“I cannot say enough good things about Joanna. From the first time we did a video call with her, my husband and I simply loved her vibe, and that never changed. Throughout the planning process, she was incredibly helpful and patient in answering questions, assisting with building our day-of timeline, and navigating creating a family shot list for my large, blended family. I felt so good having her support throughout the process and it made me so confident going into the wedding day.
On the day of the wedding, she was INCREDIBLE. Prompt, punctual, efficient, organized, and--once again--great energy. Even when our shuttle bus didn't show up and I found out during our couple portraits pre-ceremony, she was able to keep me in the present moment and keep getting great photos. Joanna provided guidance and support with posing, but was also open to in-the-moment ideas my husband and I had. (She also allows you to add time day-of, which I didn't think we'd need, but was so glad she offered once the shuttle fiasco happened and we needed to bump everything by a half hour!)
We haven't received our full gallery yet, but even from the sneak peek photos, I can already tell she captured the essence of our day perfectly. The images are beautiful and beyond my wildest dreams. It's also worth noting that we had a very dark theater as our venue, and she was able to accommodate with whatever light was available, including bringing equipment to make it work. Amazing! Also included in the sneak peek was an image of my husband and I talking to one another right after we got married that I didn't even know she took because I didn't even realize she was there in that moment- she is really just that good!
