Beautiful Venue
The venue was absolutely beautiful, and our bartender was truly outstanding - the best I or any of my guests have ever experienced at a wedding! Huge shoutout to them for making the evening so memorable. The food was impeccable, and our tasting experience was divine. The staff also assisted with setup and takedown, which we really appreciated. However, communication with the venue team was challenging at times. There were many back-and-forth emails that could have been resolved quickly with a phone call, and response times were often slow, even after requesting callbacks. My cake topper was unfortunately broken at some point during cleanup and no one informed us, which was disappointing. We also encountered some issues with the sound system and couldn’t locate the venue’s point person, though thankfully it was resolved before our grand entrance. Overall, despite a few hiccups, the venue was stunning, the food and bar service were exceptional, and our guests had a wonderful time.
Christmas Wedding
The Carriage house was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. The food was perfect, the staff were helpful and kind and coordination with Katie went perfectly. There was not one thing that went wrong day of and we would highly recommend this venue for anybody who wants an easy going, stress free, well organized event.
Rockwood
The Carriage House in Rockwood Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we stepped foot on the historic property, we were captivated by the beautiful, historic charm of the grounds. The staff was professional and attentive. The food was amazing - our guests raved about how delicious everything was. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding celebration.
Best experience!!
We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at the Carriage house! It has been taken over by Prime Hospitality catering who did an amazing job from start to finish! Our guests raved over the food, waitstaff, and bartenders! Katie and her team took care of every single aspect of our wedding which allowed my husband and I, our families, and our bridal party to be stress free and enjoy the day! I could go on and on about how amazing our wedding day was! Not a single thing went wrong, Katie and her team decorated the venue beautifully, the service was fantastic, and our guests continue to reach out about how beautiful the wedding venue was. It was better than I could’ve ever expected! I hope that the Carriage House starts to see an increase in weddings at their venue because they are truly amazing at their job! Katie coordinated and helped me with planning the wedding out from day 1. She worked relentlessly behind the scenes to ensure we had a great day. The food was the best wedding meal I have ever had and I’m not just saying that because I had my wedding here. The restaurant associated with the caterers “Brandywine Prime” makes amazing food. I will admit when initially wedding planning I was unsure of the carriage house due to the lack of online presence and photos of recent weddings. It is truly a hidden gem and definitely worth considering for your wedding day!!
