Emma Cleary Photo and Video

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $4,000
  • Serves Oyster Bay, NY

After graduating from Parson's School of Art in Manhattan, I worked as a fine artist, my work involved photography and photo manipulation. I quickly discovered that I loved and excelled at photo retouching, and went on to work for some of the best photo retouching studios in New York. In 2009 I shot my first wedding, it was a dear friend of mine and the beautiful photos were featured in one of the biggest wedding magazines. I realized that I had found my calling and have been producing stunning wedding photographs with my amazing team and clients ever since.

I was referred to Emma Cleary via a gf who had just had her wedding shot and said she did great work so I was happy to get a glowing referral while trying to source vendors. Emma was a godsend for me, because my wedding had so much that I wanted to cover, with so many moving pieces (7 musical acts, 20 performers, etc.) at so many different locations (a memorial area for first look, then over to a Park for ceremony, then a boat to an Island for the reception) via different modes of transportation (car, ferry, boat, 2nd line parade) over multiple nights (we shot both Friday -Sunday am) but her and her team came along for the entire ride and nailed it and I got AMAZING photos for every part. The lead photographer was so on it (which we needed bc we were on such a tight schedule) and the other photographers were also great and told us jokes which helped me actually get genuine smiles and helped so much during the stressful first look. My veil blew away during my photos (before the ceremony, sigh) and they were there trying to climb the tree to get it (but it was way too high up!) but A+ for effort. And the best part was that she actually SAVED my wedding... we had planned on getting married next to a carousel inside a public park, and the carousel party coordinator didn't file the required permit we needed so a hour before I walked down the aisle the park rangers came in and forced the setup/guests out. Emma knew the owner of a nearby restaurant where she had shot wedding photos before and asked the owner if we could use in front of his restaurant (facing the water) as a ceremony site. If that had not happened then who knows where I would have gotten married. She worked with my wedding planner and my guests (and us too!) had a place to have our ceremony last second... she was a total life saver during such a stressful and important moment. And then at the end once we received the photos, my favorite part was the light editing which was just the right amount, not too fake, so was perfect. Some of the photos dont even look like we are in a city which I just loved loved loved and had said I wanted, and then when we wanted city or actions shots she got those too so we had options of everything we did in every way. There is one shot where she got the end of our first dance and it looks like we are in a Broadway play! Anyways, as you could tell I couldnt have recommended any more bc she has so many years of experience it helped us with not only capturing the moments perfectly, and in a perfect way, it also helped us bc she knows all the wedding venues and wedding industry people and I never realized how much that plays a part in booking vendors.

Snowdrop Creative Co.

4.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,300
  • Serves Oyster Bay, NY

Snowdrop Creative Co. was born from a dream. A dream that I could do the things that I LOVE, be present for my children and my partner, and create work that I am proud of. It sounds like what we all wish for, right? Well, it isn't always so simple as "I want this, so I'm doing it." I spent ten years in retail management. I spent long days away from my family, only to get home to them and be too tired to enjoy my time with them. My life was cold and dreary, and I knew something had to change. And so, Snowdrop was born. A place where I can create and love what I do. Capture memories and magic and joy in a single moment.

Alex photographed AND officiated our little last minute Vegas elopement and we had so much fun! She was incredibly creative and got some of the coolest shots. She even managed to capture those sweet little moments you didn’t even know you’d want photos of. She made the whole process easy, fun, STRESS FREE and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. The photos and videos turned out amazing!!! Thank you Alex!!!!

Davide and his entire team were incredible and professional. He also did our engagement photos which helped us break the ice prior to the big day. On the day of our wedding, his entire group was a blast to work with. Even when my nephew was crying and refusing to take photos, they were patient and made the family photos work! I could rave on and on about how amazing they were and how they made two awkward photo takers quite comfortable!

RS Moments

5.0

  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Oyster Bay, NY

Our style is artistic and documentary, and can be described in three words; Sincere, Scenic, and Inspirational. Sincere, we will never ask you to act unnaturally in front of our camera; we will adjust to your personalities and photograph you as you are. Scenic, because we love beautiful landscapes and love to incorporate everyone in such environments. Inspirational, because there is always a new way or a new idea to capture a photo but in the end it's capturing that special moment.

RS Moments were the perfect wedding photographers for our special day. From the moment we first spoke with them, their communication style was considerate, kind, and unique. They truly understood the importance of capturing our day in a way that felt personal and special to us. Throughout the process, they were caring, understanding, and respectful, guiding us through different poses and angles to get the perfect shots. We loved how they incorporated unique elements like mirrors, umbrellas, and the beach to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind photos that perfectly complement our love. The results were absolutely stunning, and we are so grateful to have these memories preserved. We couldn't recommend RS Moments more highly!

