“If we could give more than five stars, we absolutely would! Our son and daughter-in-law couldn't have chosen a more perfect venue to begin their lives together. From our very first meeting with Lauren and James to the last dance of the evening, everything was simply perfect. Their attention to detail, kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made the entire day feel effortless. Every member of the staff went above and beyond, allowing our family to relax and truly enjoy every moment. Our guests are still talking about the wedding—especially the food! We've heard countless compliments, including, "That was the best steak I've ever had at a wedding!" The food and service were exceptional. “We cannot say enough incredible things about Paramount Country Club—it truly exceeded every expectation. One of the biggest reasons our wedding day was so seamless was because of Alana, the absolute best coordinator you could ask for. From start to finish, she was there for us every step of the way and genuinely made us feel like no request was ever too big—she somehow made everything happen. From our very first meeting through the wedding day, she answered all of our questions and allowed us to stop by the venue multiple times for measurements, walkthroughs, tastings, and to drop off items ahead of time, which made planning so much easier. On the wedding day itself, you truly do not need to hire an outside coordinator—Alana is right there the entire day, communicating with vendors, keeping everything on schedule, and making sure every detail runs perfectly. And Maria is truly an angel. Having her with you on the wedding day is absolutely incredible. She steamed all of our dresses and suits, made sure we were eating and drinking throughout the day, kept the bridal and groom suites stocked with food and drinks, bustled my dress, and helped with anything and everything we needed. Her presence alone made the day feel calmer and far less stressful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, with gorgeous mountain views in the background (a must for me), and our photos came out incredible. Being able to stay on-site and get ready in the cottage is a total game changer and made the experience even better. Another huge highlight is the food—there are so many options for both cocktail hour and dinner, and every single one was a hit. Our guests are still talking about how impressed they were, and the service throughout the entire event was truly above and beyond. We would recommend Paramount Country Club to anyone without hesitation—it was the perfect venue for the most unforgettable day.”

Why you'll love this venue

  • Has a dance floor to dance the night away
  • Private area for the wedding party
  • Provides catering services

Venue considerations

  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Not wheelchair accessible
  • No all-inclusive dining options
“Tarrytown House Estate is a truly beautiful wedding venue and an incredible value for what it offers. The grounds are stunning, especially in the fall, with endless photo opportunities that made our entire weekend feel like the Broadway production we planned (Note: our wedding had a light Broadway theme that worked very well at TTHE). From the ceremony to the reception to the afterparty, the property offered a wide range of adaptable spaces, which made it easy to tailor the layout to our vision and comfortably accommodate a large guest list. The food was a standout. It was delicious, abundant, and consistently praised by our guests, both for quality and quantity. Many guests commented that it exceeded their expectations. The venue’s preferred vendor list and Ann’s suggested vendors were also a huge help. It saved us time, reduced stress, and ultimately helped us manage costs without sacrificing quality. One of the biggest highlights was the speakeasy afterparty space, which was a total hit and made the post wedding Pajama party, memorable finale. The venue is also very accessible in terms of planning. We were able to visit often, walk the grounds freely, and truly familiarize ourselves with the property ahead of the big day, which made us feel confident and prepared. The only challenge worth noting is that the hotel room layout can be a bit confusing, and the property is not the most accessible for older guests or those with limited mobility. That said, we forgot to ensure that less mobile guests were given the most accessible room and they do have a golf cart to shuttle guests around. We also cannot say enough good things about Ann, our venue coordinator. She was exceptional from start to finish. Her communication was clear and timely, and it was immediately obvious that she is deeply experienced and knows this venue inside and out. She was warm, friendly, and incredibly personable, and she genuinely made us feel like she was on our team rather than trying to sell us on upgrades we didn’t need. Ann was an invaluable source of insight, advice, and creative problem-solving, and she was always willing to entertain and help execute our more ambitious or unconventional ideas (e.g. a Reindeer Ringbearer). She consistently offered thoughtful, cost-effective guidance that helped us bring our vision to life without unnecessary stress or expense. On the wedding day itself, she was incredibly present, calm, and responsive, handling details seamlessly and making us feel fully supported. At every step, she made us feel like her only and most valued clients. Overall, we would highly recommend Tarrytown House Estate and Ann to any couple looking for a beautiful, flexible venue with excellent food, strong vendor partnerships, and truly outstanding coordination.”

“Joe and I had our wedding/25 years together celebration at Hudson Prime with 70 of our closest friends and family. I was looking for a place overlooking the Hudson that was reasonably priced. Floria was fantastic guiding us through the process, choosing the menu; helping find a DJ, even matching the printed party menu to our invitations. Gino, Arif and the restaurant staff were so attentive and supportive while setting up and throughout the event. Everyone had a wonderful time! The dance floor area was just the right size and the DJ played a fantastic mix. The food... exceptional; the high praise that friends and family shared for all the dishes they ate went on for weeks. I say, try the bacon! My only bummer was that the sunset was hiding behind the rain clouds. We did go back a couple weeks later and had dinner enjoying the sunset views. Highly recommend! Definitely made the right choice. We will be back for dinners in the future. Maybe even on an anniversary or two.”

