When I first started shooting lots of weddings, I would wake up the next day after a shoot and my wife would ask me how went. “It was insanely cool, and everybody there seemed like SUCH GOOD FOLK,” was a phrase I would almost always use to describe a somewhat ineffable feeling of being surrounded by GOODNESS. Goodness is often found at weddings, and it’s that goodness that we try to find with our cameras, microphones, lights, eyeballs and ears. That's how I came up with the name of my business. Meeting amazing people in beautiful places is what fuels my passion for wedding videography!

My clients often tell me that they almost didn't hire a videographer, because most of the videos they found online made them cringe. As someone with hyper sensitive cringe-radar, I approach all my films with the goal of making it feel universal, and making people feel warm and fuzzy inside, or get goosebumps, laugh, cry, and want to rewatch it over and over.

    Apart from my husband, the Goodfolk Film Co. was really the best choice I made on my wedding day. Mauricio went above and beyond to capture meaningful moments, and has an eye for beauty. Our video is without a doubt my absolute favorite keepsake from the day. He was easy to work with, responded quickly and reliably, was incredibly professional, and really made an incredible video. We also took engagement photos with the Goodfolk Film Co. and they are just beautiful, genuine, and such a blessing to look back on.
