My husband and I had the absolute best experience having our wedding at the Inn at Leola Village. Working with Stephanie and the team was smooth and easy, and the wedding itself was fantastic. We loved every minute, and getting to have everything onsite made the weekend even more special. Tracie, the florist, took my ideas and ran with them to create the perfect atmosphere in the room. The food and drinks were great and all the staff from bartenders to hair and makeup artists to servers were awesome. I couldn't recommend having your wedding here more!

We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise. When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. Finding this venue felt like discovering a hidden gem. 9030 Rockland Estates is tucked away in the most peaceful, picturesque spot — it truly felt like a dream once we found it through lots of searching online. When we booked in 2023, the venue was still fairly new, but after our first walk-through, we instantly fell in love. The ceremony site was breathtaking, and even though the deck and a few other spaces were still being developed at the time, we could already see the incredible potential. Over nearly two years of planning, I had the absolute pleasure of working with Amanda (the owner) and later Kaitlyn, the event coordinator. Both of them were amazing — incredibly responsive, warm, and supportive. Amanda especially went above and beyond, answering every question (no matter how small) with patience and enthusiasm. Her joyful spirit shines through in everything she does. As a former bride herself, she truly understands what couples need and has built that perspective into her venue experience. One of the best things about 9030 is the flexibility it offers. You get access to the property from Thursday through Sunday, which makes all the difference — especially for DIY brides or anyone without a big setup crew. Having time for rehearsal, setup, and cleanup without feeling rushed was a huge blessing. Amanda also later opened the on-site house for couples, families, and wedding parties to stay in, which made our weekend so much easier and more enjoyable. Being able to get ready right there, change after the ceremony, and simply relax without worrying about transportation was incredible. The venue itself has everything a couple could want — beautiful indoor bathrooms, a spacious bridal suite, a groom’s suite, and stunning natural backdrops everywhere you look. Amanda keeps improving and adding thoughtful touches all the time. She allows couples to bring their own vendors and alcohol (with a licensed bartender), which gave us so much flexibility to personalize our day. About 10 days before the wedding, Amanda informed us that the venue could no longer do fireworks in-house, but she quickly helped us find a licensed vendor and handled all the logistics. The show turned out to be spectacular — truly the best way to end a magical night. It rained on our wedding day, which initially broke my heart since I had dreamed of that outdoor ceremony site from the moment I saw it. But Amanda and her team transformed the tent space so beautifully that I ended up loving it even more. The way the florals, colors, and lighting came together created the most romantic atmosphere imaginable. Everyone is still raving about how gorgeous it was! Yes, there were minor hiccups — mostly due to me underestimating how the rain plan would affect seating with our large bridal party — but overall, everything was seamless and stunning. Amanda’s flexibility, kindness, and understanding made all the difference. If I could do it all over again (which I won’t, because I married my forever!), I’d 110% book 9030 Rockland Estates again — maybe just earlier in September to skip the rain! This venue, and the people behind it, made our wedding everything we dreamed of and more. We feel so lucky and grateful to have celebrated such a special day in such a beautiful place.