“Our vision for our wedding was for all our favorite people having a night out at a bar and the 76 house more than delivered! We loved the historical aspect of the restaurant and they even had little pamphlets our guests could take that shared the history of the venue. This is a bit of an untraditional wedding venue (as it is a restaurant) but that didn’t stop anyone from dancing and having a great time. From the moment we started working with Elisa (our “wedding planner” aka the woman who runs the show) she was detail oriented while willing to work with us throughout the whole process. Whether it was from payment, table arrangements, food, getting the vendors set up, etc. anything we needed, she helped. The food tasting she set up for us was amazing allowing us to try various options for the dinner. We are both laid back people so we let the chef go with any appetizers he wanted. You are able to request anything you want and they will likely be able to do it for you. The chef did not disappoint, ALL of the apps were incredible. We had one guest mention he ate 20 meatballs they were so good. There was chicken, steak skewers, lamb chops, meatballs, hummus/veggie spread (that wasn’t even all that was served). We had eaten at the restaurant a few times so we knew the food was good. However, having to serve 120 people and still make it delicious is tough but they did it well (we went with the chateaubriand, amish chicken, mahi mahi, and vegetable risotto). We requested no pork or nuts for the whole wedding. We had a wedding cake through a bakery they recommended and they also put plates of small desserts out on the tables. Aside from the food, the service was amazing. All the waiters and waitresses were attentive and extremely professional. For us, we constantly had our champagne filled and asked whether we needed something. They were on top of water refills, drink requests, clean up, etc. We really appreciated the service given to us and our guests. We heard so many times during cocktail hour that every time someone turned around they had a food option. While we did not have to go up to the bar, our guests said the bartenders were awesome, quick, and generous! Elisa worked great with our other vendors as well, making sure they had everything they needed and that things were kept on schedule (food, dances, cake, etc). We had a completely stress free evening which allowed us to have the time of our lives. She ensured that our tables were set with the centerpieces, the florals were set up, and she created a menu for us (which is great to have something taken off our plate). Elisa also, set up our various signs and ensured everything was where we had discussed. We were able to drop everything off ahead of time and not have anything to worry about the day of. Our biggest concern going to this venue was the fact that the front room was partially separated from the rest of the restaurant. We decided to sit people there who we knew would be a bit rowdier and on the dance floor so it wasn’t an issue for us at all. It did get pretty toasty in there but we were dancing the whole time and it’s an older building. The air tried its best and while sitting for dinner it was more than comfortable! We are a crazy group so I’m not surprised we were sweating lol. This was the best day and a HUGE part of that is thanks to Elisa and her whole team at the 76 house. Food, service, people are TOP NOTCH. We could go on and on but ran out of space :)”

“I can’t say it enough that The Rockleigh should be at the top of everyone’s venue list. They were our 2nd of 3rd venues we were touring and we never went to our 3rd venue tour. My words simply can’t portray how magical a wedding at The Rockleigh will feel. As soon as you walk in we were hit with a “wow” feeling. The venue is simply beautiful and left us and all our guests in awe. On top of a classy and beautiful venue, the service the staff provided is truly unforgettable. They will be at your side the entire day making sure you don’t have to lift a finger and ensure that your day goes as exactly as planned (and might I say better than you planned it to go). The food was also the most flavorful dishes I have ever had the privilege of enjoying. I hope this review helps other couples decide that The Rockleigh should be where they have their wedding. I could not have asked for a more perfect day and that was simply thanks to the amazing staff and service The Rockleigh provides. Please trust me when I say you will not ever be disappointed while in the care of the incredible people over at The Rockleigh.”

“Bear Mountain Inn was the only venue we toured and booked it immediately for our wedding September 2025. Many reasons made us confident in booking BMI, which includes the sentimental value for us and our guests, the stunning Bear Mountain State Park, the gorgeous Lodge. What really sealed the deal was meeting our amazing coordinator Tracey. I'd like to highlight how incredibly passionate and kind Tracey is as a person. She was super reliable for us to reach and transparent in communications. I thoroughly enjoyed working with her and honestly miss her presence in our lives. I would visit BMI from time to time prior to the wedding and run into Tracey on the grounds, she would always pause to talk to me and catch up. The day of the Wedding, Tracey was on point! She handled the day so well, we didn't even need a day of coordinator! I don't know how she does it all, but I am eternally grateful she was there through it all for us. Now I would like to move onto the BMI itself! Our rehearsal dinner was in the Merry Go Round, I mean it was such a great way to kick off our Wedding Weekend. So magical and pretty. Also guests got to ride the Merry Go Round, which was a top tier memory of ours. We got married in the Perkins Ballroom & Harriman Ballroom in the Main Lodge. The space is so unique. I would tip upcoming couples to consider lighting options because it really does transform the space into anything you desire. Now the food, one word incredible. Highly suggest visiting their restaurant 1915, the chef and team cater the wedding. I could not be happier with how well it all turned out!”

“We had a great experience hosting our wedding at Whitby Castle. From the initial planning stages to the day itself, everything was handled with a high level of professionalism. Booking was straightforward and easy thanks to Ralph and Niki. On the day of the wedding, Roxy and Rosa kept everything moving exactly on schedule. Their coordination ensured that we didn't have to worry about the timeline, and the entire event ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was a major highlight. The chef did an excellent job, and the quality was consistent across every course. He personally talked to each of our guests as well. Our guests were genuinely impressed—we’re still getting compliments about the meal months later, which speaks for itself. We chose to use their vendor package and were very happy with that decision. It significantly simplified the planning process, and the results were exactly what we had hoped for. Overall, Whitby Castle delivered a fantastic day. It’s a beautiful spot, but the service and the kitchen are what really set it apart. Highly recommended.”
