His list of songs he already has was so cool, we wanted not the typical wedding songs, and more of a pop/rnb vibe. I asked he can do Dangerously in love by Beyoncé when I walked down, and he nailed it! He was the one vendor I had complete confidence in, and never had to worry. All my guest raved about him. While their communication was a bit delayed leading up to the event, they were ultimately effective in executing on the day-of. The DJ kept the party going all night with a good song selection, though they did play 3 Taylor Swift songs in a row at the start, which we would have preferred more variety. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. We'd recommend HiMotive to other couples looking for an energetic DJ.”

“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

JUST THE MELODY BAND (JTM) is an all-star cast featuring a Grammy nominee and voices featured in tv/film and theatre. Led by singer, songwriter, and recording artist Melody Rodriguez, the band can be heard in numerous styles such as Latin Pop, Boy Bands and 90’s nostalgia, while authentically performing standards and classics with powerhouse vocals.

“Choosing Just the Melody Band was hands down the best decision we made for the entire wedding! Melody and Edvin (and the whole band!) are so talented, not to mention so versatile! My fiance and his family are from Mexico and my family is from the US, so we wanted to be able to dance to US wedding classics and early 2000s throwbacks as well as Latin pop, Shakira, and lots of traditional Mexican music and cumbia! We went into our vendor search having no expectation that we’d find a band that could do ALL of that — but we lucked out finding Just the Melody! They can do it all, and SO well! Our wedding guests were on the dance floor until 1am! They also learned our first dance song for us and performed it almost better than the original :) Above all, they were so kind and accommodating and fun to work with and they cared so much about making sure the evening went exactly how we wanted it to go. We cannot recommend this incredible band enough”

“They did an great job at our wedding & was amazing to work with. We definitely had a non-convential playlist, but he got everything we wanted & was super accommodating when we wanted to add a few last minutes songs a few days before the wedding. The setup he did outside was great as well & I thought it was especially nice that he came to check in on me when I was getting ready to make sure there wasn't anything else I needed. Overall he made the whole process easy & charged us an affordable price for his services.”

I found him and recommended him to my brother and sister in law who were also getting married, so we had him at all three of our weddings in NYC, in PA, and ours is CT. He was super communicative throughout the entire planning process and made each wedding their own. He felt like family lol. The app that they provided to create our own playlists and download our own songs was so easy to navigate and so nice to know we would have a good control of what kind of music would be playing. He was amazing as the mc as we are a bilingual family and he translated everything, everyone had such a good time and the vibes were always high. We loved the photobooth and even though for our day the printer wasn't working he made a way to print them all out with extras and send them over to us. “Adam Lomeo did an excellent job playing solo guitar at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Everything sounded BEAUTIFUL, exactly as hoped/imagined, and he was able to take 100% of our requests. Working together was smooth and simple, from an early conversation over a year in advance to a final set list about a week or two beforehand. He was also able to adapt to an uncertain set-up for the cocktail hour and did a great job. Highly recommend.”
