“We’d experienced some strange DJ moments at other weddings - airhorns, over the top transitions, self advertising - so we were feeling picky as we embarked on the first DJ search of our own. Celebration DJ stood out to us, and the ability to hire a DJ who can also sing and play guitar was an enticing combo. Brandon did a fabulous job bringing his professional experience to the day - we really wanted a packed dance floor and he delivered. The photobooth and its quirky props were a huge hit with our guests, and the GIFs that were available afterwards are so fun and unique! We also loved that we could collaborate on playlists via Spotify - made it easy and now we can continue to listen to our wedding music for years to come. “The Team at Precise blend were amazing! They were timely, professional and were dressed up in a suit for our wedding. They include a logo of our name with a design they can add to the front of their both. It made our wedding set up look extra put together. They have an easy to use app so you can choose the music you want. You can even add more friends and family on the app so they can add music too. They go above and beyond too. James was able to remove the vocals on a song so that the live singer could use it to sing our first dance song. The most important part, they had the best music going continuously at the right times. The dance floor was full at my wedding the entire time even though the AC stopped working in the hall and it was really hot in there. After my reception, everyone wanted to keep dancing, they didn’t want to stop! The DJ James, made the reception so much fun. My friends and family still talk about how much fun they had at our wedding! I would hire them again in a heartbeat, and will use them for my events in the future!”

“Ashley and Sampson were a great team for DJing our wedding! We had a very DIY venue that was a pretty blank slate, but the lighting and ambiance created by Sampson as our DJ really allowed people to dance (which we were pretty anxious about as non-dancers ourselves!). All the organization of the night went really smoothly too, things were announced exactly as we were hoping, tables got served food in great time, and we got to do our dances, cake cutting etc at a good pace. And I appreciated when our DJ double-checked with my husband on how long we wanted our first dance song as that was the part of the night we were most nervous about! I also appreciated the communication and planning ahead of time, and ability to send over tracks we'd like played or avoided in an easy to use website. We truly had all the songs we loved played, and all of the additions made were super fun and worked really well. My friends really enjoyed the night, and there was some good dancing for the older family members too. We had a lot of fun at our wedding in large part to Sampson's expertise!!! And Ashley was so lovely to work with in coordinating and scheduling, and was so professional with our coordinator when we had timeline changes. Thank you!!!”

“Trecee was our DJ for our outdoor wedding reception, and he was amazing! My husband and I were originally going to just play music from our phone, but I’m glad that we found and hired Trecee instead! With no coordinator and last minute changes before and on the day of our wedding, Trecee remained professional, flexible, and fun as our DJ and MC! He followed our song cue list wonderfully, and helped us remix our first dance songs just how we planned. He made announcements we had set on the schedule as well as additional ones requested. He also made funny comments, which totally added to the vibes. His music choices were just what we were looking for, and even with a request by my family to switch to slower songs, he did it seamlessly; Fun, hyped songs for the younger crowd and romantic songs for the elders. He arrived about 45 minutes before his contract hours started to set up and even gave us (bridal party) warnings and updates on getting behind or on track of schedule! (Which is very helpful as, again, we didn’t have a coordinator.) Overall, he is a great DJ & MC, and my now husband and I would highly recommend his services! “What an amazing experience working with Joey. He was very thoughtful in curating the music for our day and I hope you find what you are looking for with him. I am a wedding vendor of 15 years as well doing hair, makeup and morning concierge. One of my past brides at one of my most favorite venues to work at is how I was introduced to Joey. After coming out of the hair room I love taking a moment to walk around the venue and there he was playing the cello along with some background music. I was hooked. I love that he was incorporating songs of today with the art of an instrument. I found it unique and something I wanted to showcase at my wedding. I didn’t want people to walk up to just music playing in the space, but an experience. Joey took the time to do 2 calls with us, one being over the phone and the second being over zoom. He came with a detailed questionnaire of how we wanted our wedding to go. It was so detailed that even a music mood girl I didn’t even think of. The calls were scheduled for 30 minutes but he didn’t hesitate to chat with me for over an hour on how I wanted it to be curated. I had already started 2 wedding playlists, but he added and sent me 5 to 6 albums to fill out of songs I loved and wanted. I had over 10 hours of music to play and not only did he take those into consideration he added music that my guests also requested. He even accepted me saying change this song and only play the 10 year olds music every 10 songs He needed to set up in two spaces, one for the ceremony which was outside on our property. He was set up and playing by the time guests arrived. Everyone I spoke with loved the music selection, which I told him “Bridgerton vibes” and he ran with it. After the ceremony his assistant had music playing for the cocktail hour while they broke down the equipment in the ceremony area. I was blown away by the lights that were brought and the look of everything. Microphones worked for speeches and he even had a stand for those who wanted to use them. We didn’t do a traditional walk in but he announced us perfectly and we ran around the tables saying hello to our friends and family. I would recommend Joey to anyone looking to have an experience for their guests, have a DJ but also want strings all in one. He was professional, timely and for someone who did not have a day of coordination or planner very informative. I wanted vendors to do what they do best and I’m glad I trusted him to provide us with music throughout the day and night!”

