To future brides & grooms reading our review: If you are going to do anything right for your wedding day (besides marrying your best friend), hire Julia as your wedding photographer!!! We can not stress enough how much Julia impacted our wedding day. First, she has your back. She helped us keep calm and keep our timeline on track. Julia had a great sense of reading the room. She was by our side when we needed her. Second, we had a BLAST! Julia kept our energy UP (she's a Leo, if you know you know). She had both of us laughing, smiling, and overall happy. Even our bridal party and family LOVED Julia's professionalism and how she conducts group photos. My bridesmaids were obsessed with her and plan on using her in the future. She's seriously that good. Third, her photography style was exactly what we needed. She is super knowledgeable about poses, lighting, background, etc. She was honest and explained why she had us do certain pictures. She took into account any preferences we had (standing on the left side rather than the right, mobility concerns, etc). Also, be ready to get creative! Overall, Julia is the best wedding photographer we could've asked for and so happy she got to capture our wedding day! She does a great job of capturing people in their best light, even when they’re not posing. Based on how flawless our engagement shoot with her went and how stressed I (the bride) was on the day of our wedding, we were a little nervous about the pictures. The engagement shoot was so smooth and we vibed together so well. The wedding day was very overwhelming and we both were worried that it would show on our faces. But every time Melissa was around (which was often thank goodness!), we were both immediately more calm. We had to pause looking through the gallery because they were too good and we were crying too much.   We cannot recommend Melissa more! She is top of the line, folks!!!!! For what it’s worth, we are both 29, got married in East Lansing / Grand Ledge Michigan, and bought “The Ultimate Package” (which was super worth it!!)”

“My wife and i are very happy and thankful we found Sammy. We had a last minute emergency wedding due to my wife’s father being diagnosed with a terminal illness and not much time to live. Wanted to get professional pictures taken so to have quality pictures to look back on a few beautiful moment during a tragic time with my wife’s father. Contacted Sammy with only a few days notice. Sammy responded very quickly and thankfully was available. My wife and i were only mainly focused on getting shots of the ceremony itself and yet Sammy pulled off sooooo much more. The day of our wedding it was raining till ~1pm and the wedding was in my parent’s in law’s back yard scheduled at 4pm. Needless to say we were all literally working setting up decorations and rapidly getting ready till minutes before the ceremony. Somehow Sammy took a magnitude of stellar pictures of us all while we were setting up and getting ready, so much so that the number of pictures make our wedding look like a lengthy wedding day portfolio! Every single one of the pictures taken from our wedding are beautifully and consistently edited, and most importantly captured the crucial moment we were hoping for.
