Janet Abbey entered the events industry in 1995 and founded Sterling in 2000 — three decades and more than 700 celebrations across Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. She has managed food concessions for 1.5 million guests at the Cleveland Bicentennial and an NFL event for 90,000 attendees, so a 200-person wedding is comfortably within range. What that means for you: seamless execution, thoughtful design, and a planning process calm enough that you actually enjoy your engagement.

Full-Service Wedding Planning For couples who want it all handled — with elegance and ease. From engagement to final farewell, we manage every element of your wedding weekend. This includes design, vendor sourcing, timeline management, rehearsal coordination, and day-of execution — so you can focus on celebrating.

Wedding Management (Month-Of Coordination) For the organized couple who needs a trusted expert to pull it all together. You’ve planned your wedding — now you want someone to run the show so you don’t have to. We step in about 6–8 weeks before your date to tie up loose ends, confirm vendors, and make sure your day runs smoothly.

For couples who’ve started planning but want expert support. You’ve booked a venue, maybe even a few vendors, but now you want a pro to take it from here. We step in to refine the details, finalize logistics, and ensure everything flows perfectly.
