We are all about giving you a wedding unique to you. We go above and beyond to make sure your wedding is organized, authentic, and incredibly fun! With your permission, we’ll also donate your wedding flowers to a nearby nursing home through our Share Your Love program, free of charge.

    Best wedding band!

    David and the 11-piece band gave us the dance floor of our dreams. They brought amazing energy that was felt by all our guests. Our guests have been talking about the band for a full month after our wedding, many asking for their contact info to book for their own events. David made the planning process very easy and helped our vision come to life

    Amazing, your dancefloor will be packed all night!

    We always ranked the music as the number one priority for our wedding, and we’re so glad we entrusted David Rothstein Band to bring our party to life. Planning a wedding during Covid had many challenges, including not being able to see the band live, but thankfully, David has so many live videos available where we can see the entertainment his band delivers day in and day out. Those videos, along with David’s passion for his work, made us confident to chose his team to make our day special. For our wedding, we had a classical duo during the ceremony, a pianist during cocktail hour, a jazz trio during dinner, and an incomparable 10 piece orchestra to dance the night away. From the first note to the final encore, we were BLOWN AWAY with the talent and energy that the band brought. We had a few special requests for the night - from a unique arrangement for our ceremony processional to a mashup of New York songs during the reception - and David’s team was beyond accommodating. We had dancing for 3 hours straight and not once did anyone leave the floor - the band was able to feel the energy in the room and chose the right song for the moment. I stumbled across the ingoing setlist after the party and was actually surprised to see that the band didn’t even stick to the songs they had picked - a sign that they adjusted based on what the crowd was loving. It’s been nearly a month since the big day and people keep telling us how amazing the music was, and we can’t stop watching the many videos David took from the night, reliving the magic that his band created. If you’re thinking about which band to have for your wedding, look no further than the David Rothstein Band - you won’t be disappointed!!

The musicians wear black suits with white shirts and long black dress ties. Women wear black or colorful solid colored cocktail dresses. Very Sharp!
Yes we love learning new songs. We will give unlimited song requests. Choose the style, the artists and songs. We'll have them ready for you and your guests. If you love it, we love!
Besides our incredible talent, our musicians bring incredible high energy not just to new songs but to songs we've played hundreds of times. The band is excellent at reading the crowd and keeping the dance floor packed with ALL your guests. We're known for our versatility and ability to accommodate even very unusual requests.
We love special requests!! As a result, we have close to 3,000 songs in our repertoire. For example last year we had a groom who always dreamed of playing guitar at his own wedding. He loved Guns + Roses. So we learned the song, " November Rain". We had it arranged just for him. He performed the song with our 14-Piece band. I even bought him a black glossy guitar which all their guests signed!
We have a separate and complete ceremony department with 6 ensembles. We also provide access to our ceremony music director. Then we can give couples a solo piano or jazz trio for cocktails. Our ceremony and cocktail hour musicians are separate ensembles. This will keep a smooth transition from the end of the ceremony to the beginning of cocktails. We do everything 20% better!
Absolutely! We are experts with all ethnicities especially Jewish weddings. We dig much deeper to perform all ethnic as authentically as possible!. We have lots of experience performing Irish, Polish, Greek, Italian, and many other nationalities. We want everyone to feel welcome and acknowledged.
Yes we have a 3 million Insurance policy. We can email a Certificate of Insurance directly to your venue.
I started our music company with the idea that everyone deserves to get a wedding that's based on each couple's personality and preferences. We listen carefully to make sure every bride and groom has the schedule and a song list that fits them perfectly. The only trends we follow is what our couples want.
The sound crew will arrive 3-4 hours before any guests arrive. The sound and lights will be tested well before your start time. The musicians will arrive 30-45 minutes prior to their assigned performance.
We give each couple complete stage lighting, Seperate Emcee and DJ to play during the band breaks and after party.
Travel fees only occur for wedding that are over 60 miles from Chicago. The exact travel expenses will be based on the number of miles. Tell us your location and we'll give you an exact quote quickly. Our band performs regularly throughout the nation!
There are no sales taxes. To reserve the date, a 25% deposit is required. We accept personal checks and all major credit cards. We are the only music company that offers financing with monthly payments. People tell us all time that we were the best investment they made for their wedding.
