That kind of responsiveness and care meant so much to us, especially in the week leading up to the wedding with things get hectic. He went above and beyond for our rehearsal, helping us run through every detail and setting up mics and speakers so efficiently that everything flowed seamlessly. It gave us such a peace of mind knowing he had everything under control. On the wedding day, Colin handled two complete sound setups - his wireless one for our outdoor ceremony and his main for the reception - and both were absolutely flawless! The sound quality was perfect the entire day; guests could hear every word of our ceremony and every speech crystal clear. There wasn’t a single hiccup. Then came one of the biggest surprises of the night - cold sparks! Colin and my husband had planned them without me knowing, and it was truly one of my favorite parts of the evening. It made our first dance feel straight out of a movie and the photos from that moment are unreal. If anyone is on the fence about adding cold sparks - DO IT! You won’t regret it. The Photo Booth was a huge hit with our guests! Colin recently upgraded with a printer which people were obsessed with being able to take home their photos (a little built in favor). It kept guests entertained all night long and added such a fun, interactive element to our reception. What really stood out though, was how Colin and his wife (who was his wonderful assistant that day) made everything so personal. They were professional yet warm, blending right into the crowd and truly feeling like family celebrating alongside us. Colin kept the energy flowing, a smooth timeline, and the dance floor full all night long. Looking back, we can’t imagine our day without Sound Love. Colin helped make everything easy, stress-free, and so much fun. We were randomly assigned DJ JD Mason for our wedding day and from our introduction phone call we knew it was a good match. JD was fun and personable and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. He even entertained the groom's request for Karaoke during the reception and surprised him with the Bears victory song after dinner (my husband is a die hard fan something he bonded with JD about on our intro phone call). He was incredibly inclusive in making sure my Mexican side of the family got their Mexican music included lol I was so happy he did that without us asking for it, it made me so happy. The quality of his work was truly professional, fun, and lighthearted, creating a wholesome atmosphere that all our guests enjoyed. He’s a huge jokester so a lot of laughs were had when he’d speak on the mic. He went above and beyond, always checking in with US before doing anything to ensure it aligned with our vision. He was especially thoughtful, noting that our son has noise sensory issues due to autism, and immediately lowered the volume to a comfortable level to where my son was happy and all of the guests still danced their hearts out. He also recognized that I was experiencing foot pain and graciously allowed me to take breaks to sit down. When it came time for the father-daughter dance, he perfectly faded the music to accommodate my father's history of foot cancer knowing he needed to rest. DJ Haze was literally the best DJ we could have imagined for our wedding day, and we are so grateful for his exceptional service. I’d recommend him to anyone! And also, don’t forget to do your shot of tequila with him before the nights over! Lol, HE’S THE BEST!!!!!!!”

“We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. I stumbled across the ingoing setlist after the party and was actually surprised to see that the band didn’t even stick to the songs they had picked - a sign that they adjusted based on what the crowd was loving. “Soundfire DJ did an exceptional job with our wedding on July 11, 2020 in Door County. The detail and hard work that was put into our ceremony and reception was really what put SFDJ above any other wedding DJ I have experienced. Shawn was excellent with talking to our guests and staying open to schedule changes throughout the night. He kept in contact with me throughout the entire wedding and was super fun and brought a great energy! Tyler’s music was amazing. I loved that he fused a bunch of songs that we requested together to make it more fun. He read the room and would play slow songs or fast songs at perfect times. Requests were always granted and they had an awesome selection of songs available. I loved that we were able to make playlists beforehand with their easy-to-use website. I also appreciated that we would get monthly emails with general wedding reminders of what is typically done that month during wedding planning. That was super helpful for myself who did not hire a wedding planner and had zero experience with planning events. SFDJ truly helped make our special day absolutely perfect, regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since our wedding in 2020, we have been to several weddings of our friends and family that used SFDJ simply because of the experience they had at our wedding!
