  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $5,600
  • Serves Oro Valley, AZ

Hey, I'm Caitlin! I've lived in Arizona since 2010, but I'm a PNW girl through and through! Living in Arizona has been such an experience because it really is so much more than desert, and it's allowed me to turn my small photography business into an international venture! I photographed my first wedding in 2015, but I've been a photographer even longer. I got my first camera when I was 8 years old and learned how to develop my own film in my neighbors garage. I'm a momma to 3 rad kiddos, love traveling with my family, a complete & utter history nerd - you should see my NatGeo magazine collection! I can't wait to meet you!

Her communication style was incredibly timely, which helped us feel organized and on top of planning. On the day of the wedding, Caitlin's expertise was invaluable - she helped us map out the timeline and gracefully guided us and our guests through the various moments, ensuring we stayed on schedule. Caitlin's work is truly dreamy; her unique and artistic style captured all the special details and genuine emotions of our day in the most beautiful way. I love Caitlin's work dearly, and she made every part of the experience with her feel truly special. We are so grateful to have had Caitlin as our photographer and would recommend her to any couple looking for someone to beautifully document their wedding day.

Angel Ormand Photography
Rating: 5.0 (9 reviews)
  • Photojournalistic style
  • Starts at $900
  • Serves Oro Valley, AZ

I am a Tucson native, military wife and momma. I met my husband here in Tucson, then, we got married and moved to England for a year! Then, after that, we moved to Italy for 5 years, then to Las Vegas for a year, then back here to be close to family. I love to travel, explore, read, go thrifting, antiquing, love doing DIY projects, and I love getting creative for spontaneous photoshoots! My style is warm, moody and bold, candid/documentary and I absolutely love black and white photos! I've done photography for about 10 years for myself but I love to capture beautiful moments for others and share how beautiful I find things behind the lens.

Angel was amazing to work with! She was so patient with our little one and made my partner feel completely comfortable, even with posing. When the light started to fade, she adjusted effortlessly and the photos came out absolutely gorgeous. The blue hour shots are stunning. She’s quick, clear with instructions, and made the whole session feel relaxed and fun. Highly recommend!

I present fun, elegant, and exciting Wedding Photography for my clients. My style is photojournalistic; I feel it's the most effective way to tell a story. After all, there is so much happening on a wedding day. Between the ceremony, dancing, and endless extravaganzas, the most memorable moments will naturally occur.  My goal is to capture the emotions and memories of your day through my lens. These recollections are your forever keepsakes, a chapter of your life's story. Every image accounts for those who were by your side, delighted for you, and the next step in your journey. I appreciate you for giving me a few moments of your time.t

My husband and I were from out of town and hired Sean to photograph us at a Christmas gala at the place we got married. He was accommodating to last minute changes to make the most of the session and even went above and beyond to make it happen. Upon first impression, he was upbeat and had a vision. We were outside in sub 30 degree weather with fading evening light as well as low light inside a building and he was up for the challenge. We ended up with beautiful images in less than ideal conditions and that is what makes a great photographer. Sean has a sense of humor and an eye for that perfect photograph. He was fun to work with and his heart for people and creativity shows through. Thank you Sean for capturing this time in our lives.

Big fan of dive bars, staring at the stars, forever searching for the best french fries, a blissfully cold Diet Coke, and a true midwestern why fly it's only 15 hours. I love carefree messy in between moments, photographing my daily life on polaroids and film. I've lived a lot of places (Arizona, Arkansas, and Puerto Rico to name a few!) and have so many places that I treasure and feel at home.

