Craig has been performing as a mobile DJ for over 15 years now and still loves the craft and dedicates time regularly for practicing and staying up to date with current musical and wedding trends. He's an easy going MC with an ability to keep events of any size going smoothly.

There are DJs that are very skilled on the turntables and others that love to MC and get on the dance floor as the center of attention. Craig prefers to focus on reading the crowd and adjust the music accordingly. It's one thing to have a go-to setlist of bangers with seamless transitions, it's another to be able to take requests on the fly and keep all corners of the room happy, adjusting the energy of the night as needed. Like "Farmers", we know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two!

    My favorite DJ to work with!

    I am a wedding photographer who has shot and worked hundreds of weddings, and I'm not being biased when I say, Craig with Silicon Forest Entertainment is the best DJ company I've ever worked with. He is extremely professional and incredibly confident on the microphone, which is a talent not everyone has. He knows music and can read a crowd so well. As another vendor, working with him is so smooth and he's incredibly considerate of the timing of each event with each vendor in mind. I always know that if I'm working a wedding with Craig, not only will the clients be thrilled, the guests will rave about the good time, and all of us vendors will work flawlessly as a team. I recommend him to all my wedding couples.

For Weddings, we usually wear a dress shirt and tie. If a tuxedo or other attire would be more appropriate for your event, simply let us know your preference ahead of time!
We encourage you to give us as much music as you can! If you would like to select every song, we are happy to accommodate you. We pride ourselves on listening to our clients and becoming their personal iTunes Genius or Spotify Playlist champion. That being said, you will never hear songs you have asked not to be played, or genres you’ve told us you don’t like.
Of Course! We include 2 different site setups in our flat rate for 4 hours. Up to 3 wireless microphones can be used for Ceremonies.
We usually arrive 90-120 minutes prior to the start time to give us plenty of time to setup, organize cables, review itinerary with coordinator, and then change into our shirt and tie before guests arrive.
To start with, we play good music in whatever genre you want to hear! Mixing for us is something we do on the spot, based on the energy and key of the music and the reaction of the crowd. Sometimes, you have to drop the tempo to get the older relatives involved. After a slow song or two, and the younger crowd have refilled their drinks, we'll pick the tempo back up again.
Yes! Up to 12 uplights are included but we can sometimes accommodate more if needed. We include intelligent dance floor lighting as well. We also provide photo booths with background, props, and printed strips as a small additional add-on to your package.
Ready for good news? We don't charge for travel up to 100 miles from Portland. If you are in Bend or other locations more than 100 miles away, it's usually an extra $50 for the tank of gas.
