Living in Arizona has been such an experience because it really is so much more than desert, and it's allowed me to turn my small photography business into an international venture! I photographed my first wedding in 2015, but I've been a photographer even longer. I got my first camera when I was 8 years old and learned how to develop my own film in my neighbors garage. I served twenty years in the Coast Guard as a Helicopter Rescue Swimmer and performed a year of National service with Americorps. Upon retirement, I returned to school using my GI bill to study my lifelong hobby and passion: Art and photography. I attended the Art Institute of Seattle for over two years until their closure.
