Julia Cuddy
I’m Julia - people always ask me how long I’ve been a photographer for and the cliché (but true) answer is for forever. I’ve walked through many alleys that led me to photographing weddings. I worked for the Field Museum photographing meteorites during my college years in Chicago, then worked as a freelancer in the automotive industry when I moved back to Michigan, and worked in a studio photographing everything from seniors to pets. It wasn’t until 5 years ago I decided I loved photographing weddings and couples. I feel like they’re all connected somehow. I'm lucky I found my niche and even luckier that I got to run with it.

Julia is the best!
We could not be happier that we picked Julia to photograph our wedding! Out pictures turned out absolutely beautiful. She has such a great eye and was so helpful with providing us ideas for places we could take pictures, while also listening to what we wanted. She is also just such a nice and fun person! She has a way of calming you down and making the whole experience so fun which definitely comes through in the pictures. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!

I was immediately drawn to Julia's work. Her tones and attention to detail is incredible. Her photos are absolutely beautiful and you can easily tell that she is incredibly passion driven. As a completely added bonus, she is super nice, personable and easy to get along with. If you're looking for a photographer, Julia is your person!

I cannot say enough positive things about Julia Cuddy. To start, her photography skills are excellent. She is artistic, creative (no matter what the surroundings are), and fast (you won't be waiting weeks for photos). She is not only easy to work with, but she will connect with your family and friends quickly too - everyone will feel comfortable around her. She gives her clients A+ personal treatment right from the beginning. She is reliable and oh did I mention FUN to work with. She is familiar with the Metro-Detroit Area, open to driving/whatever the couple wants! She is almost like a wedding planner too, she helped me lay out my day and helped with the timing. I would recommend her for ANY type of photography - wedding, engagement, family photos, babies, etc. (I chose her for wedding, but I will continue to choose her for any other life event LOL). She will make you laugh, become your friend, and make you feel comfortable! I cannot say enough positive things about her. She will even send you some little gifts along the way - she is that sweet.