Coral was amazing to work with! We had the pleasure of getting to know her when we booked her last-minute to take some photos of my good friends' small backyard ceremony in 2018. When my husband and I later got engaged, we knew we had to book Coral to capture our own planned festivities for June 2020. When 2020 rolled around and it became apparent that we had to scrap most of our original plans, we couldn't have asked for a better partner than Coral. Her flexibility and encouragement during what was a crazy time for everyone kept us sane. We unfortunately nixed all of our other vendors with the changes we made, but kept Coral because we knew we wanted her there to capture whatever our day turned out to be. Coral captured beautiful photos of our two(!) wedding/reception dates and we are so glad to have those treasured photos. She's incredibly easy to work with and made everyone feel so comfortable, especially as my family and I don't get in front of the camera very often. We can't recommend Coral enough!

Oklahoma raised, Princeton educated, and founder of Portrait of a Young Couple, documenting how couples of all backgrounds and identities across the world live and love. I'd love to be a part of helping to capture you and your partner's love.

I met Vincent last year as he was a photographer at a wedding and I was the videographer. We instantly connected as he is the kindest, and most genuine person. He is filled with so much joy and happiness, and he truly made the day wonderful just with his presence. His business, Portrait of a Young Couple is truly inspiring and it tells you how great Vincent is as he captures these weddings free of charge in return for your story. I learned all about his business the day I worked with him, and he is so passionate and truly loves what he does. After the wedding, I was able to see the photos that Vincent took, and not only was he great to work with but his photos are amazing too. We do live in different states, but I hope someday our paths cross again and that I work with him again as he makes working in the wedding industry better.

If I had a superpower, it would be celebrating people. I'm my friends' biggest cheerleader and I'll be yours too during this whole process! As a documentary wedding photographer, I focus more on being in the moment and letting you be YOU, by reminding you why you fell in love in the first place.

When you choose Loretta, you’re not just selecting a wedding photographer. You’re making a new friend. Loretta - and her husband Juan - have been such a blessing to us throughout the entire process. From our first zoom meeting where her genuine good & joyful spirit came through the screen, to turning an engagement photoshoot into a fun double date at our favorite pizza place. The person she is truly separates her from anyone else you’ll select for your big day, not to mention she has INCREDIBLE skills with the camera. Both the indoor & outdoor portions of our wedding day have their own specific look and we loved the way she portrayed our beach setting AND the dance floor moments in all her photos. OH ONE MORE THING - our reception ended at 11:30pm on a Sunday. She gave us a “sneak peek” of over 100 photos within 12 hours that we were able to share with all our friends & family the next day! Our wedding day/night was such a blur, yet we were able to relive it the next day in every moment that she captured on camera. If you want outstanding customer service, brilliant professional photography and a lifelong friend, Loretta Rodriguez is the way to go!

I work with Ari often (I'm a floral designer) and she's one of the few photographers that I will basically drop everything to work on a shoot, project or a wedding for. She has such a professional eye – great at framing her couples, a timeless style, and the moments look candid and natural yet elegant and polished at the same time. And she's down-to-earth and easy to work with! A lot of the photos highlighting my floral work come from Ari and they are the ones I use over and over. I love her work that much!! You know those first few months that you fall in love & everything is so wonderful & terrifying & just so damn GOOD? It's that “new love” feeling & I’ve never been able to replicate that feeling with anything else, except photography. Your wedding day tells the story of your love. From that “new love” to the more comfortable kind, it is the culmination of all those moments leading up to “I do.” I consider myself the narrator of that day, telling that story and documenting your connection through my photographs.

We highly recommend JENNY for any photo needs. She’s amazingly detailed and makes you feel like she’s your best friend. We were both nervous for our engagement shoot and she made it a breeze! 15/10 would recommend!

Relive the moments as you experienced them. When it comes to your wedding, what are you most excited about? The ceremony? Dancing the night away with family and friends? Indulging in the emotion of the day? The photos are important so you can relive each memorable moment. But the moments are only memorable if you take the time to experience them in the first place. This way, you'll not only experience the moments of your wedding day - you'll remember them well. Who better to photograph your experiences than a husband and wife team who understands the importance of this day. And the moments that shape it.

