    Hire them for your wedding!

    We chose Uncommon Weddings to cover both photo and video for our February wedding in Carmel after hours of research looking through social media, trying to find the best fit for what we want and our budget. We opted for their highest/most expensive package since it seemed worth it – and we were right! The whole team, Sway, Sean (lead videographer) and Camille (lead photographer) are very responsive from the start all the way to the end. Sean, Camille and their associates arrived on time, they were professional and worked seamlessly with all our other vendors. The crazy part is, I didn’t notice where they were at all during the ceremony and reception, but they were able to capture all the special parts, big or small, in a candid way that really captured how we felt during those moments! We also highlighted early on that our parents and our dog are very important to us, and it showed on our final photos and videos! They delivered the photos and videos earlier than promised and are very accommodating with all the edit requests we had! For the photos, they already edited almost everything we would’ve chosen ourselves, we only had to ask for around 15 more edits just to capture a bit more and we are very happy with the results! Camille nailed our portraits shots too! And the team handled the colors and edits of those shots so perfectly, there’s really nothing much to ask for. Their video portfolio is the main reason we chose them; their style is exactly what we wanted and they didn’t disappoint! Our final highlight video is so beautiful, so well thought out, and it showcased our wedding in a way that we will truly cherish forever! The reception and ceremony videos are so well done too, we are so happy with the results! Sean really has the creative eye for this, and his vision aligned exactly with how we wanted our videos to feel. We can’t recommend the Uncommon Weddings enough! Thank you, Sway, Sean and Camille for capturing one of the best days of our lives!

    Amazing Videography Team

    The team was amazing! So many special moments were captured on our wedding day and it helped us relive the magic especially since the day went by so fast that we couldn't be as present as we wanted. Sway was SO helpful and accommodating with our edit requests when it came to our highlight video. He listened to all my requests and did exactly as I detailed. We loved the original highlight, but we were able to add in any additional clips we wanted during the complimentary round of revisions which made it even more perfect. We will cherish our video album for years to come. Thank you Sway and team!

    Wedding Videographer Uncommon Weddings

    Working with Uncommon Weddings was such a great experience from start to finish. Sean and his team truly captured moments that made us feel all kinds of emotions. We work with new photographers ALL of the time! We will always reach out to your photography team, DJ, and venue coordinator before the wedding day to make sure they know we are coming and ask if there’s anything we need to know about how they like to work. Additionally, communication on the wedding day is our utmost priority! We’ll always meet with your photography team before any large events to make sure we both understand where we’ll be so we’re not crashing into each other.
Absolutely! All of our packages come with 1 round of revisions for each of the videos delivered. Do note that revisions may take up to 30 days to complete after sending in the revisions request.
Although our team is only allowed to use copyright-free music, you still are able to have input into which copyright-free song(s) we use in your highlight video. On your “follow-up call” with your wedding day of videographer, you will be able to chat about what mood/style you’d prefer for your wedding video. This will allow us to accurately choose a song or pair of songs just right for you.
Our payment structure is actually quite unique! Only 1/3 of the total package price is due upfront to lock us in. The remaining 2/3 of your balance won’t be due until we are ready with your videos – typically 12 weeks after your wedding date.
We will always use 2 sources of audio throughout the wedding day. For example, during the ceremony, we’ll record the audio by plugging a recorder directly into the DJ’s soundboard. Second, we place a clip-on mic on the groom and the officiant to capture the audio for the groom, bride, and the officiant. Don’t worry you won’t have any wires showing, it’s discreet. It also won’t interfere with any signals coming from your DJ!
