Hotel Cleveland was an incredible venue for our Friday night welcome event, room block, and after party. From the start, the staff was quick to respond, incredibly helpful, and productive in working with us to plan our special weekend. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, and the renovations are stunning, with a unique and upscale aesthetic that provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. When we encountered an issue with our original event space, the team quickly recalibrated and moved us to another gorgeous area of the hotel, ensuring our welcome event went off without a hitch. The staff was extremely pleasant and attentive throughout the entire event, as well as our guests in the room block. We could not have asked for a more beautiful, unique, and updated venue to host our guests across the wedding weekend. The service, ideas, and personal attention the team at The Madison give each event is incredible. From our first meeting with them, we knew they were the team for us to create a successful and memorable wedding. They offer a variety of bar package tiers to fit your budget and are able to accommodate custom / signature drinks for an additional personal touch. The bar staff they provide are true sweethearts. When it comes to load in / setup, they are there to not only help you, but are willing to accommodate anything and everything you may need. We had our wedding reception at St. Clair Ballroom in July 2024 (about 200 guests) and it was everything we could have hoped for! We loved working with Carla, she does an amazing job and was there for us every step of the way. We received so many compliments on the food and service. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. The elegant style and windows looking out over downtown gives the room a more elevated feel compared to most of the other ballrooms we visited. We can’t recommend St. Clair Ballroom enough!

Collision Bend Brewing Company

Located on the banks of the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland’s Flats District, the brewery is housed in the newly renovated Hausheer Building on Old River Road. Built in 1863, the site first served as a chandlery, where Civil-War era-merchant ships stockpiled supplies before setting sail onto the Great Lakes. Opened in 2012, the event center is unmatched in providing for a memorable event with unforgettable sunset views over Lake Erie and a perfect view of the Cleveland Skyline.

This venue is unreal. The rooftop is just so cool and unique and the views are incredible. The fourth floor reception space was beautiful as well. So many of our guests told us how much they loved the vibe of the venue. There are so many beautiful photo locations throughout the building inside and outside. Tracey was amazing to work with - it was so clear she knew what she was doing and I never had to stress at all. The midges came out the week of our October wedding so we had to make a decision about the rooftop, but Tracey was so helpful and luckily we were able to do rooftop ceremony and serve cocktail hour food and drinks on the fourth floor. It is so cool that the rooftop stays open all night - our guests loved it! Also, the bar staff was incredible and the drinks were amazing! The bride and groom suites were so convenient too. It was so nice for our bridal parties to hang out there all morning and made clean up so easy and flexible.

Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. My husband and I were married at Laplace in September 2020. It was perfect! They have bridal suites for getting ready and a few different options for ceremony and receptions depending on your style. I loved how easy everything was. We didn't have to worry about anything at all. The set up was done for us. The clean up was done for us. We were able to pick and choose colors, decor, lighting, etc. The food was amazing! It was hot and fresh which is different than other weddings I've attended. For a stress free wedding or any event, this is definitely the place to go!

