned out stunning, a perfect mix of editorial-style shots and beautiful candid moments that captured the day so naturally. His creativity really stood out; he had such a great eye for what would look good and was always making small adjustments to people’s positions to get the perfect shot. Beyond the photos themselves, he was incredibly kind and easy to work with. He made everyone feel comfortable, which really shows in the pictures. My whole family loved him and his team, and his assistants were wonderful too, specially Jonathan! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and the Sneak Peek photos we have recived so far. If you’re looking for someone creative, professional, and genuinely great to work with, we highly recommend him!

Dana Maruna Photo
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Mesa, AZ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,500

I'm based out of North Dakota & Arizona but will travel anywhere that your love takes me. I've loved taking photos and anything that involved any form or art ever since I was a little girl. I have an amazing husband of almost 5 years and 3 big wonderful pups. I love to travel, hike, spending days at my local coffee shops and nights at breweries in town.

We were incredibly fortunate to have Dana Maruna and her second shooter, Brie, capture our wedding in Minot, ND, in August 2023. From the moment we first connected with Dana, her exceptional communication skills shone through. She was responsive, attentive, and took the time to understand our vision and preferences, making the planning process a breeze. Dana's professionalism and organization put us at ease, and we knew we were in capable hands. Brie, the second shooter, was equally amazing. Their collaborative work ensured no moment was missed, adding depth and variety to our photos. It was evident that both Dana and Brie were dedicated to providing the best possible service, working seamlessly together. What set Dana apart was her offering of film photography, which added a unique and timeless quality to our wedding photos. We can't wait to see the results, and even though we don't have our full gallery back, we have so much trust that it's going to be wonderful. Dana is not only skilled but also passionate about preserving memories in an artistic and meaningful way. Despite living in NYC, we were lucky to have found Dana for our Minot wedding, and her talent made the distance a non-issue. Additionally, Dana and Brie are the creators of Roam Collective, an educational platform for wedding photographers. They conduct workshops all over the country, showcasing their commitment to advancing the art of wedding photography and giving back to the community. But it's not just about professionalism—Dana has become more than our wedding photographer; she's now a dear friend. This personal connection added an extra layer of warmth and comfort to the entire photography experience. It's truly special to not only have had Dana and Brie document our wedding but also to continue building a lasting friendship with Dana. Their genuine care and personal touch make them stand out as more than just professionals but as people who genuinely care about their clients and their stories. In sum, we couldn't be happier with our choice of Dana Maruna as our wedding photographer. Her exceptional communication, talent, dedication to her craft, and educational initiatives through Roam Collective make her and Brie remarkable individuals in the wedding photography industry. They have not only captured our special day beautifully but have also become cherished friends in the process. We highly recommend Dana and Brie to anyone seeking not only photographers but also dedicated professionals and friends. Thank you, Dana and Brie, for making our wedding day truly unforgettable, and we have complete trust that our full gallery will be just as wonderful as the journey to it.

It’s a Snap Media
Rating: 5.0 (1 review)
Mesa, AZ
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $2,600

*please inquire on my website* Fifteen years ago I picked up a camera for the first time as part of my school’s newspaper club. I started taking photos of sports, namely wrestling, then moved to graduation portraits for my friends. My passion for photography grew as I realized my favorite part of photography is the people in front of my lens. It feels very special for me to be there for the important parts of my clients’ life. I am very lucky.

After I expressed interest in her photography, Tram promptly scheduled a call to detail to her services and make sure they aligned with my big day! I was very appreciative of her attention to detail and her willingness to allow my dog to be a part of the big day, as getting his attention can be a challenge. I am so happy with the portraits and the array of photos I got back. I was thrilled to see a "sneak peek" just a few days after. I would absolutely recommend It's a Snap Media.

MyKenzie Alexis Photography

I photograph with the understanding that one day, these images will become part of a family’s most treasured history. Long after the day has passed, they will hold the light, the emotion, and the quiet beauty that words cannot. My approach is rooted in presence—observing with care, honoring what unfolds naturally, and preserving the fleeting moments that often matter most. I believe photographs should do more than document how things looked; they should return you to how it felt to be there, surrounded by love, meaning, and connection.

Awarded Best of Zola
Planning a wedding on your own can be a stressful and intimidating process. You would think picking a photographer would be a hard decision but if you’ve seen MyKenzie’s work, you would know it’s the easiest decision I made throughout my whole wedding planning process. I’ll never forget how special she made our day. Leading up to our wedding day, she was always super responsive and helpful with my questions, along with timeline of the photos I wanted. The day of, she was on time and really made the photos so much fun and special. She is super creative on poses, I had no idea what poses I wanted so I left it up to her and she blew us away and made it so beautiful. Our day would not have been that special without her. My name is Morgan Belieu (she/her), the owner and photographer here at Morgan Belieu Photography. I am photographer servicing both Seattle Washington & Phoenix Arizona; specializing in intimate couple sessions, small weddings & elopements, and portrait photography. But hey, don't let my current location or specialties prevent you from reaching out, I am always eager to travel and experience new places and people.

Morgan is an exceptional photographer with so much talent and care for her craft. From day one, she was incredibly professional, thoughtful, and organized. Working with her was so easy and straightforward. She told us exactly what she needed from us, and she was always prompt with her communication. We loved working with Morgan for so many reasons, but her thoughtfulness, sincerity, and flexibility are particular memorable. Especially with all the chaos that comes with the wedding, it was refreshing to have Morgan be in charge of our photos, because she kept a cool demeanor and was easy going, but prescriptive. Beyond her professionalism and personality, my family, friends, and I are absolutely stunned by how beautiful our photos came out. The photos were creative while maintaining timeless elegance. Morgan's expertise with outdoor photography was perfect for our venue because we had a lot of natural sunlight come through our space since we had a lot of windows. I truly cannot express how thankful I am that Morgan was our photographer. I wish we could have another vent just to have her do more photography for us! Her turn around time was extremely reasonable as well!

Living in Arizona has been such an experience because it really is so much more than desert, and it's allowed me to turn my small photography business into an international venture! Weddings are fleeting, but photographs are forever. My name is David, and for over 20 years, I've been capturing moments that outlive the cake, the confetti, and even some dance moves you swore you'd never show in public. I didn’t just fall into photography—I grew into it. My first wedding was in 1991, with a camera that weighed nearly as much as a toddler. Since then, I've photographed numerous love stories, each as unique as the couple themselves. From vineyard vows to backyard bliss, I’ve learned that every wedding is its own world—and my job is to preserve it in the most authentic, heartfelt way possible.

I’m Zach Beazer, and I photograph weddings exclusively on film. Before that, I cut my teeth in live music and portrait photography—also on film—where I learned to capture fleeting, genuine moments. Over the years, I’ve documented more than 200 weddings, each one with the same care and intention I had on my very first roll. I believe your wedding photos should feel personal, timeless, and true to you—not just a checklist of posed shots. My goal is to listen closely to what matters most to you, then create an honest, artful film gallery you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

Romantic, candid, fun, artsy, beautiful! They listened to everything we asked for and didn’t judge my laundry list of family pics. The behind the scenes/candids of our guests were really important to us, and we got some great shots. Communication was great from start to finish. Note: Splurge for the film package! Those shots are extra dreamy. Thank you Path & Pines!!!!
