Hi, I’m Sara, the owner and photographer behind Iris Rose Photography! I’ve always been drawn to creative work, but photography brought me back to that part of myself in a completely new way. I fell in love with being able to capture something that is both beautiful and meaningful, especially the little moments people don’t always realize are happening. When I’m creating, I feel like my best self, and getting to turn that creativity into memories my couples can keep forever is something I genuinely love.

I care just as much about how your wedding day feels as I do about how it looks in your photos. I’m organized and hands-on when you need me, from helping with your timeline and family photo list to giving you direction so you never have to wonder what to do in front of the camera. But I also know when to step back and let the moment happen. My style blends candid storytelling with timeless, natural portraits so you get the beautiful photos you want without spending your wedding day feeling like you’re at a photoshoot. I’m there for the moments you planned and the ones you didn’t.

    Absolutely a YES!

    Iris Rose Photography, Iris Rose Events - Day of Wedding Coordination, and Rose Pedal Creamery were absolutely the best choices we made for our wedding vendors. It was like getting three amazing services in one package, and honestly, it felt like a steal! The team traveled all the way to Christopher Creek, Arizona, for our special day, and their work ethic and personalities fit the vibe seamlessly. I can’t thank everyone enough for making our May wedding the best day of our lives! Every time we look back on that day, we remember how integral they were to the experience! If you’re on the hunt for an Arizona wedding planner, a day-of coordinator, a talented photographer, or even a fun addition like a dessert bicycle, definitely give them a shot. You won’t regret it! I can promise you that!     Great Experience from Start to Finish

    We interviewed several photographers at the beginning of our wedding planning process. Iris Rose Sara stood out immediately - she was kind, creative, and helpful -- helping us determine the length and type of coverage we needed. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and ready to roll! We were super impressed with the way she utilized multiple features of our venue (it was a small backyard wedding) to give us dreamy and romantic pictures that were complimentary to us and the red rocks behind us. Her commitment to getting "the shot" included laying on the pavement at an angle to capture us and the beautiful mountain behind us. Her rates were reasonable, and we already love the sneak peeks she sent us the day after! Highly recommend!

    A truly awesome and fun experience

    From the moment we first spoke with Iris Rose Photography, we knew we were in good hands. Sara's communication style was open, clear, and detailed, and she was incredibly adaptive in working with us to capture our special day. As someone who has never had a professional photographer before, I found Sara's instructions during our engagement session and on the wedding day to be easygoing and helpful. When it came time for our newlywed photos, Sara was quick to re-imagine poses on the spot to accommodate the limited mobility of my dress. On the wedding day, Sara was a true professional - she seamlessly guided us through taking photos at the Tucson Museum of Art, a location we had chosen. Not only did she bring our ideas to life, but she was also there to capture the emotional moment when I first saw my engagement ring that day. Sara's thorough, diligent, and intentional approach to her work is evident in the beautiful final photos we received.     Amazing!

    Iris Rose photography did an amazing job! They were so kind and professional. They also were so willing to jump right in and navigate the chaos of our wedding. Yes! Every photo is edited before delivering.
All wedding packages will receive sneak peek photos with 24 hours of the event end. On average, delivery of full albums takes place between 2 and 4 weeks.
Yes! I can provide copies of policies upon request.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter or longer time frame.
You can expect about 30 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
I have options on all of my packages to add a second photographer for the full length of your wedding.
Yes. Typically I request a 50% deposit with a signed contract to secure a date, but I know what it's like to plan a wedding on a budget and I believe in being flexible! If you need to adjust the deposit amount, we can definitely chat about it.
