Brooklyn truly made our wedding what it was — we could not have done any of it without her! Being new to planning a wedding, we had no idea what we were signing up for. Quickly into the planning process, we realized we needed help to pull off our special day. The process of finding a day-of coordinator felt overwhelming—until we found MK Events. Their sign-up process was a breeze, with a low initial booking fee that was incredibly helpful as we budgeted for our big day. The clarity with which they outlined their duties gave us the confidence we needed to know we were in capable hands. I truly cannot think of a single critique. Without Melissa and Kourtney, I would have felt completely overwhelmed. They held everything together with such grace, a fun spirit, and a calm demeanor that was not only infectious but grounding and very much needed on a day filled with heightened emotions. They became more than just coordinators—they were a safe space and a solid support system beyond what I can express in words. A moment that stands out in particular was when I had almost given up on the vision I had for our altar. I had 100% resigned myself to the fact that it just wasn’t going to happen. But Melissa and Kourtney went above and beyond to make it a reality. The way they brought that vision to life, down to the smallest detail, left me incredibly thankful. And the fact that they loaded everything back into the U-Haul at the end of the night was really an incredible help! Every part of the experience with Melissa and Kourtney was exceptional. Their calm and positive energy was exactly what we needed to counterbalance the inevitable stress of the day. We were even treated to a lovely surprise when they sent us some candid background photos they had taken and a lovely bouquet of our table flowers for both me and my fiancée, as well as our parents. Their willingness to step in and handle any task, from filling vases with stones and sand to troubleshooting last-minute issues, was beyond what we ever expected. These women are true superstars. We initially booked MK for day-of coordination because we didn’t realize how much would fall on us. We found ourselves becoming increasingly overwhelmed with all the tasks—decorating, moving decor, coordinating vendors and family photographers, and so much more. We hired Renee for coordination only. Then COVID happened. Our venue canceled on us and we then had to cancel our wedding. We had no idea what to do. Renee was there helping us figure it out. And, although this was unchartered waters for her too, she was so calm and got us through it. We are planning a new celebration hopefully in 2021, and so far we are so happy we hired Renee. We reviewed Renee on The Knot previously. Here is our update: Yes, we did replan our wedding and Renee was there every step. We had our wedding in October of 2021. Our wedding was small and intimate with all of our important family and friends. Renee is awesome and did such an amazing job organizing, planning and coordinating everything.

At Destination 2 I Do, we plan destination weddings in Mexico and the Caribbean with no planning fee to you as we are paid directly by our trusted resort partners. This allows us to fully focus on creating seamless, elevated experiences while securing exclusive perks, upgrades, and a dedicated onsite coordinator for you. In addition to our destination focus, we also offer other levels of wedding planning within the US for an additional fee and honeymoon planning and room blocks are included. As certified wedding planners and travel agents, we handle every detail so you can celebrate confidently and enjoy every moment of your wedding journey.

Communication was consistent, and we always felt confident knowing everything was handled. A huge bonus was that they our tracked flights which gave us peace of mind leading up to the wedding. Our wedding day was beautiful and ran smoothly, and we never had to worry about logistics. They never charged us any wedding planning fees and we still received a high level of support which was truly a win. We highly recommend Destination 2 I Do.

I started Bridals by Amanda after 17 years in the industry to be able to service brides during the planning journey and on the day of their wedding. I started as a receptionist in a local salon, worked as stylist, manager, and even as a designer sales rep. I have taken all my experience and all the brides I have helped to develop my Day of Styling Service. In my store front I will style you and find you the perfect gown, then on your day of wedding I show up to help with your look. We hired Michelle Knutson for our November 2025 Palm Springs wedding and truly could not be happier with our experience. We had a fairly small event, so we went with the day-of-coordinator package. Michelle truly went above and beyond just the day-of coordinating. She coordinated a couple intros zooms, got in touch with our venue and all of our vendors beforehand and brought us solutions when we realized we were going to be rained on. The day of she was a straight shooter - direct and ran a tight ship. But she was also warm, friendly and upbeat. Her assistant even took care of my dog for me and made sure he was fed and walked! We are forever grateful to her and her team for making our day so special. 10/10 recommend!