“DJ Inessa was absolutely wonderful! From the beginning, she was incredibly sweet, patient, and genuinely invested in making our wedding feel like us. What impressed me most was how much she helped beyond simply being our DJ. She helped coordinate the flow of the reception, communicated with us throughout the process, kept track of important details, and helped make sure everything transitioned smoothly. When you’re getting married, there are a hundred tiny things happening at once, and having someone who notices those details before you even have to ask is incredibly valuable. Our wedding brought together two culturally different families, and she did such a beautiful job making everyone feel included. The music and atmosphere never felt like one side of the family was being asked to fit into the other. It felt like one celebration created specifically for us. One of our favorite moments was the flower girl dance. Our flower girls absolutely loved it! Seeing how excited and happy they were out there dancing was such a sweet part of the night, and it gave them their own special moment that they’ll remember. Their smiles said everything. Another moment that really showed the kind of person Inessa is was when she actually came out and danced in a circle with the little kids. She wasn’t standing behind the DJ booth simply watching everyone have fun. She got down there with them, joined their little circle, danced with them, and made them feel like they were an important part of the celebration. Watching the kids light up around her was incredibly sweet. That small moment said so much about how caring and kind she is. She was warm with our guests, flexible when things needed adjusting, and calm when we needed direction. “Honestly I ended up choosing Sean as my DJ for the wedding because he was the nicest and the most communicative out of everyone I contacted. I thought he did an awesome job at helping me through the process. Sean even was pretty flexible when I kept missing my zoom appointment (sorry about that) and didn't make me feel bad about it. He was great when it came to choosing songs for the big day. He also had the timeline on lock and was able to provide some insight. I love that I chose to include the photobooth because we can go back and look at all the photographs which is great. Every one of my guests loved that and was excited they could get each one afterwards. The printer was super quick too. I didn't even know we would have a personalized print with our wedding date on it which was a nice surprise. The only thing I would have liked would be that when the bride/groom requested a song that it would get played. Instead he asked if the venue was okay with it which I felt like wasn't a concern since I paid for both to be there. That was my only note for future events. Rick Flare Drip never got played and it's a banger. Sean also had another surprise which was Audio he recorded from the ceremony which I thought was a cute touch. Thank you for making our big day a success.”

“We reached out to Sutherland Entertainment for our May wedding at the Berkeley City Club, and knew as soon as we spoke to Spencer that we would be moving forward with his company. Spencer was incredibly insightful, experienced, and innovative in ways that challenge standard DJ services. He offered everything from full service music and audio with club-style transitions, to station and bistro lighting, and ensured that his equipment was elegant and well suited to the venue. His style incorporated both our personal music selections, crowd pleasers, and was able to adjust to the crowd. From the time our dance floor opened to the time it closed, it was never empty. Every compliment were received the morning after the wedding included some mention of how great the DJ was, and how our Tuesday night wedding had such incredible energy. Spencer had our wedding guests doing the worm, the splits, dropping it low, and singing like no one was listening.
