“Where to start - Josh (DJ Topedo) is an extremely personable and professional person, first of all. His introduction, process, meetings, etc. were all extremely seamless, made us feel comfortable, really got to know who we are and what we were looking for, and generally a smooth experience from start to finish. We wanted a DJ who would actually mix tracks and take our inputs for song selections and preferences seriously and stick to it - and DJ Topedo delivered! From the App platform that is used to help provide timeline details, to song selection via streaming platforms, to even us requesting to mix in video game/pop culture sound bytes into the tracks later in the night - it was a super intuitive way to provide this input, and he guided us through it all (and reviewed multiple times with us). It's so nice to have that level of organization when it comes to something as intricate as your wedding day-of timeline and making sure the right songs are playing at the right times. This also goes for the MC aspect of DJ-ing, which Josh was flawless in - even last-minute adjusting the wedding party introduction order due to a mixup on our end. We also loved how DJ Topedo offered so many options for uplighting, video vs. photo booths (we went with the video booth), and even a videographer (which we opted for). He really does offer an all inclusive turnkey package for whatever you're looking for, it really gives you peace of mind. All his equipment and setup is top notch, clean, and it was a totally hands-free experience the day-of. Additionally, we opted for DJ Topedo specifically to DJ our wedding, and we couldn't have been happier. If you're looking for the best DJ in the DC area, DJ Topedo is it.”

Welcome to our page! I'm Maurice AKA The Covenant Child, and I'm the founder and lead DJ here at TCC Productions. Since 2010, we've been rocking events across DC / Maryland / Virginia and beyond. We’ve been fortunate to DJ at company parties, live concerts, private house parties, and more. But weddings are particularly dear to us. Hi, My name is Robert. But most people call me DJ Prime. One thing you should know about me is I love weddings. Big weddings, small weddings, outdoor ceremonies in gracious gardens, intimate funky venues, you name it, I've done them all. But don't get me wrong, no matter how many weddings are in my future, never ever will it be a matter of being there, done that. No matter how many weddings I do, all my energy goes into each. For those precious few hours I am more than just a wedding dj in the Tri state area, I'm proud to say I am part of countless couple's lives.

“The communication with Prime 1 Productions could have been better leading up to the wedding. While they did a decent job overall with the music and entertainment, they could have done a better job reading the vibe of the room and playing more of a variety of songs that got everyone dancing. The person I booked with was not the one who actually came to our wedding, which was a bit of a surprise. However, the DJ who did come was very nice and tried his best, even though he messed up the intro to our first dance a bit. Overall, Prime 1 Productions provided a serviceable performance, but I wish they had been a bit more in tune with the energy and preferences of our guests.”

“Your vendors will truly shape the energy of your wedding, and our experience with Alex from the Dapper DJs is a perfect example of this. From the beginning, Alex was so easy to work with and made the planning process so much fun. He was so enthusiastic about our day and our music choices and felt more like a friend than just a wedding vendor! We were looking for a very specific energy with our DJ and wanted to stay away from the typical over the top cheesiness. Alex could not have been more of a fit for our day. He had such relaxed energy and his entire set up was so in line with the feel of our wedding. We had a very vintage inspired day and his vintage set up and suitcases were such a great addition to the reception room. He executed everything perfectly and was even willing to operate our DIY disco ball set up. For the ceremony and the reception he was on point with all of the timing and cues and truly brought our vision to life.
