Professional Wedding Crasher & Hype Specialist

I got into DJing by accident. After learning that working as an Industrial Engineer in a fortune 500 company didn't bring me much fulfillment, a friend suggested I join his DJ company. His company supplied DJ services for over 200 weddings a year! After my first wedding gig I was hooked. It gave me purpose, and an outlet I never knew was possible. I quickly became the most requested DJ in the company and within my market. Now I DJ on my own, and I'm so blessed to be able to curate an atmosphere of joy where families can connect.

A pivotal thing that sets me apart is my ability to help people get out of their heads and into their bodies. I do this by playing feel-good music, the inflections in my voice, dancing with grandma, leading line dances, or starting a congo line to get the party going, and using my charismatic personality to increase the energy of the room, and keep the energy high throughout the entire event.

    I booked Obie for my wedding on April 7. I knew there were multiple moving parts to making a wedding successful. However, I did not realize the magnitude of having a great DJ and MC until I had DJ Obie for both. I was incredibly impressed on how professional he was from the very beginning. From my past experience, many DJs were happy to be picked and paid for a job. DJ Obie was different. He not only appreciated taking on the job, but he strived to ensure that the wedding would be a moment to remember, and without a doubt, he accomplished that. During the wedding and days after, I continually heard my (and my wife’s friends) say that DJ Obie did an incredible job.     To us, the DJ was a critical part of our wedding reception. We wanted someone that would participate with us and our guests. OBIE was an instant hit! He has the type of personality that fits in with many. Whether it was the older couple who had the most years married or the younger generation... he has a way to connect and entertain. He checked in with us to be sure the "feel" was what we hoped for and was eager to please. We highly recommend Obie!!
