Nestled at the base of Barrett Mountain, Redbird Ridge is a scenic 72-acre estate. Beautifully restored early 1900s farmhouse and an historic 1800s cabin, both offering charm w/ modern conveniences. The estate includes a versatile and elegant venue ideal for weddings, rehearsal dinner, and parties boasting stunning mountain views for outdoor options. Extended space includes a 30’ x 40’ terrace and 16’ x 80’ pavilion that can be used as a lounge, cocktail hour, etc., a beautiful bridal suite and stately groom suite. The farmhouse boasts four bedrooms, three 1/2 bathrooms, a cozy living area with fireplace, and a modern kitchen, available as Air BnB; sleeps 12. The charming rental cabin offers three bedrooms, 1 ½ baths, a full kitchen, laundry and a cozy living area; sleeps 10. A serene creek runs through the property and a small pond, perfect for pictures. Whether for a tranquil getaway or a memorable event, Redbird Ridge captures the essence of NC's natural beauty and historical charm!

“It has taken me well over a week to write this review of my experience @Redbird Ridge Estate as I had to fully digest this experience of tranquility. I wasn’t even sure that I was ready for a getaway experience after my Husband & I had been the caregivers for my Sister,Dad,and Brother whom all died over the last four (4) years.But after reaching out to co-owner,Alisa Dwyer,and reading about the history of Redbird Ridge Estate,I saw this getaway for Valentine’s Day Weekend as a Blessing. Alisa & her husband,Daron, welcomed us to Redbird Ridge so very warmly as did the free-range chickens from the chicken coop,the pond,and the tranquility trail. Further observations of this beautiful property revealed the renovated farmhouse,cabin,wedding chapel & picture-perfect reception hall with extra large bridal & groomsmen suites.From Valentine’s Day Arrival 5-Course Dinner To Morning After Brunch,including farm-fresh eggs from the on-site chicken coop,deliciously & professionally prepared on-site by The Romantic Chef Himself!My Husband & I most definitely will be returning to The Redbird Estate!!! “My daughter and I came to this venue after visiting many but after talking to Ashley we knew we had found the perfect place. She was easy to talk to, was willing to make my daughter's wedding dreams come to life, and she was just as excited for the day as my daughter was (It is clear she loves what she does). Instantly felt like she was a friend of the family. The backdrop to this venue is stunning with rolling, well-manicured fields and a pond enhanced by sunrises and sunsets. Like a romance novel come to life. The barn is the perfect place to join families together, create memories, and find peace in a hectic day. Ashley gives her brides the opportunity to plan and practice with special "venue practice" days. So helpful and she has so many decor items for brides to use from their warehouse (which is included). But she allows brides to bring whatever is in their vision. The bridal suite is dreamy, roomy, and you can tell Ashley knows what the bride will need. The furniture and chandeliers are so elegant for pictures. The groom's suite was the perfect masculine vibe with a pool table and access to gaming fun... again so much attention to details. Even the restrooms are on trend and very clean. Amazing venue, the sweetest staff that work hard from beginning to end, and Ashley was there to calm the nerves while attending to anything we needed. She is the absolute BEST! God has given her a gift and it is seen in her mission at Emerald Hill. You should check this place out for your wedding or special event... it truly is a sight to experience. The price is affordable and fair for all that is included. I am so glad my daughter found and chose this place for her special day. Whether your wedding is inside or outside, The Emerald Hill venue, the staff and the owner, Ashley will not disappoint.”

“The venue owner is the most genuine and caring person on this earth. She was quick to answer messages with all of my questions and gave amazing advice. She communicated everything to us efficiently. The venue space is beautiful, spacious, and has a lot of depth and variety. They made sure everything was just how i wanted it and helped put things together that i didnt know how to do. They also put in so much work and were present for the entire day helping and running around. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married because they made the experience magical and easy.”