Awarded Best of Zola
Where do we even begin with Ishan and Preeti of Ishan Fotografi?! Our experience with them was nothing short of amazing. My husband and I (and all of our guests!) would highly recommend Ishan Fotografi to any couple looking for talented, thoughtful, creative, adventurous, understanding, professional, responsive and downright fun photographers! I first got introduced to Ishan & Preeti a year before my wedding at another wedding they were shooting. I really liked their vibe/personality while working with the couple - they were really thoughtful in their approach and shots they took, had great ideas/visions and were really great at demonstrating poses for the couple because they're a couple themselves! I immediately reached out to them the next day to get to know them a bit more. Ishan and Preeti were very communicative from the beginning - answering any of our questions via email, text or phone call; inviting us to their place to see their work; asking us how the wedding planning was going; etc. We got along with them instantaneously and knew we didn't want to book anyone else. Not only were Ishan & Preeti great photographers, but also GREAT company! We loved every minute of our engagement shoot with them. It can get a little awkward taking photos in public, but Ishan and Preeti made it super fun and relaxed. That kind of energy and vibe cascaded throughout the wedding weekend. We were so appreciative of this, especially because they knew how to help us navigate stressful situations as they arose throughout the weekend and made sure our photos still came out great! They also took the time to walk around our venue and scope out the best places to take the different types of photos we wanted. We received our photos very quickly after the wedding. There are so many amazing shots we are having a hard time picking our favorites!! Definitely a good problem to have :) If we ever are in need of photographers again, we know exactly know who we'll be calling!

Celebrating the wholeness of life and the perfection of love I truly ask you to "stay gold"! My beautiful clients are couples of all genders, orientation, and identities who have found each other and want this moment in time captured in heirloom quality. We leave the churches and the hotels and venture into wild world, up the mountains, to the islands, into the forests, and out into the deserts. Stay Gold Tyler delivers stunning portraits, family heirloom formals, and b-roll candids that will have you laughing and "aww"ing for a lifetime. Tyler splits time between South Florida, New York City, and Seattle.

We got married in the Hoh Rainforest in the Olympic National Park in Washington state. We chose Tyler because we hadn't been to the location before, and he was from the area. He guided us through the entire process, helping us find a beautiful place for the ceremony in the rainforest, and provided clear directions for getting there (it's 4 hours from the city, deep in the national park). He managed to keep us laughing even when it started raining. My husband and I can be awkward in formal photos, but Tyler helped us feel comfortable the entire day, and the results were absolutely stunning!

Hey there, I'm Joy! Years from now when you look at your wedding photographs, I want all of the memories and emotions to come flooding back: the joy, the love, and the laughter. It’s so easy to live our lives, missing the sweetest moments because how quickly they fly by. Those sweet in-between moments that can be so easily missed are my favorite to capture. Whether it be your candid smiles, the tears shed on your wedding day, or your beautiful family laughing together, I find joy in capturing you being YOU! I love photography because through it, I’m able to share pieces of your story and create lasting memories.

Joy made us feel special and relaxed in the midst of a hectic day. She captured our love so beautifully and delivered photos that looked effortless and natural, which is exactly what we wanted! So much of that is owed to her encouraging words off-camera that made the environment feel comfortable even while being photographed. She wholeheartedly lives up to her name and brought sunshine to our already bright day!

I am a Long Island based Wedding & Portrait Photographer that loves a good adventure. I'm the guy who just truly enjoys being behind a camera. I definitely think I got into photography because my Mom always was behind a camera. Most of the time she was the team Mom, and was frequently seen on the sidelines snapping photos of everything she could. It was her interest in photography that led me to appreciate what it takes to create a beautiful photograph.

I cannot say enough good things about Mike. I’ve known for years I wanted him as my photographer and was so happy he was available on my wedding day. Easy to work with, flexible and extremely helpful. Pictures are stunning. I’m so grateful he was my photographer.

Hello, I'm Cheryl I'm a Philadelphia/NYC based photographer specializing in engagement, wedding, maternity, newborn and family photography. While working as a nurse, I found my passion in photography. My goal is to document genuine moments and provide results that you can cherish forever!

My husband and I were so lucky to work with Cheryl for our wedding and engagement photos! Cheryl went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and confident, and we were so impressed by how detailed, prepared, responsive, flexible, and kind she was at every step. Cheryl made the effort to continuously check in on how we were doing, learn our friends' and family's names, and make sure we were feeling relaxed, prepared, and comfortable in front of the camera and for our big day. Cheryl and Alyssa were so wonderful to be with on our wedding day, and they made everything feel so easy and fun. Beyond being the best and sweetest human, Cheryl also has such an incredible eye! She had amazing recommendations on where to take our photos, adjusted perfectly to accommodate lighting conditions the day-of, and captured so many beautiful moments of warmth, love, and joy! We could not feel any luckier to have worked with Cheryl, and we would recommend her to anyone! Thank you so so so much, Cheryl.

Keith MacDonald Photography was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the very first interaction, his communication was clear, transparent and made us feel comfortable. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations - he captured every shot we had envisioned, even when we unexpectedly had to shoot our first look in rain and sneak the bridal party photos in during then too. Keith made us so comfortable during our photo sessions, helping us feel at ease despite our natural discomfort in front of the camera. Keith has a true talent for seeing through that and capturing us exactly as we had hoped. He is a one-of-a-kind photographer, and we are thrilled with the beautiful memories he was able to create for us on our special day. I would recommend Keith to absolutely everyone and would book him again in a heart beat.

