Drumore Mill is a different world. It is nestled in a corner of the most rustic township in Amish Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The mill was built in 1752 as a sawmill and a grist mill. It sits in a hollow with 30 acres of tall cliffs and old trees to provide privacy, warmth, and natural beauties. There is a pristine creek that meanders through the property. The Fishing Creek supports native trout and other rare small fishes. The waterfall is adjacent to the buildings. There is a hiking trail within the property. There is wetland and much more. The combination of rustic setting, natural beauties, and historical features makes Drumore Mill amazingly beautiful. One has to see it to believe it.

“Drumore Mill was an absolutely stunning venue to use for our special day (really weekend). We loved the ease of booking the venue, touring with Thuy, and the promptness and flexibility they offer. An added bonus is the available on site lodging for rental, which we made great use of for our close friends, family, and wedding party to stay in the night before and night of the wedding. We enjoyed the Great Room in the Grist Mill for our rehearsal dinner. Our guests loved how spacious Drumore Mill was, and we appreciated all the attention to detail such as included (but still optional) decor and greenery, and the setup of chairs and other items for the ceremony space. Being able to bring in all of our own vendors at no additional cost was fantastic. The value for renting the property from Thursday to Saturday morning was unmatched and completely worth it. We would recommend Drumore Mill to anyone, and we look forward to booking the property in the future for non-wedding related stays with friends and family.”

“From the first time we toured La Luna, Mark, Karen, and their staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and personable. They were patient and sweet with our parents, grandparents, and other family members, and asked thoughtful questions to make sure we were all on the same page about the vision for our wedding. They were able to accommodate our bicultural family with a bilingual DJ and menu items that were not listed on their menu, and everything at our reception was laid out with care and attention to detail. Our wedding party also stayed at the manor house for our entire wedding weekend, which was so much fun and so perfect!! We would absolutely recommend La Luna to anyone looking for an amazing place to host their special event, that is also reasonably priced and includes so much in their packages. “We chose Philmont for our 11/03/2023 wedding, and we couldn't be happier with the venue and the staff (special shout out to Ariel and Jimmy). We received so many compliments on how delicious the food was, which thrilled me and my husband to hear. Ariel was who I coordinated with for months, and she deserves all the good praise in the world. She was always helpful and responsive, which is key for a bride-to-be who is juggling the plethora of responsibilities and vendors prior to the big day. She was absolutely a key member of the team to ensure everything with smoothly, and had endless patience for my many questions. I would recommend her to anyone. With the recent construction going on outside the venue, my husband and I were filled with trepidation as that was something that started up a few months before our wedding day, but the staff truly went above and beyond to make sure that was nothing but a hiccup on the day. We received so much praise for the venue and the outdoor ceremony space, and our guests stated that everything was beautiful. Jimmy was incredible during our Tasting, and helped us pick the perfect menu for our guests. We chose the plated option (Filet, Tuscan Chicken, and Honey-Soy Salmon), and their Honey-Soy Salmon was a massive hit with myself and the guests who ordered it. We also heard endless compliments for the appetizers and stations serviced during cocktail hour. Jimmy was a huge help to us when it came to picking the perfect menu, and was also an excellent Day-Of coordinator. He made sure everything was running smoothly on the wedding day, and helped our rather large party line up and walk for the ceremony. The staff here are truly what made this experience incredible, and it's thanks to them that we had our perfect day.”

“I genuinely cannot say enough good things about Knowlton Mansion and Conroy Catering. From my first tour through our actual wedding day, they were incredible. Knowlton itself is SO beautiful. It was important to me to find a venue that felt like an experience, where guests could wander around, explore different spaces, go outside, and take everything in rather than spending the entire night in one ballroom. Knowlton was exactly that. The mansion and grounds have so much character that you really don't need a ton of decor because the venue speaks for itself. We had our ceremony outside, moved indoors afterward, had the fire pits going outside, and added the secret wine cellar that opened during the reception, which was SUCH a fun surprise. Our guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue was and how much they loved all the different spaces. I also loved how much freedom we had to make the wedding feel like US. Knowlton provides so many amazing vendors, but we brought in some of our own as well, and they embraced everything. We literally had a tattoo artist tattooing guests during the reception and, at one point, a full-blown mosh pit to Rage Against the Machine haha, while still having all the traditional wedding moments we wanted. Nothing ever felt cookie-cutter or like we had to fit into their idea of what a wedding should be. They just moved with us and helped make it happen. Conroy Catering was also wonderful. Our guests RAVED about the hors d'oeuvres, and every single one we chose was a hit. They also accommodated two signature cocktails that were a little more involved than their standard offerings, and they turned out amazing. And the STAFF!! Cara gave me my initial tour and immediately made me feel so welcome. Eileen worked with me throughout basically the entire year of planning and was an absolute lifesaver. She was informative, organized, kept track of all my notes, and made the entire process so much easier. Then Rebecca was our coordinator on the actual wedding day and was AMAZING. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I could hand everything over to her and actually enjoy my wedding. All three were exceptionally kind, organized, and made me feel genuinely special and cared for. Our bridal attendant and waitstaff were incredible too, even making sure I actually got to eat some of our hors d'oeuvres throughout the night! Finally, the VALUE is incredible. Weddings get unbelievably expensive so quickly, and Knowlton's packages include so much for a very reasonable price. Between the gorgeous venue, catering, open bar, staff, coordination, and everything else included, we were able to have a wedding that felt grand and beautiful without the enormous price tag I saw at so many other venues. Our wedding was beautiful, unique, fun, personal, and completely US, and Knowlton embraced every bit of it. Our guests loved it, WE loved it, and I would choose Knowlton Mansion again in a heartbeat!!”

“We loved our wedding at Huntingdon Valley CC! Allegra was so nice and great to work with! The staff during the event was on top of it, professional, and so nice. The venue is beautiful and they accommodated everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this venue! We had our ceremony off site. Following the ceremony, the bridal party and our families came to the venue to take pictures outside of the building before the reception started. They provided light snacks and beverages for us during this time. I also requested to use chairs for our photos in the lawn and they were more than happy to provide these. The terrace is a perfect space for cocktail hour. Our guests raved about the hors d'oeuvres. We had a photobooth set up outside on the terrace during cocktail hour. The space was perfect for it and there was plenty of room. The ballroom is beautiful and was my favorite part of the venue. We had 137 guests and the space was very comfortable and we had plenty of room on the dance floor. Allegra helped us figure out what table set up and room lay out worked best for our group and was more than willing to accommodate our requests.”
