“I agree with the hundreds of 5-star reviews of Second Song, but I wanted to specifically give a shout out to DJ Tyler O! While Second Song made the process leading up to the wedding easy and seamless (and the cold sparklers were a hit), DJ Tyler did an amazing job at my wedding and absolutely CRUSHED the dance floor. My husband and I have differing music tastes, but DJ Tyler was able to find common ground and played banger after banger that kept all of our guests on the dance floor till the very end. As someone who goes to music festivals often, I was impressed by his mixing skills and appreciated that there was never an abrupt transition between songs. He also did an amazing job MC’ing and executed all of our requests for playing specific songs at certain times and starting songs in the middle. I don’t think you can go wrong with any DJ’s with Second Song, but I do highly recommend picking DJ Tyler O!”

The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We were so happy and thankful to have Jeff there! Sie, our videographer also did a wonderful job! We have not yet received our video as our wedding was less than 2 weeks ago, but I already know it is going to be amazing. He was so great with communication, was prompt with his timing, and he even set up a second camera for guests to break away and give us well wishes for our marriage, which I'm so excited to watch back. He was very professional and wonderful to work with. We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! “Trecee was our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception, and he was amazing! My husband and I were originally going to just play music from our phone, but I’m glad that we found and hired Trecee instead! With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services! “DJ Inessa was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning, she was incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely invested in making our wedding feel like us. What impressed me most was how much she helped beyond simply being our DJ. She helped coordinate the flow of the reception, communicated with us throughout the process, kept track of important details, and helped make sure everything transitioned smoothly. Watching the kids light up around her was incredibly sweet. That small moment said so much about how caring and kind she is. She was warm with our guests, flexible when things needed adjusting, and calm when we needed direction. She clearly has SO much experience and her resume is incredible, she's been onstage with literally all of our favorite artists, everyone from Andrea Bocelli to Kygo, Odesza, Yandel, and even classics like the Eagles and Beck! Her playlist has 1500 songs and counting, plus she takes requests, so we were able to create a totally custom playlist which represented our unique (and very different!) tastes. Her contracting process was easy and her prices seemed like a bargain compared to many of the other vendors we initially reached out to. We hope we can book her again-- or that all of our friends do! Also, we liked that she runs her own business and plays her own bookings, so we weren't just getting a random member of a group managed by someone else who happened to be free that day.”

But most of all, I love creating a totally customized and memorable experience for my wedding clients-- I play over 150 weddings a year and am a preferred vendor at SF City Hall, Mountain Terrace, and many other venues.

“Honestly I ended up choosing Sean as my DJ for the wedding because he was the nicest and the most communicative out of everyone I contacted. I thought he did an awesome job at helping me through the process. Sean even was pretty flexible when I kept missing my zoom appointment (sorry about that) and didn't make me feel bad about it. He was great when it came to choosing songs for the big day. He also had the timeline on lock and was able to provide some insight. I love that I chose to include the photobooth because we can go back and look at all the photographs which is great. Every one of my guests loved that and was excited they could get each one afterwards. The printer was super quick too. I didn't even know we would have a personalized print with our wedding date on it which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have liked would be that when the bride/groom requested a song that it would get played. Instead he asked if the venue was okay with it which I felt like wasn't a concern since I paid for both to be there. That was my only note for future events. Rick Flare Drip never got played and it's a banger. Sean also had another surprise which was Audio he recorded from the ceremony which I thought was a cute touch. Thank you for making our big day a success.”

“What I like about Taj is that he is really high spirited when he’s DJing makes the crowd more involved and it just puts a really fly energy in the room to have a DJ that’s into what he’s doing for you and into the music. He really really loves music And that is a great thing. Believe it or not there’s a lot of people doing business and music for the money and don’t have a pure love that I can see Taj has, and therefore it affects the quality of his business and music.”

“I cannot recommend Bellissima Music highly enough. They performed for my engagement proposal this past Saturday, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Throughout the planning process, they were incredibly helpful, responsive, and easy to work with. I had a specific vision for the atmosphere I wanted to create, and they took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. Their guidance and professionalism made the entire process stress-free. One thing that really stood out was the music curation. I provided a list of songs that were meaningful to my fiancée and me, and Bellissima Music helped shape a setlist that was absolutely perfect. “Keith was the perfect DJ. Honestly! There is nothing that we would change about our wedding night, it was truly perfect. Keith is a class act professional who makes no compromise between quality and affordability. He values his clients and offers extraordinary service at an affordable price. I went in with high (but reasonable) expectations for our wedding night, and he definitely delivered above and beyond!! We had read other reviews of weddings that Keith had DJ’d where the clients were musicians and they had curated a specific type of music they wanted throughout the night, and he nailed it. I consider myself a little bit of an audiophile, so I listen to a wide range of music, and I can also attest to just how amazing Keith’s music selection was! Part of a DJ’s job is to get you excited to go out on the dance floor, and we were already excited before the dancing began, because we just knew Keith was going to kill it (spoiler alert: he did!). He even mixed together multiple songs at once and it was amazing! Keith kept the atmosphere alive all night and there was never a dead moment. Most of the people were up and dancing, even people who have never been willing to dance before! It takes a skilled DJ to do that. It was electric. We had had a negative experience with another DJ company that we spoke to before we decided to look to Nocturnal Cafe, but just from the first conversation with Keith we knew he was our DJ. Keith was incredibly respectful to us, he was patient and understanding throughout the whole process, and he worked with us every step of the way to make sure we were going to have the best night of our lives. His process with his clients is great and made us feel very comfortable. He does a great job of avoiding the typical eye-roll cheesy songs (unless you request it, of course) and he picks songs that suit well for what you’re looking for. We gave him some songs/artists/genres we would like to hear (and some to songs to avoid) but we ultimately wanted to just give him an idea of what we were thinking and for him to use it as a guide more than a ‘must’. We gave him creative freedom to just let him work his magic and boy, was it magic that came out of those speakers!”
