“Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. The music flowed well, and everyone seemed to have a great time. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

“We had the pleasure of working with DJ Wong from MyDeejay. A quick review of MyDeejay: They were excellent to work with. They paired us with DJ Wong after we filled out a quick survey about the vibe we wanted for our wedding, and it was smooth sailing from there. It's clear from working DJ Wong that MyDeejay vets their DJs very well and ensures they're all professional and great to work with. Now for DJ Wong: He's got all of the main things you want in a vendor--professionalism, responsiveness, expertise, etc.), but he goes well above and beyond those standards. He provided ceremony music, background music, reception music, and uplighting, but that's just the starting point of everything he did for us. We were PICKY and we had A LOT of requests, and he accommodated them all flawlessly and eagerly. We requested he alter versions of some of our selected songs to adjust for timing, blending parts of songs together, and very particular transitions between songs. He made everything sound amazing! We had not 1, not 2, but FIVE choreographed dances throughout the evening, and he executed the timing of everything perfectly. The sound was incredible! In addition to that, because we were completely over-the-top for our wedding, DJ Wong so graciously and excitedly fulfilled our request to have KARAOKE at our reception. It was SO MUCH FUN!!! We had a very particular vibe in mind from our wedding--we wanted our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner to be classy and jazzy, and then for the reception dancing we wanted a mix of Pop anthems from the past 3 decades--DJ Wong understood the assignment perfectly! We were also at a very large venue and he had to provide sound across many different areas throughout the evening, but he came fully prepared and did an excellent job. We received so many compliments about the ambience for the entire evening, and we attribute that to him! On top of everything else, DJ Wong is an excellent MC and can read a room flawlessly. He kept the vibes up the entire evening, and struck the perfect balance of engaging with the audience and letting the music do the work. We are so grateful we had him for our special day!”

“We had an absolutely amazing experience with David Floyd, “DJ Squirrel,” from Horizon Harbor Events for our wedding! From the moment we started working with David, he was professional, friendly, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding reception everything we hoped it would be. David did an incredible job keeping the energy and excitement going throughout the entire celebration. The music selection was fantastic, and he did a wonderful job reading the crowd and knowing exactly what to play to keep everyone entertained and on the dance floor. From our special songs and meaningful moments to the high-energy dancing later in the evening, everything flowed perfectly. One of the things we appreciated most was how easy David was to work with. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but having a DJ who was organized, dependable, and attentive to our requests gave us one less thing to worry about. He listened to what we wanted, incorporated our preferences, and brought his own experience and personality to make the reception feel fun and memorable. I wanted to surprise my mother with a dance and little script to ask her on the dance floor. I asked DJ Squirrel to read the script for me as I knew I wouldn’t make it through. He was very willing to do what I asked but offered a more personal touch!! He gave me the option to record myself saying the script and he blended it into the beginning music of the song! My mom lost it!! What a personal touch and such a thoughtful suggestion! The sound quality and overall presentation were excellent, and David worked seamlessly with the other vendors to help everything stay on schedule. He helped create the perfect atmosphere for every part of the reception, from the special moments to the celebration with family and friends. Our guests had such a great time and had so many positive things to say about the music and entertainment. The dance floor was full, the energy was incredible, and we made so many wonderful memories that we will cherish for years to come. Not only did we use his DJ services, we used his uplighting which made our whole reception space a party vibe, Photo Booth that was personalized with our names and even wedding flowers on the photo strip, and audio guest book to cherish for so many years to come! Frank absolutely BLEW US AWAY with his professionalism, talent, and personality! In meetings he was attentive, explained everything in detail, and really worked to get to know us as a couple instead of just a cookie cutter one size fits most format. QUEER COUPLES THIS IS YOUR DJ!!! As a queer couple, we were in search of vendors who would make us feel safe and welcome through the whole process. We absolutely found that in Frank! He was open and understanding of pronouns, identities, and family dynamics. He truly cared and listened to us about each and every aspect! We felt truly celebrated, safe, and welcome! On the big day everyone was telling us how well they could hear everything during the ceremony (it was outside and windy) and we gave alllllll the credit to Frank’s high quality equipment and skill. My spouse and I kept talking about how good of an announcer he was and how well spoken he was. Zero cringing on my end (which is HUGE for me)! His lighting and set up was professional and elegant. It didn’t take away from the rest of the decor while still lighting up on the dance floor beautifully and made for the perfect dancing atmosphere! Once it was time for dancing he kept the party going until the last song even with our small guest count! We had a blast and Frank played a MASSIVE role in that! He worked seamlessly with our planner and designer, Mia, with Little Acorns Events who recommended him! Our timeline, experience, and vibe was perfect thanks to their collaboration!!! We couldn’t possibly recommend Frank with PTEG enough! Trust me he will be the highlight of your event!”

“We received lots of compliments about our wedding, but our DJ was hands down the most complimented part. Like by a lot. I remember someone said “Lily. Your DJ is 100 out of 10.” and our venue coordinator (who has seen a lot of weddings) was like “Seriously, where did you find this guy?” and said they need to add him to their list of recommended DJs. I also had multiple guests ask if he was single… From the ceremony music and microphones, to the cocktail hour musical ambiance, to the first dance and speeches, Obehi was locked in and working the room to make sure everything went smoothly and ensure everyone was having a great time. He had all kinds of fancy equipment and was there early with bells on to get it all set up. It was all seamless with zero hiccups. He was out on the dance floor hyping people up, dancing, and just giving 110% all night long. Obehi is one heck of a DJ. I saw family members who I haven’t seen crack a smile in a decade busting moves on the dance floor. Obehi gets the people going. There’s no doubt about that. That being said, he’s also a really lovely human and we loved having him there as a part of our wedding. You can tell he loves what he does and loves people. He was genuine, warm, and kind every step of the way. He met with us a few weeks before the wedding and made us feel like it was his life’s purpose to get every detail perfect for us. And he delivered 1000%. Best choice we made for our wedding. Worth every single penny!!!”

“We absolutely loved working with Carol and Joey. They are an amazing husband and wife wedding team. We hired them just a month before our wedding when we realized we needed an MC, and we ended up adding Carol for day-of coordinating too. It turned out to be one of the best decisions we made. Carol met with Haley (the bride) multiple times a week leading up to the wedding to make sure every detail was covered. She has such a positive, calming spirit, and she brought a sense of relief even before the big day. That alone was priceless. She also took the time to really get to know our families and friends, which helped everything run so naturally and smoothly. On the wedding day, we had two pretty major and time-sensitive vendor shortfalls, and Carol handled both effortlessly. She kept everything under control without involving the bride and groom and was incredible at delegating tasks to the right people to make sure everything got done. She showed up fully prepared, emergency kit and all, and saved the day more than once. Joey did an amazing job keeping the party going. He brought awesome lighting for the dance floor, and he even set up lights in dimly lit areas so guests wouldn’t trip or fall. They both clearly care about everyone having a great time, but they put safety first, which we appreciated so much. Joey also took all of our music preferences and seamlessly wove them into the night so everything flowed perfectly. They brought their son as well, who was such an incredible support and a huge help throughout the day. A few weeks post-wedding day, they even hopped on a debrief call with us to walk through how everything went and help us give accurate feedback to our other vendors. Their professionalism, kindness, and genuine care went far beyond anything we expected. Our wedding day was so special because of them. We couldn’t recommend Carol and Joey more.”
