I'm Kelsey, an intimate wedding photographer based in Chittenango, New York, serving couples across Syracuse, Cazenovia, Skaneateles, and the wider Central New York region. My approach is calm, documentary, and rooted in truth. I focus on the quiet in-between moments of a wedding day. I'm not going to pull you away from your people or over-direct your day. I want you to be fully present, and I'll worry about the photos. When the day is over, the images should feel like the truth of how it actually felt.

I photograph intimate weddings, meaning small, intentional days built around the people who matter most. That's not just a niche I chose, it's the kind of day I believe in. My style is quiet, warm, and unposed. I stay close, pay attention, and let moments unfold at their own pace. I'm not looking for the most dramatic frame. I'm looking for the most honest one. Couples tend to say that having me there feels calm and easy, like I'm just part of the day. That matters to me more than anything, because real moments only surface when people feel safe enough to stop performing.

    We had a fantastic experience working with Kelsey for our engagement, wedding, and maternity photos!! The entire process was pleasant and seamless - from the initial consultation call, to booking, payment, and planning phone calls, Kelsey made it easy. She was very kind, thorough, and supportive of moments we wanted to capture and on the big day, made sure we did exactly that. Her delivery of the final photos was prompt and we're so happy with how they came out! You'll get a sneak peek of 50 to 100 edited images within 48 hours, so you have something to share while the day still feels close. Your full gallery comes about six weeks after the wedding. It stays online for at least six months, usually longer, but I'd still download and back it up when it arrives. You'll have full print rights, so you can print wherever you like.
No, it's just me, and that's a deliberate choice rather than a limitation. I photograph small, intimate weddings, and one quiet person moving through the day is far less disruptive than a team. It also means the person you talk to on your planning call is the person who shows up, learns your family's names, and edits your photos afterward. Nothing gets handed off to someone you've never met.
This is the part most couples dread, so I run it tightly. Before the wedding we'll build the list together, with names and who belongs in each grouping. On the day, someone calls out the next group while I photograph the current one, and I let people go as soon as they're done so nobody stands around waiting. One tip: tell everyone on that list beforehand and give them the time, because the usual hold-up is one person who wandered off to the bar.
Three equal payments. A third when you book, which is what holds your date, a third ninety days before the wedding, and the last third thirty days before. Your date is reserved once the contract is signed and that first payment is in. I'll send a reminder before each one, so you don't need to keep track of the dates yourself.
Almost everyone says this, and it's genuinely fine. I don't do much posing and I won't run you through a long list of set-up shots. For most of the day I'm just nearby, paying attention and letting things happen on their own. When I do step in it's usually something small, like where to stand for the light. Couples tend to tell me afterward that they forgot I was there, which is exactly the idea. If you really want me to help pose you, no worries, I'm happy to - I just prefer to capture you naturally versus posed where I can.
