“The best decision you can make for your wedding (besides your soon to be spouse!) is to hire Hector. We bought one of the packages with music, lights, and photo booth. All I heard throughout the night was “I love every song!” Or “this is my favorite song!” I was worried that no one would be dancing and the floor was packed all night. We didn’t want the dancing to end. Not to mention that the photos from the photo booth were amazing, lots of great props. I had no idea how weddings work - schedule, timetables, etc. Hector patiently explained what should be done when, helped with music selections for cocktail hour and dinner, kept us on schedule all night, and overall was a really fun addition to the party. His online system is really easy to use. Also, I felt that he went above and beyond the call of DJ, seeing as my dress caught on the door as I’m about to walk down the aisle and have no hands free. He was there fixing it before anyone could notice what happened. He handled every curve ball With ease and minimal stress for me - like changing dates due to Covid, caterers setting up tables where the photo booth was to go, forecast of pouring rain for our outdoor wedding, etc etc. I was stressed out enough and I can’t describe how helpful it was to be working with someone who minimized stressful situations or took care of things without me even knowing about them. The MC's ad-libs got a little overbearing at times, but overall they did a nice job sticking to the schedule and making important announcements. Justin played with a three piece band for our ceremony (guitar, piano, bass) and cocktail hour (saxophone, piano, bass) and then DJ'd our reception. Justin made sure that the music played at our wedding and cocktail hour was tailored to specifically match the vibe of our dinner playlist. He even surprised us by playing one of our favorite Herbie Hancock tunes during cocktail hour. The vibe of the live jazz trio during cocktail hour was a perfect transition over to dinner. Justin then switched over to DJ our dinner and reception afterwards. He played all the right songs to keep the dance floor flowing all night. The team was professional, great at communication, very kind and professional, and they helped make our day absolutely perfect! Jeff, our DJ kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT!! When the music had to stop at the end of the night, the dance floor was still completely full and no one wanted it to end. He did a great job announcing the events of the night, made sure that our ceremony music was perfect, and he stuck to our wedding playlist with the exception for a couple guest requests (which we were happy to allow). We decided to add videography at the last minute because we thought we might regret not having it, and I am SO happy we asked Jim at Direct Entertainment if they had someone available for our day just a month before, and they did!! Jim, the coordinator at Direct Entertainment frequently checked in with us, asked us questions about ourselves, and genuinely made us feel like he cared about us and our special day. He was great to work with leading up to being assigned our designated DJ and videographer, and even after, he checked in to make sure we were happy and that all of the planning was going well. “Naked Soul (led by Tony and Tom Perrone) absolutely ROCKED at our wedding! Tons of friends and family told us during and afterwards that they were the best wedding band they'd seen, and we might be biased, but we agree wholeheartedly. They were also pretty great to work with, and as a result music was one of the least stressful parts of planning and one of the best memories of the event. The planning process was extremely professional — we had a few calls with Tony to talk over the vibe we were going for in the ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance floor. They sent over a list of a couple hundred songs in their repertoire and we picked 20 or so to anchor their idea of what we were looking for and selected our processionals, recessional, first dance, and parent-child dances. Our first dance was not on their list but they learned it and killed it in their performance. Our venue was a little non-traditional (relatively small room for the dance floorband) and we weren't sure that a full band was going to work in the space, but Tony put us at ease and pulled it off amazingly. One of the points Tony made in the run-up was that the songs we were picking were recommendations, not a set list. The band was going to follow the vibe and play more of whatever style was working with the crowd. This made it so much easier for us to pick songs, and in the end they played a lot of stuff that wasn't in our pics but went over better than we could have dreamed. I never thought I'd say that the best songs at my wedding were from the Backstreet Boys, Spice Girls, and Black Eyed Peas. They knew their audience and the place went wild when they played Everybody (Backstreet's Back). The range of songs that a 10-piece band with a full array of vocalists can pull off is wild. Anyway, 10/10, would book again. If you're in the New York area and looking for a party we can't recommend Perrone Bros/Naked Soul highly enough. Bonus, these pics were taken by Tony and posted to their Instagram after the event.”

“My wife and I had Lou DJ our upstate wedding and it was more than we could have dreamed of. From the beginning, he was nothing but professional. He met with us multiple times prior to the event to go over music selection, flow of the ceremony day etc. His website was very easy to use and allowed us to have a large role in our music selection for the day, even for the reception dance portion. Everything was reviewed at least 3 times to ensure there were no hiccups, and also to make sure we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the ceremony day. On the day, Lou came in very early to setup and his equipment was extremely unobtrusive and sounded amazing. From the ceremony to reception (and especially cocktail hour), the sound was fantastic and there was not a single hiccup (even with an outdoor ceremony and cocktail hour!). His flow through the reception was so smooth - and as a former college radio DJ, his music choice to fill in the gaps between the 'must plays' we sent him were impeccable!!! If you have a big heart for music and want it to be the backbone of any great party while having one of the most professional guys out there - Lou is 100% your guy. Thanks again Lou!!!!”