Kansas girl plopped firmly in the middle of Brooklyn—and loving every minute of it. When I’m not awkwardly dancing at your wedding reception I can be found exploring NYC with a large coffee in hand, hosting dinner parties for my friends, oogling puppies on the street (please bring your dogs along to our sessions…), or feeding my popcorn addiction at the movies. I feel damn lucky to have a job where I get to hang with the coolest people on such an amazing day. Let's have some fun and make some awesome memories together!

Sarah's top notch! She made us feel completely comfortable on the day of while producing a gallery that we can't stop looking at. She was great at capturing people's authentic joy and did a good job of balancing not interfering with the day and getting pictures in the midst of it. Loved, loved working with her!

After nearly a decade of freelancing as a wedding cinematographer and photographer, I’m excited to have opened my own studio, dedicated to capturing love stories. While I originally came to the U.S. in 2015 for a Master’s in International Business, I discovered my true passion for documenting life’s most special moments. Weddings are about more than just beautiful shots—they’re about preserving raw, candid emotions. My goal is to capture moments you’ll cherish forever, so you can relive your wedding day for years to come.

Veil & Film was the perfect choice for our wedding photography and videography. From the beginning, their communication was efficient, precise and incredibly patient as we navigated the many details of our big day. On the wedding day, their team proved to be hardworking, creative and dignified in their approach. They were very accommodating when our timeline shifted, and if we requested specific themed photos, they had additional creative shots in mind on the spot which was so impressive. We were tearfully happy when we received the final photos and videos - it was like reliving the whole wedding all over again. We are currently expecting and will definitely be using Veil & Film to capture our baby shower as well. This amazing team truly helped make our special day unforgettable.

Caitlin Cooper Photography

I’ll try to keep this short: I’m a silly, introverted, rule breaker with a sincere whimsical streak. Originally from Iowa with a decent chunk of time spent bopping between Minneapolis and Oregon, I love weddings + photography (duh), my nephew, a stiff gin + tonic, propagating too many damn houseplants, and my cats. Last I checked I’m an INFP, Enneagram 4, and Capricorn which makes me quite the pragmatic daydreamer + observer: as unnecessarily prepared as a Boy Scout, curiously creative, and hella laid back, all of which uniquely prepares me for the ebb and flow of a wedding day.

Caitlin is a dream. From the time she arrived to the beginning moments of our wedding, Caitlin right away was comfortable with everyone. She brings an ease which allows people be calm and we honestly forgot she was there, snapping away. There were many moments where she would check in and make sure everyone was good, the energy was so sweet. We received our photos right when she said they would be done. The work Caitlin does captures the warmth, and light of a love event. My husband cried the first, second and third time we looked though the collection. We will treasure them forever. Highly, highly recommend her! 100%

We're a pair of super fun wedding photographers, filmmakers + elopement planners (also officiants) and we're already your biggest fan <3 Award winning! Multi published! Featured in magazines! Neurodivergent! LGBTQ+! Artistic! Unique! Vintage videos! One-of-a-kind timelapse films! We love working with film + vintage video cameras, capturing little moments others forget about, and creating portraits that would make David Lynch + Alexander McQueen weep with excitement. Contact us anytime day or night and we'll be super pumped to get to know you and explain more of what makes us so unique.

I cannot recommend Requiem Images enough. I randomly found them on Instagram when I was searching for an elopement photographer. Being a photographer myself, I am extremely particular and was a bit afraid I’d never find someone to live up to my expectations. Not only did kitty meet my expectations, she exceeded them. From start to finish, I was impressed with the professionalism and love that poured out of this amazing human. I am, per my own designation, an incredibly awkward subject. I’m used to hiding behind the camera, but Kitty made me feel so comfortable. I honestly can’t believe the images she was able to capture. Her attention to detail and ability to make people feel at ease are truly a gift. Not only did I use her for our elopement, but I also subsequently hired her for our family pictures, and then my own branding session. She has raw talent and an eye for the extraordinary. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Requiem Images to everyone I know (or don’t know!). Book them immediately. You will not regret it!!

Our passion for visual storytelling and photography began over 20 years ago when we started capturing incredible stories, weddings and life’s most important events behind our lens in a little town in Abruzzo Italy, and later on we expanded onto South Florida’s warm beaches and New York's charm. As a worldwide family owned brand that started as a husband and wife team, our DNA is down to earth, creative and artsy. We are outgoing and full of creativity. No two weddings (like no two paintings) will ever be the same. Our approach: candid, photojournalistic, natural. We are here to capture the creatives in love. The real, the authentic you.

Acromatico is amazing. The quality of photos down to how they delivered our pictures was with the upmost care and professionalism. Marietta broke down pricing for us and accommodated our chaotic rainy wedding day schedule. She’s the best, so patient and kind yet the best photographer I have ever had. They are booked for every event we have in the future!!!
