They were incredibly friendly and made us feel at ease throughout the entire planning process. On the day of our wedding, the DJ arrived an hour early to set up, helping us feel confident everything would be ready in time. When it was time to transition from the outdoor ceremony to the indoor reception, he moved quickly and had the music back on in just a few minutes. Throughout the night, he was very polite and professional, also considerate and made sure we got to hear every song we requested. He even graciously agreed to play alongside Andrea's 94 year old grandmother on her accordion. Grandma is still beaming from this experience, and trust me, she's a hard woman to please. Seriously. I don't think we can ever repay him for the joy and energy he brought to our night. “Smack just DJ'd my wedding two days ago and I’m still sore from dancing so hard. The night started with some classics to get the crowd on the dance floor and keep them there and he just kept the bangers going from there. Smack was very interactive with the crowd, many of my guests complimented how fun he was and he was always willing to take requests. “ASEDJ was a blessing when our original band plan fell through. Shockingly they had availability just months before our wedding but that's due to them having several DJs on staff, not just one. The booking process was thorough - they schedule a call before booking where they provided plenty of info. After booking they provided a website to plan our timeline, must plays, and do not plays. Month of you're given a schedule and are eventually assigned a DJ. They offer a photobooth, dance floor, a DJ with a drummer, as well as wedding planning. Idk if they would have been our first choice when we began planning but they were extremely thorough and helpful when we needed them the most! Only complaint was they didn't come close to playing all of our "must" plays but otherwise a great vendor and well experienced in tons of Des Moines Metro venues which is a huge plus.”

“Bill and John did a wonderful job for mine and my Husbands special day. From the very first phone call, Bill was very informative and reassuring that they would get the job done to fit our vision. They even came to the rehearsal (small extra cost) to make sure all music cues were exactly how I wanted them which was great as many DJs had told me “no.” It really helped ease my nerves knowing things were well executed and ran through the day before. Throughout the planning process, Bill was very responsive to any questions I had via email or extra phone calls. I did have a change I added in last minute so our dog could be apart of reception announcements and they didn’t even flinch at the last minute change of plans. They nailed it. They played great songs, surprised us with a gift after our first dance, and even kept bringing my girls and I fans cause they had us dancing all night. We cannot thank both Bill and John enough for helping us execute our big day! -The O’Havers”
