Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!

Words cannot express the magic and beauty that Tricia and Marty created for our special day. From the moment we toured the venue we felt the love these two people put into their special place. They both were not only professional but extremely kind and amazingly helpful in every aspect and detail of our wedding. I wish we could live it all over again, but I will cherish the moments and photos for all the years to come. I can't thank them enough for all that they've done. Our guests continue to speak nothing but praise for this place. This is the BEST venue to have a wedding, if you're looking for rustic love and beauty. The food was great as well. Tarrytown House Estate
Rating: 4.7 (3 reviews)
Tarrytown, NY
  • Up to 300 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Every love story deserves a setting as enchanting as the tale itself. Nestled in the scenic embrace of the Hudson River Valley, Tarrytown House Estate weddings seamlessly intertwine historic elegance with modern luxury. Revel in the stunning ambiance of our legendary estate as you step into the next chapter of your story—and cherish the memories that linger long after the last dance. Bring your vision to life across more than 30,000 square feet of stunning event space. Whether planning a romantic elopement or the most lavish of celebrations, the perfect venue for every moment of your wedding weekend is here at Tarrytown.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Provides catering services

Venue considerations

  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No all-inclusive dining options
Tarrytown House Estate is a truly beautiful wedding venue and an incredible value for what it offers. The grounds are stunning, especially in the fall, with endless photo opportunities that made our entire weekend feel like the Broadway production we planned (Note: our wedding had a light Broadway theme that worked very well at TTHE). From the ceremony to the reception to the afterparty, the property offered a wide range of adaptable spaces, which made it easy to tailor the layout to our vision and comfortably accommodate a large guest list. The food was a standout. It was delicious, abundant, and consistently praised by our guests, both for quality and quantity. Many guests commented that it exceeded their expectations. The venue’s preferred vendor list and Ann’s suggested vendors were also a huge help. It saved us time, reduced stress, and ultimately helped us manage costs without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest highlights was the speakeasy afterparty space, which was a total hit and made the post wedding Pajama party, memorable finale. The venue is also very accessible in terms of planning. We were able to visit often, walk the grounds freely, and truly familiarize ourselves with the property ahead of the big day, which made us feel confident and prepared. The only challenge worth noting is that the hotel room layout can be a bit confusing, and the property is not the most accessible for older guests or those with limited mobility. That said, we forgot to ensure that less mobile guests were given the most accessible room and they do have a golf cart to shuttle guests around. We also cannot say enough good things about Ann, our venue coordinator. She was exceptional from start to finish. Her communication was clear and timely, and it was immediately obvious that she is deeply experienced and knows this venue inside and out. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly personable, and she genuinely made us feel like she was on our team rather than trying to sell us on upgrades we didn’t need. Ann was an invaluable source of insight, advice, and creative problem-solving, and she was always willing to entertain and help execute our more ambitious or unconventional ideas (e.g. a Reindeer Ringbearer). She consistently offered thoughtful, cost-effective guidance that helped us bring our vision to life without unnecessary stress or expense. On the wedding day itself, she was incredibly present, calm, and responsive, handling details seamlessly and making us feel fully supported. At every step, she made us feel like her only and most valued clients. Overall, we would highly recommend Tarrytown House Estate and Ann to any couple looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with excellent food, strong vendor partnerships, and truly outstanding coordination.

I could not have been happier with our experience at Hudson Prime. We hosted a 35 person wedding there in November, with a ceremony and cocktails on the covered patio and dinner in the dining room. Floria was so wonderful to work with - really flexible, communicative, and warm. Arif made sure everything ran smoothly on the day-of. The space was so beautiful and elegant and the food was excellent. They were willing to answer a million questions and accomodate various dietary restrictions. Would not hestiate to recommend a wedding at Hudson Prime to anyone.

We recently had our wedding at Hudson Loft (OnTheMarc) and it was the best party we’ve ever attended! Every element of the planning process was thoughtful and Sam, the Senior Event Producer we worked with was incredibly detail-oriented, organized, and on top of it all! We felt cared for from the very beginning stages and that care continued through the wedding with every staff member who helped to make the day run so smoothly. We can’t say enough about the FOOD. It was hard to narrow down to 8 (!!) passed appetizers because they were all so delicious. The presentation is exceptional at OnThe Marc - every appetizer is truly bite-size and bursting with flavor. It’s like having the tiniest versions of all of your favorite foods from lobster rolls and tacos to sliders, chicken and waffles, spicy tuna on crispy rice and beyond. Everything felt both elevated and also grounded in quality ingredients and thoughtful execution. For the main course, we did 2 stations and were thrilled with the results. Throughout the night, family and friends commented on how amazing every bite was and how wonderfully varied the choices were. We highly recommend this special event space for couples seeking a gorgeous open layout in Westchester that can truly be a canvas for any design and flowers. The location, situated right opposite the MetroNorth train station in Irvington, was perfect for friends and family traveling from the city. The windows are a showstopper, looking out onto the Hudson and filling the room with a warm glow well into the evening. We loved that we didn’t have to rent any furniture. There is plenty of seating and many furniture options for display. The long tables were a great way to promote conversation during cocktail hour. We also loved the lighting! The exposed bulb fixtures give an appealing industrial vibe. We did our ceremony at Hudson Loft and the table set-up was seamless during the cocktail hour. Our Event Captain, Teresa, was thorough, diligent, and accessible the entire time. She made it all feel so easy and joyful! OnTheMarc will make you feel completely at ease with every detail. We are so grateful to have chosen this special place for our wedding!

We got married here in October 2025. We had an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour and the venue was gorgeous for the whole day. As we were getting married in mid October, weather was a concern and although we didn’t need it Kelsey was great at easing our concerns with a contingency plan. From the first meeting with Perry, the staff went above and beyond to make sure that everything ran perfect. On the actual wedding day, Kelsey and my bridal attendant Jen helped make sure that everything ran smoothly from the moment we got there. They made sure that the bridal party and families were comfortable during pictures and were eating and drinking. Kelsey is absolutely amazing at organizing and very communicative which helped make sure everything ran smoothly, even in the months leading up to the day. When my wedding planner was non communicative and I was unable to reach her, Kelsey stepped in and answered all my questions and made sure we had everything we needed. We also used Vincenza for our Chuppah and decor and flowers. She executed our vision exactly how we wanted and everything looked beautiful on the day of! People are still talking about how amazing the food was and how great and attentive the servers were. I highly recommend the Briarcliff Manor.
