That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. Despite those concerns, he was friendly, punctual, and our guests clearly enjoyed themselves. If having a lively dance floor is your top priority, he does a good job creating a fun atmosphere.”

However, even after going through the work of submitting a Spotify play list and adding do not play songs or DJ played the wrong version of our first dance song (I checked and we had the correct version listed on our playlist we sent over), he also played songs from our do not play list to the point I, the bride, came over to ask if he had the wrong list. He admitted he was using songs from the do not play list as he was not paying attention. I would also like to note, though our wedding was more casual, our DJ was dressed in a sloppy manner. His shirt was half untucked from his pants, there were stains on his shirt and pants. Besides a few hiccups, direct Entertainment was wonderful to work with!”

They felt more personal than the conglomerates with dozens of band. We watched them perform at a showcase in the Baltimore area and loved how they structured their evening with different pairings of band members and instruments - it helped us make an informed decision about the number of instruments we wanted to include. We were wow-ed by Amber at the showcase, and were thrilled to have her emcee our wedding! Communication with the band was very straightforward. We only had a handful of requests, but otherwise, let them play the sets as they saw fit. Truthfully, I can’t remember them taking many breaks because it felt like they played the whole night! Our guests continue to say how excellent the band was! For the ceremony, the band provided a speaker and a representative to press “play” on our music. We also had a trio perform beautifully at cocktail hour. One fun note: we opted for parent dances, and the band had no issues with my Bruce Springsteen deep cut. The singer even channeled his “Boss” to really sound like Bruce! Our dance floor was full from the start, and we loved the sets they played. We had a blast dancing at our wedding - Highly recommend Bachelor Boys!”

My friend had him at her wedding a few years prior and highly recommended him, and I’m so glad we took her suggestion! Ed has a great DJ website where you can add all the songs you like, as well as which songs you don’t want to hear (which is very important for me). He then creates amazing mixes with the songs and knows how to keep the party going. I was really happy he was able to find our first dance song, which is from the 1940s and not easy to stream from just anywhere (thank you!!!). Our dance floor felt tailored to us, and the lights were so fun. He also did our introductions and gave the guests instructions when needed. “We booked John with Power Play Entertainment for our wedding and are extremely happy we did. We did a lot of research into DJs during the planning process as we knew it was an important role and could mean the difference between a fun wedding and an awkward one. From the moment we talked to John on our initial call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Aside from reception music, John covered music at the ceremony and cocktail hour, microphones and sound for us and our officiant, lighting for our reception, and a custom monogram that turned out amazing. “Jeff and his team (dalton and charleigh) were absolutely amazing!! I truly believe Jeff is setting up white rose to be different than any other DJ company out there. The whole process was so easy and straight forward. There were no questions because Jeff always made sure to go in great depth and detail. I had a song my parents used to sing to my brother and I and it was their own remix of 2 song and Jeff remixed it so they could have their reception entrance to the song. He also did a custom mix for the bridesmaids entrance. It was amazing!!! A little back story, my husband and I had booked a differnt DJ company (who I will not name) and the whole process felt very quick. There was no explanation, we never even got to talk to the DJ themselves to see if it was a good fit and I was so stressed. I work at a venue in the area and met Jeff and instantly fell in love with his whole process and how hands on he truly is. I joked about wishing I booked him and he was like hey I’m still available for your wedding date. So we got out of our old contract and signed a new one with jeff and we are so so glad we did! White rose productions is easily unlike any DJ company period. You actually get to know your DJ and team before the process really starts. They aren’t pushy and salesy trying to force you into a contract. Jeff actually encourages you to weigh out all your options. With a previous sales background I loveddddd that because it shows he truly only wants couples who see his vision and align well with him and his company. I would give them 100000/5 stars if I could. I wish I could get married all over again and have Jeff DJ. We got endless compliments and everyone loved the monogram projection and the photo booth he had. It truly added so much to the space. The cold sparks are amazing!! Jeff has top of the line cold sparks that won’t harm any guests so it was so nice not having to worry about guests possibly being injured by the cold sparks since I really wanted them!!! Every guest we talked to said they never heard a DJ that good and that we had the best music playing. THANK YOU WHITE ROSE PRODUCTIONS!!!! Ps. If you’re like me and had a specific point in a song that you want to walk out to and have it all timed perfectly, jed is amazing and making that happened. Happened at my own wedding and every wedding we’ve worked together, at the venue I work at!!”

People loved the food, florals, venue, etc. - but we received by far the most compliments about DJ Pat. I (bride) never left the dance floor once... The mixing and transitions to pack as many songs in as possible was fantastic. We like a pretty broad range of genres, and he absolutely nailed it. There was also an amazing balance of music for different generations present - way better executed than we could have dreamed of. We also appreciated the pep talk for our wedding party beforehand, it really set the tone for the whole night! It was really nice getting to know DJ Pat leading up to the wedding as well. “We had such a great experience working with 3 West Productions, especially Phillip. From the beginning, the conversations felt like the perfect balance of professional and personal, which made the entire process so comfortable. Phillip truly became my go to person for everything, and that meant more than I can put into words. I also really appreciated my first conversation with the owner. “The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”