When I was in the throes of wedding planning over a year ago, I was reaching out to vendors and putting payments down for June 2, 2024, and was crossing my fingers my deployed fiancé would even be able to attend, thanks to his unpredictable schedule. Amidst the stress (and borderline panic attacks!!) I was having because of that, I was also receiving a lieu of impersonal emails with quotes from photographers. When I got the email back from Jessica, she was the only one who answered with excitement and personality, and gave me a sense that this was supposed to be FUN. All this wedding planning was a very lucky sort of stress, and she didn’t make me feel like I was just some box to check off in her inbox— she was personable and friendly, and I liked her immediately. For the course of the year, Jessica and I kept up with eachother with texts, messages, and Instagram— and I felt like she was already a friend when June arrived. Even after her 12 hour journey to Virginia, she was full of energy and ready to go. She helped adjust some coordination timelines and caught things that I otherwise wouldn’t have. She hung out with my rambunctious family all weekend, witnessing our love and laughter, WIDE range of personalities, and even some sisterly tiffs. Honestly, she whole-heartedly became part of our crew. She ran everything past me when it came to details. Duke and I are not people who are comfortable in front of a camera, and I LOVED having her specifically tell us what to do to look good, while still feeling incredibly relaxed and natural around her. Duke and I kept saying she had Jedi powers the way she was able to flip cameras, batteries and equipment seamlessly. I’m writing this while in the airport leaving our honeymoon, and not only did Duke and I, and our families fall in love with Jessica— I still have guests reaching out to me via text to tell me how they hit it off with her on their own, how impressed they were with her ethic, or how they loved pictures from our sneak peek (eeeek!) I am not a girl who naturally feels pretty or comfortable in front of a camera. Jessica gave me the gift of finally experiencing both of those things on our special day. I felt beautiful and at ease. She captured the bridal portraits that I hope my great grandkids will put in their family tree projects for school one day, some of Dukes family and mine meeting for the first time, friends dancing, and our grandparents mingling and giving us their love. Duke and I knew our big white wedding would be our one chance to have everyone we love in one place. We are well aware of the rarity in that, and the fact that we don’t have much longer with some of those people we love. We’re well aware that these are the photos Duke and I will be looking at with our grandchildren when we’re old and grey, thinking about “the good ol’ days.” These photos are all we will have left one day of the people we love so fiercely, and these versions of ourselves. We will endlessly be grateful for Jessica of her effort and the labor that went into photographing a weekend like ours. She captured every single aspect of us and those we love, and above all us, gave us the gift of memory. 3 Faith and Duke

Hey there! I’m Emma. I’m a sassy, sarcastic redhead and also a complete sap. To keep it short, I value relationships and experiences above nothing else (although some would say I have a serious West Elm and pizza addiction as well). I love reminiscing and think some of the best nights involve sharing a bottle of wine with old friends and laughing about all of our past adventures (while planning new ones too!). When I think about it, I know I was meant to be a wedding photographer - because I admire your relationship, understand how important this journey to marriage is for you two and understand the importance of documenting it.

Emma and her team were so amazing! Working with Emma before the wedding was seamless; she created a timeline that really helped with planning. We had Kayla and Almida for our photographers the day of and they were truly fantastic. So easy to work with and the pictures are so beautiful. Highly recommend!

Diana and Isiah truly made our elopement one of the most incredible days of our lives. From the very first meeting, Diana and Isiah were nothing but helpful, responsive, and patient. We decided shortly before the wedding that we wanted to have night shots. Diana was able to provide us with some examples of her previous night shoots and helped us pick out the perfect location. The entire planning process was significantly easier with Diana’s assistance. She also checked in just enough to ensure we were feeling ready for the big day. Isiah was able to help us decide all of the big details for our ceremony and made it feel uniquely us. On the big day, we were so thankful for Diana and Isiah. As soon as they arrived for the getting-ready photos, my stress disappeared. Diana took all the shots that we wanted and was a true professional in setting everything up. Isaiah was our officiant and did an amazing job During and after our actual ceremony, both Diana and Isiah were lifesavers. Diana was able to get photos that weren’t overly posed and really felt like us as a couple. Isiah did an amazing job with our ceremony and was also there to assist with everything else, from helping us up steep rocks to carrying items for the photos. We are so thankful we went with Love and Latitudes for our elopement. We can’t sing their praise enough, and would pick them again in a heartbeat.

I photograph with the understanding that one day, these images will become part of a family’s most treasured history. Long after the day has passed, they will hold the light, the emotion, and the quiet beauty that words cannot. My approach is rooted in presence—observing with care, honoring what unfolds naturally, and preserving the fleeting moments that often matter most. I believe photographs should do more than document how things looked; they should return you to how it felt to be there, surrounded by love, meaning, and connection.

From start to finish, JayDee and his team at Pluvia Studios were nothing short of exceptional! JayDee's attentive and thorough communication made navigating my sister's wedding preparations an absolute breeze. On the big day, he ensured our entire group felt completely relaxed and genuinely at ease, a testament to his clear vision and the team's seamless execution. The moment we received the notification that our photos and videos were ready, our excitement was palpable. Viewing them filled us with tears of joy and overwhelming love, as each beautifully captured memory transported us right back to the wedding day. I wholeheartedly recommend JayDee and Pluvia Studios to anyone seeking top-quality photography and videography to capture their most cherished moments.
