The majority of our guests (we had a lot) either didn’t leave the dance floor or kept coming back! As the bride I only left to cool off then right back out to the best dancing songs he was playing. He narrated our guys vs girls flip cup game and even judged (girls won by default). All around an amazing job and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a fun DJ who isn’t afraid to lend a hand and help get the job done, even if it’s a bit out of his job description. Thank you!”

We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. Overall, we would 1000% recommend Direct Entertainment for any wedding entertainment needs! People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. He was always available to chat via video call or text if needed. And his shared spreadsheet helped us immensely during the chaos that is wedding planning (especially planning from abroad). “This review is way overdue, but I made sure to come back to leave it because this band deserves it so much! They tore it up all night, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that our guests were raving about the band. Every wedding I've been to ha had a brief awkward period where everyone is playing chicken over who will start dancing first, but that wasn't a problem with this music. One of our guests was a former guitarist for Blood, Sweat, and Tears and even HE was raving about the band! So anyway: these guys rock, their catalog is vast, and Elliott is AMAZING to work with. He was right there with us brainstorming songs for the setlist, and when there was a brief issue with the power at the venue he handled it like a pro. If you're looking for a ripping band for your wedding or event then these guys 100% fit the bill, and I truly couldn't recommend them more”