Working with Angelica was an absolute pleasure! She brought our vision to life perfectly—the ceremony and reception were everything we hoped for and truly beautiful. We also held our rehearsal dinner here the night before and it was great. The food for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding was spectacular! Wedding venue shopping is a lot on a couple. It takes time and energy and can be very stressful. However, when we say we found the perfect place we mean it. Donauschwaben’s was one of our venue choices coming highly recommended by our friends and family already. We reached out through their website and within no time we got an immediate response from the Christine, Event/ Wedding planner to set up a meeting together. She is not only extremely kind, but had everything organized so beautifully to choose from it was a no-brainer to choose this venue. She even recommended our DJ who had played a previous wedding there who was incredible. All communication leading up to our big day was efficient and layed out easily for us to understand. Our checks were deposited in a timely manner by the venue, our tasting was so nice and so delicious. The no pressure wedding planning was worth every penny spent. Our wedding day was so special and so beautiful from start to finish from the ceremony, to the cocktail hour, to our lovely reception to follow. Not only was Christine present the day of, but the staff was also on their A game all night long. Everyone was so incredibly friendly and kind, we felt like royalty. We both highly recommend this venue and if you do, definitely get the Schnitzel, Prost! The only recommendation to the venue would be to update their beverage packages to include seltzers such as High noons or White claws. I cannot begin to describe how happy we are that we booked Basil Place for our wedding. I planned our Cleveland wedding from out-of-state, and Michelle from the get-go was so flexible in setting up tours for my family and fiancé when we got into town. First, I'll speak about the venue itself: it is absolutely the most beautiful place I've ever seen. The whole farm is surrounded by beautiful nature, trees, and ponds, and rolling pastures. We were able to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony, get ready in the carriage house, and use the manor house for pictures, hanging out, and pre-wedding snacks. Our reception was in the barn, which is so gorgeous and opens up onto a patio with views of rolling fields and reflecting ponds (which are stocked with bass if you feel like fishing like some of our guests did!) There was so much space for our reception we were able to set up cornhole and spikeball outside the barn which made for such a fun evening. Our guest loved taking pictures all around the property. I cannot say enough good things about how perfect this venue was for our wedding! I also have to mention how absolutely wonderful and above and beyond Michelle and her staff were throughout every step of the wedding process. Michelle truly feels like family to us. She made the process so easy and was so accommodating to all of our requests. She checked on us so many times leading up to and the day of the wedding- we truly felt so taken care of It is so apparent that this is not just a business to her, but truly her passion. Their preferred caterer, A Taste Of Excellence, was hands-down the best experience with a caterer we've ever had. Mikaela was so kind and flexible, and the food was absolutely to die for we were so impressed with them that we had them cater our welcome dinner as well. They do so many weddings at basil place that they are very familiar with set up and where to go, which makes for that much smoother of a day. All the catering staff were so kind and friendly and added to the positive atmosphere. In summary, if we could go back in time, we would choose Basil Place 100 times over!!

Whitehall was the perfect choice for our wedding! I was apprehensive about having a big wedding at all and was perfectly content with eloping or going to a courthouse, but ultimately decided to have a wedding for our families and the memories. Julia at Whitehall made this entire experience such a dream for my now-husband and I. She’s the venue coordinator but is also an angel that every bride deserves in the months leading up to her wedding and on her wedding day. She answered every stupid question I had very quickly, and is on top of things with sending emails to remind you about scheduling your rehearsal, nailing down your timelines, etc. One of the best parts about this venue is that you drop all of your decor off on the Tuesday before your wedding and they set everything up for you throughout the week! I literally didn’t have to think about a thing and could just spend the days before relaxing and tying up loose ends! We didn’t even nail down our vision for the centerpieces and most of the decor until 10-14 days before the ceremony, but Julia absolutely nailed it and everything was so beautiful! The day of the wedding, her assistant, Brenda, checked in on us while we got ready to make sure we were doing okay and she was the sweetest and just as organized and on top of it as Julia was. Before, during and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, Julia checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure we were okay and got us drinks if we needed it. She took so much off my plate mentally the week of my wedding and that was just so special and I appreciated it in ways I don’t know how to explain in 3500 characters or less. This venue has a caterer that comes with it (Taste of Excellence) who were also great to work with, and not having to make that decision was insanely helpful. I mostly dealt with Mikaela and she was very helpful with all of my questions and even accommodated us to schedule a second food tasting (something I don’t think they normally do) because my parents wanted to completely change the food options after the first tasting lol. Whitehall also has a DJ company included (Selective Sound Entertainment) who were great as well! Their online portal to actually select your song requests is a little dated and, you only get 8 “must play” songs, and the rest are more like suggestions for the DJ during the party but to be honest our DJ Jordan kept it bumping all night and it was SO fun he even had the bartender dancing with us from her station! I really couldn’t imagine doing our wedding anywhere else. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll scream it into the sky for anyone who will listen!

The staff at Galaxy did a great job working with us to customize our booking for our small wedding.
