“Michael Ramos with District Remix kept the dance floor going all night at our wedding! We shared some playlists with him for the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and the dance floor, and he completely understood the vibes we were going for and ran with it, working in everything from Irish folk songs to KPop Demon Hunters to Bruce Springsteen. So many guests told us the music felt just like “us” and commented on what a great DJ Michael was. As the bride, I even postponed changing into my “late night” dress because I wanted to spend more time on the dance floor! One thing that must be pointed out is how committed he is to playing his role in any event, he had a whole tv trailer to make things so much more convenient as a traveling DJ/ entertainment. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. “Overall, we had a good experience with our DJ. He arrived on time, was professional throughout the evening, and kept our guests on the dance floor for most of the night. That said, I did spend a lot of time carefully selecting songs that were meaningful to us, and I was a little disappointed that many of those selections weren't played. Some of our requested songs were included, but I had hoped more of our playlist would be incorporated into the evening. The only other issue was that, just before our grand exit, he approached us to mention that he hadn't received enough food. We had paid for a vendor meal for him, so I wasn't sure what had happened, and it didn't feel like the best time to bring it up while we were in the middle of such a special moment. They were super flexible and played all the songs we asked for- even some very “niche” tracks we asked for during the ceremony. “Jeremy did an excellent job, he was communicative and clear, and he helped to maintain the flow of the party. He completed announcements, ensured: the wedding music, entrance music, dance music, and party music all flowed and had limited interruptions. All the aforementioned songs were complicated, especially the entrance and the dances where he had to splice two different audio files together to create one coherent audio file. He went above and beyond, checking in on my wife and I asking if we needed anything when our planner was otherwise occupied. Would recommend, he’s a true master of his craft, thank you Jeremy!”
