“Our DJ and the A Music Plus team was fantastic. Our venue was untraditional in that we had the entire rustic property for the weekend and one of my favorite things about a wedding is the dancing. I did not want to be constrained by a certain time the DJ would stop playing if I wanted to keep dancing with my favorite people. We also needed sound equipment to be provided. Surprisingly, this is difficult to find in the entertainment industry and if you do, it costs an arm and a leg or they begin charging by the hour, making budgeting exceedingly difficult to account for. Initially we were planning to make Spotify work with some speakers! But then we found A Music Plus. They were amazing! A Music Plus worked to make a contract and timeline that worked for US and was tailored to what was most important for our day. They were professional and responsive leading up in the final months of planning. But most importantly, they were a blast. Our DJ was comfortable on the mic when it was needed but didn't steal the show. He transitioned music seamlessly from cocktail hour to dinner and dancing and then really shined when we wanted to let loose and dance until 2AM. The vibes were spot-on and he picked songs that could actually be danced to and enjoyed! Thank you for making so many of our wedding memories possible!”

He also took the time to check in with us during dinner to confirm final details and walk us through the various reception events. Doing this was going above and beyond. As I mentioned at the start of this review, Jay kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! That is not often the case at weddings! He was upbeat, fun and kept the party going for us! Jay is an outstanding DJ who paid attention to the small things. He is worth every penny! “My husband and I got married this past August and I’ve been meaning to write this review for a while but we had a big move and time got away from us. As a wedding vendor myself I know how important it is to have a DJ that can balance fun and professionalism, but Joey Chang did just that. He was punctual, detail oriented, and our guest couldn’t stop talking about how good he was, both as a musician and as a DJ. I really appreciated the time and effort he took to insure that no details were missed. We booked a lighting package as well and our ceremony space looked even better than I could have imagined. Joey made sure the ceremony audio was perfect. Everyone could hear the whole ceremony which was really important to us. And when he played cello for our processional and recessional, the sound really filled the space and sounded beautiful. During our cocktail hour he played cello and did some beatboxing, we were so impressed and our guests loved it as well, they were talking about how good he was and how they could hardly believe it was live music. After dinner the dance floor was full the whole night. Even months later we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing, how great our playlist was, and how much they liked our DJ. “We cannot thank Justin and Lesley enough for how special they made our entire wedding. The first thing that impressed us was Justin’s app that we could easily load music into from Apple Music or Spotify and how organized it was for what songs we wanted and when they should be played (e.g. open dancing, cocktail hour, father daughter dance, dinner music, etc). Justin handled all of the audio for our wedding ceremony and has an amazing wireless, battery-operated set-up so there is no need to rely on a generator, which was great since we were outdoors on top of a mountain! He had a mic on the lapel of the groom and our officiant so that I, as the bride, did not have to worry about wearing one and between the two mics all of the ceremony audio (speech, vows, etc) was picked up flawlessly. At the reception, Justin had an awesome set up that looked super clean and modern but also had fun lighting to get the party going. He was an excellent MC for all of our big announcements and could perfectly read the crowd to keep the dance energy up. His wife, Lesley, was also wonderful as the photo booth attendant. I knew we would get copies of all the photos taken, but coming home with all the photos arranged in a guestbook signed by our guests was a nice touch! Highly recommend, they are a dream team.”
