“Our experience working with Jamie and Ceremony DJs can be best summed up by the fact that multiple people told us after the ceremony they wanted to book him for their wedding and at least one got his business card! I can't imagine a better DJ, truly. When we first met with Jamie, he said he could make people dance to anything and would keep people on the dance floor all night, and he WAS NOT LYING. The whole night, the dance floor was PACKED even though it was rainy/muddy/cold/wet. Jamie took us on a journey that covered all of the bases of the music we love to hear and dance to, seamlessly and magically (?) integrating genres with the best mixes, it was pure wizardry and really captured who we were. We as a couple care a lot about music and wanted music that represented who we were and what we like to listen to, and he did not disappoint! So much prep work went into this, he took patience and time to try to understand our tastes and vibe, and it was so cool to have the wedding played on vinyl- basically, Jamie just "got it" from start to finish and we had the best time! Our wedding also got delayed due to rain and a road closure and he was such a good sport, staying late to keep us all dancing for a whole other hour- so fun! Also, when our ceremony musician was stuck in traffic due to the storm, he was so prepared and had our prelude/processional music downloaded so we could still walk down the aisle to the songs we'd chosen. Overall, such a cool, kind, funny guy who was professional and prepared in every way and honest just takes time to meet and know his clients, and clearly just loves to share his love of music. I would book him for everything if I could. BOOK THIS DJ. You will NOT regret it!”

Our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA, was everything we dreamed of and so much more, and honestly, a huge part of that credit goes directly to them. We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. “Working with Joey was an unbelievable pleasure. My now husband and I were quite nervous about hiring a DJ (naturally given it was our first time!), but the second I found and spoke to Joey over the phone in an introductory call, I knew we were in good hands. His warmth, charisma and incredible professional experience was apparent, even during those first few minutes. Joey is an unbelievably talented performer (he played live cello at our ceremony) and a well seasoned DJ. What we didn’t know when we first hired him, was just how much help Joey would be in helping us schedule and orchestrate the flow of our full wedding. We had multiple calls and meetings, well before the wedding day, where Joey kept us informed and confident all throughout. He helped us coordinate the music not only to the most important parts of the wedding, but also to all in the in-betweens, making sure that good vibes were always flowing throughout the whole thing. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better person to make it all happen. Joey is also someone who is incredibly organized and pays great attention to detail and timing. He kept things moving (even though that was outside the scope of his work) and made sure everything was on schedule. They were absolutely great and as we listened back to the recordings of the ceremony, the music was perfect. My husband and I wanted a forest wedding. For the music, some of the music was inspired by the video games we played together. I even walked down the aisle to a Kingdom Hearts song. Alisha and Nathan were able to play ANY SONG and accommodate to our unique tastes in some video game music! They communicated to us quickly over any changes or any questions that they had. Best of all, they surprised us with a song that we did not request, but we absolutely LOVED because it was from our favorite video game! They are two amazing, kind people who are willing to accommodate any song requests you'd like. My husband and I 100% agree that they were one of the best parts of our wedding. We do not regret hiring them for cocktail hour and the ceremony. All of our guests loved the live music and we are looking forward to hosting another event just to have an excuse to hire them again! :)”