I honestly can't say enough amazing things about The Antrim 1844 Hotel! We had the most incredible wedding experience here, and I'm so grateful we found this gem. We actually heard about Antrim from a coworker whose family had their wedding there last spring. It wasn't even on our radar before that, but now I can't imagine our wedding taking place anywhere else! During our planning process, we got to see so many different weddings they were hosting, and I was blown away by their unique ability to make everything from small intimate gatherings to expansive celebrations not just work, but work beautifully! They really know how to adapt to each couple's vision. Working with Jill was such a joy! She made the entire planning process feel effortless and actually fun. She was so flexible with all our changes and took the time to walk us through backup plans for weather, which gave us such peace of mind knowing we were covered no matter what. We got lucky with lovely weather and got married in their rose garden, and oh my goodness - it was so breathtakingly gorgeous that we barely needed to add any decorations! The natural beauty spoke for itself and created the most romantic, dreamy backdrop for our vows. Having so many family members and friends traveling to join us, the wedding weekend stay option was a game-changer! The complimentary breakfast for overnight guests was such a thoughtful touch - it meant everyone could wake up together and start each day without any stress about finding food. It really made the whole wedding weekend feel like one big family celebration. The bridal suite in the main mansion was absolutely perfect for getting ready! There was space for our entire wedding party plus my mom and friends to get ready together, and it provided the most beautiful backdrop for photos. We got so many stunning getting-ready shots in that gorgeous space! The food was absolutely delicious - both during our tasting and on the big day! Our guests are still raving about it. The team worked so seamlessly with all our other vendors too, making sure everyone felt welcomed and taken care of. We were thrilled about the veterans discount, which let us add some extra special touches like a dessert bar, upgraded appetizers, and shade canopies for the ceremony. They made it so easy to customize everything within our budget. Every single guest has told us what an amazing time they had, and we're already excited to come back for anniversaries! We've heard their holiday decorations are absolutely spectacular, so we're definitely planning a winter visit. Bowling Brook Mansion is incredible! This is a truly special venue. We offer our strongest possible recommendation, and our earnest thanks, to Debbie and her staff for making our wedding day more beautiful than we had ever imagined. The venue itself is gorgeous. The mansion is colorful and picturesque; the indoors are classy but not cluttered; the grounds are sprawling and luscious. We held our ceremony in a gorgeous, decorated, wooded grove, and took photos throughout the surrounding farmlands. We were very happy with the amount of space our guests had available to roam and mingle inside and outside the mansion. The ballroom was spacious, and with a cool summer evening, we were able to open an outdoor patio/tent area for guests to socialize. Also, when the evening wound down, we went to the roofdeck with close family and friends for a late afterparty under the stars—a gorgeous night in the countryside! Debbie and her staff are amazing. We can’t say enough about Debbie herself. She treated us like a member of her family, not just another customer. She was also easy to reach and easy to talk to throughout the planning process. She worked to understand our needs and sincerely respected our vision for our wedding, making several accommodations for our plans—such as permitting us to select off-list vendors, working with our family’s arrival time needs, and allowing us to stay in the honeymoon suite before the wedding. On our wedding day, she stayed on top of managing the vendors so that we could focus on enjoying ourselves. We owe a special thanks to Debbie’s staff for helping out in the aftermath of a hurricane. During the week before our wedding, the remnants of a tropical storm swept through Maryland. We were very worried that we would have to commit to an indoor ceremony, but the storm cleared late on Friday night, and Saturday was temperate and picturesque. Debbie and her staff arrived early Saturday morning and worked very hard to get the mansion and the grounds ready. Their hard work made our wedding day everything we wanted it to be. They provide decorations, ceremony centerpieces, two separate floors for the bridal party to get ready, a honeymoon cabin, and a detailed planner with tips and tricks to help you plan a wedding according to their venue. When we found this venue on Zola, we immediately wanted to view it. They were super quick to respond and were very informative of what to expect. They were upfront of cost and what was included. The scheduling was very streamlined. The day of coordinator, Erin was very helpful and wonderful. The food was absolutely out of this world! The venue has multiple options to choose from ceremony site, reception, and food. The staff were super friendly as well. As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. When I first arrived on the property to look at it, it was breathtaking so beautiful and so well kept, and obviously Lauren and Kara were so kind and sweet and so attentive to every single one of my requests and details. Fast-forward to wedding weekend, I had Kara and Lauren on speed dial if I needed anything and they were so helpful for any tiny request. I needed for my wedding party and family. The property is absolutely stunning. My wedding party and I stayed in the farmhouse the entire weekend from rehearsal dinner to a brunch on that Sunday and my friends, and I had the time of our lives. It was so accommodating to have family come from out of state. Be able to stay on the property in a nearby Airbnb that houses 20 people! I wasn’t worried about hotels, driving and transporting people or potentially having them drinking and driving. It was so nice to just be there the entire time. My friends and family have said that it was one of the best weddings that they have ever been to and I can concur that was the best wedding ever. I cannot recommend this place enough if you live in Maryland or nearby or somewhere on the East Coast or looking to do a destination wedding. This is your place to do it!!! I wish I could relive my wedding weekend. It was so magical and perfect and I could not have asked for anything more. Thank you Comus farms!

We booked a tour with Cold Saturday Farm on a whim, but holy cow am I glad that we did! We met with Brittany on a pretty dreary day in the winter, and even then I could see the beauty in the venue. It truly is a blank canvas that you can really make your own. Plus, the venue checked all the boxes that were super important to us: onsite getting ready spaces for both us, free onsite parking, guest tables and chairs included, and access to the venue all day. For the price, it was a great value. Brittany did end up leaving Cold Saturday, and we do wish that had been proactively communicated to us, but her replacement, Meredith, was fantastic, especially because she started the week before our wedding (I'm pretty sure we were her first wedding at the venue). But she was incredibly helpful and friendly--we actually had guests come up to us and tell us how awesome she was! The only other thing I wish we had known ahead of time was that the getting ready room the guys used didn't have any furniture. It was still being worked on during our tours, so we didn't actually see the room until the day of. So the room may have furniture at some point. Overall, we loved Cold Saturday Farm. It is truly a hidden gem (none of our vendors have ever worked there before but all of them said they loved it), so I really love that it was a pretty unique and beautiful place to have our wedding.

Historic Shady Lane provided excellent communication throughout our wedding planning process. Their coordinator Caitlyn was very good about keeping us informed and addressing any of our questions or concerns. The venue itself was beautifully stunning, with a gorgeous greenhouse and very spacious reception tent. When it rained on our wedding day, they were quick to accommodate and rearrange the setup so our guests could stay nice and dry inside the greenhouse. They also offered golf cart transportation, which our guests really appreciated. While their preferred vendor list had some great options, we ended up finding an amazing makeup artist that wasn't on their list. Overall, Historic Shady Lane contributed greatly to making our special day unforgettable.
